They mainly serve paninis, open faced sandwiches like "toasts" and some cool apps with salad options as well. Full service bar. Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious! Both were delicious, but I preferred the latter. My fiancé enjoyed his IPA and had it twice. We were trying to not get too full for our upcoming dinner reservations so we ordered a sampling appetizers as well. The Chicken tortilla soup came in a neat mug, my fiancé was a big fan of it. The buffalo chicken wings were very good and the cauliflower bites were very large in portion size. I wish the cauliflower had been firm and not a little mushy, but overall the entire experience was great. It wasn't crowded when we got there at four, but it was starting to pick up when we left at 5:30x

(You can see it in one of my photos) They are located right next to a municipal parking lot, so parking is NOT free. Pay at the kiosk in the middle of the lot. During our mid-week visit the bar was pretty full. A long, thin space, there are a few booths across from the bar which sits along the right side of the building. The bartender was handing FOH. She was very friendly and seemed to know a few of the guests. She set us up with drinks and a menu. I ordered spicy fish bites and they were pretty good! The fries were crispy on the outside. All together a nice pub meal. There is also a restaurant side of the building, but during our visit, it looked closed. Restrooms are behind small privacy walls in the bar area. Women in the right hand corner, men between the restaurant and bar area. It was cold in there, just fyi. I'm not sure we'd make a special trip to come back to Patsie Dugan's, but if we were in the area, we'd probably stop in again.

The interior and exterior are so cool, and it all looks like real stone with medieval style decor with some modern touches. The ambiance is on point, and since it was night time in October, we didn't even experience the cool waterside patio. Anyway, all the food and drinks were excellent (I'm always down for a margarita flight with friends), and our host and server was incredibly kind, helpful, and diligent. Business was slow that night (a Tuesday), maybe because who is expecting something so cool in so strange a location? I really want more people to go here and support this great place. We'll be talking about it for a long time.

The inside is dominated by a large central oval bar with tables around the outside perimeter. This is clearly a place to drink. A place I might have migrated to in my 20's. The day I visited they offered fish specials and the place smelled like a fish market. Now I like both cooked fish and sushi, but the smell was a bit too much. I arrived around 11:30 and had the shepard''a pie. It was good, but not particularly memorable. Not sure if I will return, but should I probably give it another chance. My initial impression is that their food offerings were significantly the same as 100's of other bar restaurants.

I'm staying up on the hill at the Vida. So it's a 28 min walk from there. All downhill one way. All uphill the next. It's a Tuesday night and they were packed at 6pm. I'm here by myself so I was able to grab a spot at the bar. Easily found one and got a menu quickly. It was loud when I walked in but surprisingly quiet on the opposite side of the bar. I told the bar tender I was caught between two dishes and she helped me pick. The Turkey BLT. I also got the crispy Broccoli because it looked like something I couldn't just get anywhere. Both were great choices but a ton of food. The broccoli was super sweet with a little wasabi after kick. The turkey BLT was thick cut turkey breast not overshadowed by the bacon. A lot of times a BLT is just assuming that you just want a bacon sandwich. Not this one. I'm not supposed to have bacon so I have to remove it. It's a shame when I'm out traveling I don't get to share these experiences with my wife. I'd love for her to try this place.

However we were seated at a large, awkward table in the back of the second floor area where a door was open to an outdoor patio area. The temp was in the high 50's and since we were very cold we asked that they close the door to the outside or reseat us. Initially a cocktail waitress said (rudely) that closing the door was impossible because it would make it hard for her to get in and out. Eventually a manager type of guy came over and closed the door. Fine...except college kids were going in and out the door to the outside patio area every few seconds so we continued to freeze. Complained again and asked to be moved...nothing! Eventually and mercifully we finished our dinner and were ready to leave. The snippy and sassy cocktail waitress continued to go in and out the door making sure that she opened it widely each time, and sneered at us every time. On our way out I complained to the general manager and he said "sorry" but didn't acknowledge that we asked to be reseated and we were just ignored. This place is packed all the time so I assume they don't care about one disgruntled table of 5, still, you should know that if the weather is chilly don't let them seat you anywhere near the outside patio...you'll freeze and they won't care.
