A very lovely spot in Port Hope. I went during the weekday for dinner and was able to get a table without a reservation (though it's highly recommended you make one, especially on the weekend). It's a beautiful, upscale space. There's a couple tables at the front and there's a section at the back as well. I asked the server for recommendations and ended up getting the Ukrainian beef goulash - a staple item. It was beautifully presented, delicious and filling. I would love to come back and try more things on their menu.

Our first experience with Ukrainian food. Borscht is very good and not too sour. It's very different from the Hong Kong style Borscht we are used to. The Chicken Kyiv is also very good. Crispy on the outside but very juicy on the inside. We also tried the potato pancakes and apple crepes which are good but would be hotter for us. The place is spacious and staff are very friendly. Families with strollers may need to stay at the main level or in the patio.

Chicken Kiev. Tender chicken moist & tasty combination. Potatoes crusty/soft combined. Broccoli & cauliflower not overcooked or undercooked

For dinner time they dim the lights to provide a cozy and romantic setting. Our server Jamie was very friendly and patient. She brought us waters right away while we looked at the menu. We ordered 2 Amsterdam blonde lagers to with our dinner. They served the beers in chioled mugs. The beer was smooth and refreshing. My wife ordered the Lamb rack and I ordered the 12 oz ribeye with peppercorn sauce from the Fall prix fixe menu $69 for 3 courses. There's a choice of appetizer and dessert. I got the Dicarlo Italian meatballs and Chocolate black out cake. The Italian meatball dish was served with garlic bread and basil tomato sauce. The garlic bread can be dipped in the tomato sauce. The mains were outstanding. The lamb rack was cooked perfectly and just the right amount of seasoning. The honey roasted potatoes and vegetables were a great compliment to the dish. The 12 oz ribeye was grilled to perfect medium rare and topped with peppercorn sauce. The garlic mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. The chocolate black out cake was a nice way to celebrate my wife's birthday. The cake was rich and Overall the food was great and service was exceptional. The staff came by to take a photo for our special occasion. If you are in the Oshawa area I recommend this steakhouse.

I hung up the phone and called the KEG right away and made reservations. Our party of 10 had a great time at the KEG, service was great and the food was beyond delicious. The bill came to around $700 dollars. Wildfire missed out on a $700 sale, maybe you should run your business a bit more professional. I don't even want to give you a one star, but the KEG gets a 5 star.

I've had their fish and chips in the past, which were meh compared to what I've experienced elsewhere, but that is where I will finish complaining and start complimenting for example the tacos here. They are amazing, as is the poutine, the onion rings, and the Smash burger--I got the Angry Sterling, which is a flavour explosion with delicious toppings. And the drink, the Toronto cocktail, was amazing--a strong enough flavour of whisky with just enough of the liqueurs to make it not sting going down. Oh, and I haven't spoken about the live music yet. There was a guy playing guitar who was taking requests, and--and I'm saying this as a person who isn't too big a fan of acoustic guitar music--was pretty good. His passion alone made me start to bop my head and tap my foot to the music. Oh, and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the nice trails, beach, and a historic house in a neighbourhood that reminds me of the bridal path.
