I stopped in shortly before closing on 5/21 to see if they had any slices left. The gentleman working informed me that there was one slice left, but that it was kind of dry. He said I could have the slice for free if I was hungry. Incredibly thoughtful gesture. There's plenty of Rosati's around but I'll go out of my way to eat here after this. As my receipt reads) was extremely RUDE and DOWN RIGHT NASTY!!!!! First off, I joined my family who was already there for maybe 10 minutes. We had a large group of 20. As I was greeting my family at the table, she literally pushed me from behind, saying "I'm behind you" AND ROLLED HER EYES. All she had to do was use the words " I'm behind you" and I would have happily moved for her. I am a server as well. However instead of that SHE PUSHED ME FROM BEHIND. UNACCEPTABLE. Then we could not get to to smile let alone take our drink order. We pre ordered a few apps and pizzas but we're waiting to order anything else because she disappeared after the pushing incident. WHICH SHE NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR!!! Service was absolutely TERRIBLE AND shame on Claudia and the rest of the restaurant. Not sure if she was the manager or not but no one else ever came out to our table to check on how our food or service was. I am not a huge pizza lover, so going out for pizza is usually an issue because people have very specific taste when it comes to pizza. I really liked their pizza because the crust was thin, not super crispy but not soggy either. We got mushrooms and pepperoni on it and you could taste them both very well. The large looked enormous. The only downside was that it was a little greasy but that's a sign of a good pizza. Definitely will be coming back and next time I will take a picture! read more

This is a surprisingly small "Sports Pub" version of the Rosati's chain. It has about 8 tables - but a full length bar. We ordered sandwiches from the overwhelmed bartender who already had a table of 10 old guys as well as 2 other tables. No other help was visible. Our sandwiches were just ok. The "Cheef" is an Italian Beef with cheese melted in it. It suffered from blandness, even with Giardiniera under the cheese.. The Combo Beef and Sausage was better. We'll be back to try the pizza. read more

My family and I have been going to Rosati's for a number of years. The place is flat out the best. Swing in for a quick brew at the bar. A company meeting in the afternoon when you need a table to have a conversation. A place to grab dinner with the family - the pizza is excellent and never disappoints. Also please know if you want to wander away from pizza - my wife loves the salads and the Italian beef is something to write home about. Guess what I love about Rosati's are the people. Erica, the owner, is always on site and open to chat, change a tv (20 TVs) or make a special pizza for my 10 year old who simply wants to be different. The place is not huge but even on a busy night the team will find a way to accommodate. Much appreciated. I have read prior reviews and agree Rosati's can add to staff to meet demands. I know Erica has been trying. I have seen a "help wanted" sign in the window for quite some time. The challenge with an economy in full employment is there just is not enough people to go around. Personally I believe the pizza is excellent, relatable and consistent. Couple that with an owner who is trying her hardest - I go five stars. Keep up the great work. We have ordered for our office from this location several times. Today we found ourselves in a true bind. Our caterer cancelled our order the day of lunch at 11:30AM for a delivery time of 12PM! How do we order lunch for 50 people on such sort notice. Enter Josh and the staff at Rosati's in Bannockburn! Within just over an hour of me calling in a panic our HUGE order (10 18" pizzas, 2 large salads, chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks) was delivered. Lunch had been saved and not only saved but delicious. Our Board of Directors, who are not from the Chicago office, loved all of the pizza. Not only was the food delicious but the customer service of this restaurant was excellent. We will continue to order from Rosati's. read more

Love the pizza. I dislike the timeliness of the take out pizza orders. They are never on time. But the pizza makes up for the slowness. If you promise a pizza at 5:45, don't have it ready for take air at 6:15. If you are going to make a customer wait that long, offer a soft drink or app or something. Had our fingers crossed that this could be a Great Local Place for Great Food! That being said, we were disappointed. We really needed a great easy dinner place too. Our salads were not super fresh and in fact pretty wilted & brown. Pasta we ordered was skimpy portion with little flavor. We also tried the pizza - can't say it was good- it was edible and kids might like it, but it could have been so much better. We will give it another try in the next few weeks, hopefully they can work it out, but this visit did not win us over & we cannot recommend or make it a regular stop.
