Got a chance to try something new today. Pretty tasty food and we loved how the place was decorated. The menu has some very unique items including a croffle. It's a hybrid croissant and waffle with cream and strawberries. It was very tasty and we highly recommend it. The ham and cheese croissant was also exceptional. If you're in the area, definitely swing in and try something new!!!

    Lavander & Strawberry Matcha spot

Another Matcha spot, which, serves brunch type food items. I ordered a strawberry and lavender Matcha. The lavender was delicious as was the strawberry. I also ordered a Mushroom Truffle Honey Dip on Italian bread and a Bang Bang Shrimp Crepe. Both were absolutely delicious and had great flavor. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly and the portion size was more than generous. The bread was slightly firm but soft enough to accommodate the three cheeses without losing the integrity of the sandwich. The crepe is made of rice flour. It was thin yet didn't fall apart. It was filled with fresh ingredients and shrimp, which definitely enhanced its overall flavor. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff were friendly, welcoming and suggested some customer favorites, since, this was my first time visiting.

I actually found this place by accident. I was walking to my car with my friend trying to figure out if we were going to hit up a dessert place; that she had in mind. Glad we found it because, it's such a hidden treasure. I was indecisive about what I wanted but, the sweet barista/cashier was nice enough to recommend a few things since I didn't want something to be super sweet. We ended up getting the blueberry cheesecake crepe, custard crepe, and an iced coconut latte. My goodness...everything was so scrumptious! *Pro-tip they do half off pastries an hour before closing. I got 3 items for less than 7 bucks that's a score!!

Had a lovely brunch at Cafe Mong. My son loved the crepe and it was presented beautifully. The Rice bowl was very good and fresh. Service was very good and timely .

We came several times during their soft opening phase when they offered 50% off their entire menu. During this promotion period we were able to try a variety of their food and drink options. Savory: The passion prosciutto sandwich was absolutely divine! My favorite out of all of their savory items we tried. The truffle mushroom honey sandwich was very good as well. We also got the bang bang shrimp crepe which was amazing and came with a generous portion of shrimp. Sweet: The matcha bingsoo was wonderfully refreshing and comes with the perfect portion to share between two people. The french toast sticks were not particularly impressive and I would not get them again. I'd recommend skipping their french toasts and opting for the sweet crepes or bingsoo instead. Drinks: As for drinks we tried the brown sugar matcha and taro latte. Both were delicious! You can't go wrong with any of the beverage options here. Overall, cute little Korean cafe with a big variety of tasty offerings! They have outlets and wifi so its a great place to study or get some work done too.

I visited the newly opened Cafe Mong with two friends on a Wednesday around lunchtime. This spot is still doing a grand opening promotion -- half off, I believe, until the end of the month -- which is a great excuse to try a variety of items. We ordered the Nutella banana crêpe, bang bang shrimp crêpe, vegetarian teriyaki bowl, matcha latte, and squid game latte. Everything was tasty and thoughtfully presented. The mix of café classics with an Asian-inspired twist really makes their menu stand out. The only reason I'm holding back a star is because of the crowd as well as food being up to par. Since it's new, it gets very busy depending on the hour. Be prepared to wait -- both for a table and for your food and drinks. That said, the staff was friendly and working hard to keep things moving. Additionally, after trying several of the food items at this point, I think drinks are generally significantly better than the food. Overall, it's a great addition to the café scene in the area.

Went there for lunch. I had the bang bang shrimp crepe which was fresh and flavorful. The ingredients contributed to its tastefulness. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Loved the ambiance, the lights and placement of tables, seats, counters, plants and decorative pieces.

Let me begin by saying that this cafe (1st location) was introduced to me by one of my colleagues & I fell in love with it. I kept wishing they had a 2nd location in Summerlin & I finally got my wish granted. The food here is amazing from the Bang-Bang Shrimp crepe, to the Crème Brûlée to the amazing pastries, it is delicious! The service is top Tier & Chef's kiss! The Korean couple who owns this business makes it cozy & cute as if you stepped into an actual cafe in Seoul, Korea. If you're looking for a place to eat breakfast or brunch, or even a date, give this place a try as you will not be disappointed. I have come to this location twice (once a week) and I will continue to do so and post the food I order for my family and I. On a side note, the first time I came to this 2nd location, I got a chocolate coin for their 5th anniversary I believe from their primary location behind Southern Hills hospital,

Food and drinks were amazing! I'm surprised this place wasn't busy at almost 12pm. This is definitely a hidden gem and I will be returning back.

It's a bowl of warm rice topped with assorted vegetables, korean sausage, tofu and gochujang a spicy red chili paste.

There was about a 10 minute wait to order, which we didn't mind given how crowded it was. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill when it was our turn. The staff member taking our order said, "do you know what you want?" in an unwelcoming tone. Even though, his tone turned me off, we still placed an order (...probably shouldn't have). We ordered the Freckled Redhead burger ($16) and the Chicken with Mac Waffle ($17). After ordering, we were given a number and waited outside. The food came out after about 20 minutes and we took it home to eat. A different staff member served our to-go order and she seemed nice. As much as we wanted to enjoy it, the food was just OK. The chicken was seasoned well but it seemed over fried, which made it dry. The waffle itself was decent but only had a small amount of mac and cheese inside. I had seen previous photos where mac and cheese was also served on the side, so that was disappointing. My boyfriend had the burger and said it was just OK as well...nothing special and not really worth the price. Overall, the staff member taking orders didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, and should probably take a break or work in the back. The food wasn't exciting like we hoped. We give it 2 stars. Even though we live nearby, we probably wouldn't return for the food. Maybe the coffee and drinks are better, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

A friend recommended we stop here for breakfast or lunch on our way to Zion, Utah. We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

It is a Wed night at 8:30pm and it had several tables full but we were still able to be seated right away. The place is hard to find so heads up! Look up pictures of the outside so you don't walk past it! It's a beautiful, cozy spot with an upscale feel and vibe. The playlist is amazing! Whomever curated this has incredible & varied music taste and it all works together! 90's R&B, Alternative, Grunge Rock, all of it so good! The menu has sections that you choose 2-4 items from and share with your table. We tried the Mushroom flatbread, the Pot Roast sandwich, the Beet Salad and the Grilled Oysters. The Grilled Oysters were not a favorite. However, I think that's just personal preference because of the style they are prepared in. We prefer our grilled oysters to be very charred and more of a buttery flavor. These are prepared in an Asian style and and more of a soft grill than a char. Our server very graciously had a second plate served up with more of a grill to the oyster which we appreciated. The rest of the dishes were delicious. We were so full that we passed on dessert, but would definitely be back because the options were inventive and looked so tasty. A doughnut bread pudding, a bourbon brownie; yes to both please!

Bacon Nation slaps slices on just about everything but French toast, and even that can be topped with bacon butter and bacon-infused syrup. The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. It's a massive meal and I feel like the waitress could have positioned me on all fours in front of a feeding trough in order to graze on it. Bacon Nation is located on the D's second floor inside a very clean and bright dining room with lots of booths, a counter, and an ultra-pleasant hostess named Angel. In summary, a well-earned 5 oink review is deserving because their food is that darn good. "Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives.
