Strawberry Matcha

This is a really cafe/restaurant! The menu includes food, drinks, and desserts. The desserts were all really pretty and unique. I tried the strawberry matcha latte, and it was very delicious but a little too sweet for me. There was plenty of seating inside, so it was a good place to do work and/or catch up with friends. The music is a little loud though, so keep that in mind if you do want to do work here.

Strawberry Mango Smoothie aka Brain Freeze Waiting to Happen!

Gave myself a massive brain freeze drinking the all too delicious Mango Strawberry smoothie! Beyond that the dude at the counter was an artisan when it came to sculpting the Bingsoo! Is it art or is it food?!! Service is awesome and the vibe is right out of a K-drama.

Definitely a must-visit again when I am in town. The staff was friendly, and our orders were out quickly. We ordered two soft serves. The soft serve was one of the best I had. The matcha soft serve had a decadent, rich, earthy flavor. It was not too bitter or sweet. The vanilla was rich and very creamy. I will order the swirl next time I visit. The combination of both was divine. The cafe is a great study spot with free WIFI and plenty of seating. I went during the even and it was not as busy. They also have a great lunch special and a variety of snacks, appetizers, and desserts.

Participated in the Explore Gwinnett Seoul of the South food tour and this was our final stop and it was time for sweet treats and drinks. The iced coffee and lemonade made it hard to pick my fav as they were both outstanding. Being able to try and sample many of the sweet treats made this the perfect spot to ead our food tour and again, it made it impossible to pick my favorite so my advice it visit often and try the whole menu.

Cafe Mixx offers drinks and sweet/savory menu items. Service was good and pretty quick. It's a nice place to hang out with friends or family. Ordered an einspanner and tiramisu. Not the best einspanner, but it wasn't terrible. Cream is good but doesn't last very long; the coffee is strong, but there's a bitter after taste. More drinkable after the ice watered down the coffee. Also, there was too much cocoa powder topping the einspanner coffee; felt like I was drinking tiramisu instead of coffee. Highlight of this stop was the purple sweet potato tiramisu; so sweet and delicious! Ended up getting a 2nd one. Also got to try my friend's matcha float. Really wished I ordered this instead haha. Was too full when I got here, but hoping to try their savory plates (katsu) sometime in the future when I'm back in Atlanta!

Spicy Chicken Katsu

The ambiance of this place is absolutely adorable! It's a cute little cafe to bring your friends and family. However, the food fell short. I ordered the spicy chicken katsu and it wasn't spicy. I compared it with my friend who got the regular chicken katsu and it tasted the same. The katsu itself wasn't flavorful. The desserts on the other hand were super cute and yummy! They aren't super sweet, but still enjoyable. I got a croffle, two small pastries, and a mini strawberry bingsu. The menu was slightly overpriced, but the service is quick and speedy!

-can't speak for the food but I really liked the mango bingsoo! -clean atmosphere -some staff were friendly others were not -matcha ice cream tasted strange--like the milk in it has gone bad and the matcha was too bitter -would come back for bingsoo and to try the food

Carbonara Chicken Katsu

Good food and spacious seating. Would definitely recommend getting food/dessert over drinks here though

Solid dessert place!! But they also have food!! Apps, ramen, and fried dishes. Curry ramen is hard to find but they got it here. I didn't get to try because the kitchen closes an hour before the store does so if you wander in at 9 when they close at 10 no food for you. But desserts are available!!! The best of the bunch we tried was the strawberry tiramisu. It was creamy like ice cream with great flavor. The drink selection here is good as well. I tried the peach matcha tea. Not that great. Watery and sweet. The shaved ice is also ok. Nothing special. The ambiance is good. Lots of people doing school work. They have a plenty of seats and parking.

Chicken Katsu

I first tried this place today July 5th with visiting friends from MI..Pleasantly surprised at the tastes of Chicken Katsu and Hamburger Steak. Also uniquely made in Milk ice cream and Matcha Latte! Great prices for tasty dishes, and quiet inside for social chats and even business talk!

I've always wanted to come to Cafe Mixx. It's been on my foodie bucket list for a while now. I'm really happy that I got to try this place with my niece. The ribs were pure perfection. I also got the sausage rice cake skewer. It was sweet and spicy and everything I'd imagined. There is so much for you to try, you may not even know where to begin. They have an extensive dessert menu as well. From the pictures you see, there are a ton of macaroon flavors to choose from. I also got one of their specialty lemonades and really enjoyed it. This place has so much to offer. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu.

Pork Curry Donkatsu

Great prices considering the portion you get for the donkatsu. This place has been around for a few years and over the years they've added onto their menu. Now serving rice bowls, ramen, as well as an expanded dessert menu with cakes, macarons, drinks, and bingsu. You order at the front. Cashier was friendly. Restaurant is clean with plenty of seating.

Carbonara Pork Loin Donkatsu~

Pretty good spot for comfort food with a concise menu. I got to go to this place twice when I was in Georgia because another location we tried eating at was busy. The interior was cute and simple with plenty of seating inside and parking outside. I tried the Carbonara Pork Loin Donkatsu, Pork Curry Donkatsu, Crispy Chicken Wings, Purple Sweet Potato Tiramisu, Sweet Potato Cake, and Plum Lime Lemonade. The quality of the food was on point, but when I came with my group of friends, it did take a while for us to get our food. The Donkatsu was crispy and flavorful, same with the Crispy Chicken Wings. When we ordered the Crispy Chicken Wings the first time, they forgot our radish. I also didn't know that the Sweet Potato Cake was $15! I wish they listed the price near the display case before I was rung up. The Plum Lime Lemonade was interesting and refreshing - I would probably get it again since it was something different. Overall, I would probably come back if I was in the area and order ahead of time.

The Second Level / Upper Floor is reserved for if you are going to be ordering/dining in for the pastas and/or savory foods. I only tried their coffee today on the first level. I did go upstairs to check it out and did see a bunch of people upstairs just sitting and chilling on their laptops with their coffees/drinks; so they may not really enforce their "reserved for pasta dining only" rule. Not sure. Ambiance (First Level / First Floor) - clean, nice, laid-back, chill, cool environment. Casual setting. Cool architecture, design, layout, and decor. Can get loud inside as ceilings are high and can get echo-y, especially if there are alot of people. Also, there is music constantly playing in background. Service (First Level / First Floor) - customer service was quick and straightforward. They were nice and polite. A+. No complaints here. Coffee (First Level / First Floor) - tried their "Korean Iced Coffee" for $7.25. It was one size only and one price at $7.25. It was delicious. Almost similar tasting to a Vietnamese coffee in my opinion (both are delicious). That strong, brewed coffee flavor with this delicious milky, sweetened condensed milk taste. I am not exactly sure if they used sweetened condensed milk in the Korean iced coffee, but it sure does taste similar to it. It's quite good. Also had a "Large Hazelnut Hot Coffee" with creamer for $5.95. It was okay. Total with tax for the two drinks was $13.99. Keep in mind that the WiFi is on your receipt as a QR Code at the bottom. So if you want to use the WiFi, ask for the receipt and/or keep the receipt so that you can scan the QR Code in order to use the WiFi. There was no password on the receipt, only a QR Code that you need to scan. Overall - Yes I would recommend this place for a nice little coffee stop. Check it out for yourself. Enjoy!

The injoelmi flavor is perfect. 2 Basque cheesecake with adorable hand-scooped whipped cream on top. I tried the matcha, but will also try the ube and pistachio flavors in the future. 3 Viral chewy Dubai cookies These are extremely difficult to make. I've had these at a few different shops and the homemade ones here are the best I've had so far. Not too sweet and loaded with crispy filling. 4 Mini Cookies - currently the cookies are Nintendo and Sanrio themed. 5 Seasonal drinks - I tried the black sesame latte, which you can add matcha or coffee to also. Next time, will try the ube latte.

Great place to work and hang out. --Service/Staff-- Early Saturday morning was managed by two women who were very attentive and quick with the drinks. I didn't even get a chance to explore the menu, so I went with my go-to drink. I thought about changing or trying another drink/latte, but she quickly rang me up. Not a bad thing, especially on a busy day. No complaints on the service. --Products/Service-- Cortado, what can I say. You can't go wrong, and it was good, nothing special. I kinda wished I tried some of their other unique drinks/latte. --Capacity-- Plenty of open spaces and tables. I would say the cafe can hold 20 people in capacity. I saw a lot of people taking their orders to-go. --Overall-- I will definitely be back to try some of their other drinks. I like the vibe in the cafe. My personal take, I wish there was more greenery in the cafe, but I kinda dig the cinder block holding up the fridge and table at the side. Beautiful cafe.

Ordered the walnut crepe ($12). Portion-wise it's on the smaller side, but the quality made up for it. Crepe itself was soft with slightly crisped edges giving a nice contrast in texture. The cream was the star -- thick with a perfectly salty-sweet balance that kept every bite interesting instead of one-note. The walnuts added a satisfying crunch that broke up the richness and gave the whole crepe more dimension. Ordering is done at a screen, and I noticed only a handful of crepes have photos. My guess is those are the ones they're promoting, but it would be nice if more options had pictures so you know what to expect. The walnut crepe I ordered did have a picture. After you finish, there's a bin by the door where you drop off your dish. Overall, this is a place that focuses on quality over quantity. The walnut crepe felt crafted with intention, and while you won't walk away stuffed, you will leave satisfied. For me, it's a solid 4 stars -- I'd come back if I was really craving a crepe, though it's not the kind of place I'd call my go-to.

The service was very quick, and I believe the owner helped us; she was very pleasant and welcoming. One thing I really loved about the space is how open yet private it feels. They've placed small decorative planters around the seating areas that act as dividers, so you don't feel like you're sitting right next to other guests. I ordered the taro latte and it was delicious; you ca definitely taste the taro flavor. You can get it hot or iced, and I chose it hot.
