I have a couple of concerns or it would be 5 stars! There does not seem to be any consistency on food or service. Such a shame, as I LOVE their Lentil soup, chicken wraps and kabobs. It is very casual, so I am not expecting excellent service, but when the one cashier is in the back "chatting" with the cook and when you say "excuse me" and she says "just a minute" but keeps on with her conversation, it is a bit frustrating! I understand Spanish and trust me, when I say they were having a private discussion and NOT about business. The chicken was really over cooked to the point of almost not being able to eat it. This has happened 2 times out of the last 4 meals there. Went there for lunch on Thursday as I had a client to go see out in San Bernadino and it was EXCELLENT! I will keep trying but they really need to train the staff at dinner, both front position and cook. read more

I had the lentil soup which was very good and a large portion size for $3.85. The pita bread was warm, soft and delicious. You pick your own 2 sides with any entree is great and they have many she's too choose from...I had the grilled veggies which were excellent and the rice which was good. My only problem with whole dinner was the chicken Kabob... while it did have a very good flavor it was tough and too dry. It also came with a tiny portion of tzatiki which was very good. I had the Baklava which was also good but you have to buy two and I really only wanted one. What a great choice it was! The server was very nice and friendly. I appreciated my interactions with her. The preparation of our food was provided in a timely manner. The lunch rush is REAL here so I'd recommend calling in next time. TZATZIKI BURGER (3/5) - Extremely mediocre burger. It was good nonetheless, but not something I'd get again. The menu description paints a mental picture of it to be a healthy-sounding burger, but upon arrival, it was a pretty standard burger you'd expect from a suburban diner. I wish there was more of a Mediterranean pizzazz to it, or at least put field greens instead of shredded iceberg lettuce. It's described to come on a Whole Wheat Bun, but to my disappointment, it really seemed like a Big Mac sesame bun. Also sucks how they charge more for if you want feta cheese. LENTIL SOUP (5/5)- SOO "wtf?" good. Ordered this not knowing what to expect, but its a very savory (almost a lil too salty for me) tomato-based broth with plentiful not-too-mushy lentils. Very flavorful, very comforting. I'd buy a gallon of this to cuddle with in the winter time.
