The only functional part of the bar.

Waitress tried to sell me drugs. I refused and she charged me more on my bill and still wanted a tip. She charged me for extra drinks and got them wrong. Never coming here again. Nice pool tables though. Idk if they are worth 25 an hour.

An alright place to enjoy a Greek meal in the suburbs. As people have noted, this restaurant is a bit of everything as it includes a bar, outdoor seating, video gaming, and lounge. For me, it's a bit confusing since this is really all housed in one large room -- making it an interesting mashup of experiences. The prices are fair, not that cheap but also not that expensive for options that include quite a bit of grilled meat. Service was fairly sparse, often taking long times for the waitress to return to the table and ask about water or additional needs. The food was alright -- somewhat tasty and good portion size, but also not memorable compared to other Greek restaurants nearby, even against fast-casual options. Food temperature could have been a bit better and execution on textures and presentation could have been better. Here are my thoughts on the different items i tried: Fried calamari: Nice large slice of calamari. Batter could have been a bit more crisp and the calamari was a bit too soft. The giardiniera flavor overpowers everything else in the dish. Clam chowder soup: Fairly creamy, but otherwise lacking in flavor. There definitely could be a lot more clam, potatoes, onion, and celery to make the broth much more flavorful. Lamb and pork souvlaki pitas: The meat is grilled nicely and seasoned well. Portion size is pretty good in these pitas where you will definitely not leave hungry. Probably the best items I tried. American burger: Nice presentation, but the beef wasn't really juicy and I didn't really get a char flavor out of it. Lamb burger: Lots of seasoning on the patty, but also not very juicy. Chicken pesto pasta: This was overall really dry, despite the pesto sauce and olive oil.. and the chicken wasn't juicy at all. The noodles were stuck together (even without cheese) which made it difficult to eat. Fries: Semi-soft, semi crisp, wasn't bad but also wasn't great. Potato salad: Quite creamy, but really lacked in flavor. The potatoes were also cut a bit too big where it wasn't quite bite sized. Overall, it's an alright place if you need to lounge around and meet up with others. But not my first choice when it comes to food.

I just gotta say, this place is great. And for the 1 star/2 star psycho that tried to tell "her truth" on the last review? You're crazier than a bag of hammers, lady. You berated the 7/11 guy next door for not letting you use an employees only bathroom, threatened to call the cops on him, told him you were pregnant, which is strange considering you were doing shots and drank a dirty martini at the bar five minutes before you decided to go to him, tried to duck out on your tab, tried to debate with the owner if you should or shouldn't have to pay your tab, and the icing on the cake? You stole a pop off the bar and then had the balls to say you bought it when confronted about it. I'd say you're batshit, but that would be offensive to bats...and shit. But hey, that's just a sane person's version of the truth. #deuces

Wonderful Cafe, they can have really good dessert and coffee. I like their comfortable coaches. They have pool table, bar and others. But I usually go there for food or coffee

I've never had a bad meal. Great appetizers. Big screens for the Hawks games (the only thing is no volume). Service is good. No complaints.

It was so delicious & I'm not even a pizza fan (horrifying I know) but too much diary is bad for me & I like lighter fare. It's definitely got a spicy hint to it. Service: Great. Ambiance: I really like this place. It's nicer than most Moretti's because it's newer in the area of Wheeling with a lot of new restaurants. There was a good band playing on the weekend. Parking: Easy, huge lot. Pro tip: Try the deep dish even though it's known for thin crust

Heads up: we didn't make a reservation, and they definitely prioritize people who do. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes for a table. It's a busy Tuesday spot, and they seemed a little short‑staffed for how packed it was, but everyone was doing their best and staying friendly. And honestly, once the food came out, the wait didn't matter anymore. Because let me tell you -- the Maxed Out Mac 'N' Cheese pizza with the triple‑stuffed asiago cheese crust was the highlight of my entire day. It's like an Alfredo pasta and a pizza had a ridiculous, cheesy baby, and I mean that in the best possible way. The BBQ sauce and jalapeños on top were incredible. If anything, I wish they'd gone even heavier with both. We also tried a bunch of other pizzas as a group: - Margherita - just okay - Tuscan Vegetarian - surprisingly good - Meat Lovers - classic and solid - Moretti's BBQ - smoky and sweet - House Favorite (thin crust) - super crispy and tasty Everything came out hot, fresh, and loaded with toppings. If you're thinking about going on a Tuesday, either make a reservation or be ready to hang out for a bit. But the food absolutely delivers, and that mac 'n' cheese pizza alone is worth the trip.

We were lucky enough to have the same host again -- Denise -- who is super friendly, easy to talk to, and makes you feel like a regular right away. That kind of familiarity really elevates the whole experience. We kicked things off with the Mexican wings and WOW... those were on another level. The seasoning is completely unique -- bold, flavorful, and something you don't come across often. Absolutely unforgettable. It's one of the new menu items that we tried . Then came the garlic Parmesan wings... and I'm not exaggerating when I say I was in heaven. Perfectly crispy, loaded with that rich, garlicky flavor -- exactly what you want in a wing. Another new item ! For my main meal I had the chicken BLT, which was seasoned perfectly and topped with this garlic spread that added an amazing contrast. Every bite just worked. My hubs had the Philly steak sandwich. Totally one of the highlights. The steak was incredibly tender, cooked just right, and paired with the perfect amount of mushrooms -- not too much, not too little. Everything was balanced and packed with flavor. And my drink of the night !? The hibiscus margarita completely stole the show for me. Refreshing, slightly sweet, and honestly kind of addicting -- I could've had a couple more. Overall, an incredible experience (again). Great food, great vibes, and great service. Safe to say we'll be back... probably sooner than later! Maybe even next weekend !

They have a large outdoor seating area with its own counter and bar area. Half of the inside is a dining room, the middle is counter bar service, and the other side is a sports book with a lot of large TVs to watch horse racing and other sporting events. There are TVs all around the restaurant, so we could watch various sports going on that evening. On the night we went, ten wings were nine bucks and you can select two sauces or dry rubs. They were also doing some drink specials and drinks weren't expensive either. We also shared cheese curds and pretzel bites before we all ordered wings. The curds were curds. The problem with cheese curds is that if they're not super hot, they're just meh. I get that businesses make good money from them, but ugh, not a great item to order. The pretzel bites are fine as well. They were okay. Again, not an issue with Player's Pub, it's just the nature of these two different appetizers. Anyway, I got the wings special with a side of tots and ranch and included a side salad. The salad was a nice size and was fresh. I really didn't expect, well, I didn't know what to expect, but it was a good salad. The ranch is good, too. They have a great ranch game. And was a perfect sauce to dip my tots in. The wings were very good too. I got the hot honey and the bourbon-bacon sauces on my wings. The wings were meaty, juicy, and flavorful. They had a bunch of sauces and I would definitely order them again and try of their other sauces. I'm also part of a burger club, and they have several burgers on their menu, so we'll have to come back to try their burgers. Our server was also very attentive, constantly checking on us and refilling our drinks. We'll definitely be back to Player's Pub and catch a game and grab some great food.

This is one of those spots that doesn't try to be something it's not. It leans all the way into being a true neighborhood sports bar, and that's exactly why it works so well. Walk in and you're immediately wrapped in that familiar hum of TVs, cheers, and conversations a sports bar should have! The patio is nice, but it lacks TV's which would be great with some cover, but oh well. It's a good setup, and a huge reason folks keep coming back. Food-wise, burgers, wings, fries... nothing pretending to be fancy, just solid and satisfying. People consistently call it "good pub food" with a fun atmosphere, and that's honestly the perfect description. What really makes it stand out, though, is the atmosphere. It somehow balances being lively without being overwhelming. You can come to actually watch the game, or just hang out and soak in the energy. Regulars, first-timers, families, groups of friends, it all blends together into this easygoing, welcoming crowd. Is it flawless every single visit? No. It can get busy, things might take a little longer during peak times, and like any well-loved local spot, there are moments that aren't perfect. But none of that sticks with you. What does stick is the experience. At the end of the day, this is the kind of place you don't overthink. You just go, grab a seat, order something you know will hit the spot, and enjoy the game. Five stars, not because it's perfect, but because it nails exactly what it's supposed to be.
