Went to check out this place based on a recommendation. Bought Mocha, Prosciutto pizza, vanilla cheescake, raspberry chocolate mousse. Pizza was really good. Definitely recommend it Mocha was ok. Nothing fancy Cheesecake and mousse was not that good. I saw bagels and other bread products. They look good but didn't try it. I was told they are made in house. I just bought a freshly baked loaf of sourdough bread and I couldn't wait to get home to eat it because it was still warm from baking! They have all kinds of delicious other varieties of breads, grocery items, meats, cold cuts, even kitchen items! The staff is pleasant yet the blond, blue-eyed girl serving me in the bakery isle outshined the others. We've had brunch and dinner here too but we weren't impressed: we expected more for the price, but oh well. I guess you can't have it all. read more

I love eating here. This place is so nice for dates they will customize anniversary desserts. The Italian food here is amazing and the drinks are pretty well priced as well. Would recommend pizza and pasta is the best. The grocery store is also super cool that it's attached to the store. read more

I'm in love with the ONE burger. I am quite a picky person when it comes to my burgers, of how they're cooked to the condiments and especially sides. The ONE burger here is wagyu beef cooked to the perfect tenderness and with the side of truffle fries for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend trying this from here! read more

Our host made a reservation which was required I believe. The market/bakery side wasn't open when we visited, but I would very much like to check it out when it is. Only outdoor seating was allowed when we visited. There is a large patio that accommodated at least forty patrons. We were seated as soon as our whole party arrived. The menu is Goldilocks-sized: not too big so that you wonder what they do well, nor too small so that people with dietary restrictions couldn't be accommodated. All eight pizze are $18. They are amply portioned with a variety of toppings. Antipasti range from $12 olives to a $26 mixed board. The pasta options were of a good serving size but pricey at $21 for the conchiglie all'arrabbiata to $32 for the lemon lobster and shrimp fettuccini. Our table and most of the ones around us needed take-out containers because we couldn't finish our dishes. The quattro formaggi pizza was a hit with our group, as were the assorted pasta dishes that we tried. On another visit I may be tempted by the sandwich offerings. Wine was on the spendy side, with some wines going for $17 for an 8oz glass (smaller than the standard 9oz pour). Peroni is $7.5 for a pint. Service was attentive but not intrusive. We were told at the outset that some dishes might take longer because they were short staffed on the date of our visit; the notice was appreciated. Staff had on properly adjusted masks at all times. Special mention for the accessibility features which were clearly part of the design. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are fully accessible, as was the large bathroom. Definitely worth a return visit when I'm next in the area. read more

Rabarbaro Salad - I'd pass on this next time. The description sounded much better than what was served. It wasn't bad - there just wasn't anything noteworthy about it. Bucatini with shrimp & bay scallops - The pasta was cooked perfectly - aldente, slightly firm and chewy. The sauce was spicy and full of flavour. My only complaint is the shrimp and scallops were overcooked and slightly rubbery. Margherita Pizza - Crispy dough, thin crust. A simple, fresh and clean tasting marinara ( I don't like when pizza sauce is over seasoned) - this sauce was perfect. I requested extra basil to lighten the dish and add brightness to it. Gelato - Weird. The texture was remarkably gritty and rough. We had two flavours and both were the same consistency so I don't think I tried it on an 'off' day. read more

Both the restaurant and grocery are amazing. Restaurant has unbelievable wood fired oven pizzas along with a diverse menu. Prices very reasonable. Wine and beer selection right up there with any place in Peterborough. The grocery is also to die for. Was meeting friends on a time crunch. Monday evening was supposedly quiet. We waited 15 minutes until one of us had to ask someone to serve us. No bread nothing while we waited. Watched the servers chatting to the cooks instead. Kurt took over the waiting graciously after we hailed for service. All of us ordered the chicken Parmesan. It was very chewy over fried chicken that tasted like it had not been defrosted. The noodles were good but that was all that was good in the meal. Considering I was the one who chose the spot I was disappointed. Been going to get their pastries focaccia and croissants in the mornings. These days croissants are never ready when they open either. The food here was absolutely disgusting and undercooked. there was long black hair on my dish. the food looked really disappointing and nothing like the photo on the menu. the service was absolutely terrible I only ever saw my waiter two times the entire time I was here. it took an hour for my food to arrive and it arrived cold and like I said disgusting and undercooked. this is the worst Italian restaurant I've been to I hope that waiter gets fired and I'm NEVER coming back. read more

Take out service is poorly organized. I recently placed an order for a pizza from the restaurant and the young hostess noted my name and cell number in the computer. She said that I would be texted a notice when ready, in 25 minutes. It was over an hour so I decided to return. I asked why she didn't texted and replied that she thought we would be back. The pizza was cold and looked unappealing. And expensive for the poor quality! I waited 15 minutes so the manager could refund my purchase. No apology from the hostess or manager. Sophisticated yet friendly, delicious and welcoming, this place is a dining gem in Peterborough and the Kawarthas. It has an attached bakery, cafe, deli and grocery. We sat in the fine dining area and enjoyed some amazing wood fired pizzas. It costs no more than a crappy chain restaurant would charge. Almost too awesome for this area! The prces have gone up this week ! Prices are ridiculous and portions are getting smaller. Such a shame because their baked goods are very good but not worth the price. The staff is excellent in the deli and should be paid more or at least be given benefits. Some have been looking for other work because they can't afford to work here. This will be a great loss for these owners! Get real and pay better! We certainly know you can afford to treat them better since you charge soooo much for your products. Also considering that you also own Wildfire golf course that also charge an arm and a leg for membership! You can and should give benefits and pay better. I am very aware of Prices rising every where but your prices have always been astronomical. Your products do not warrant the amount you have raised prices.Not to mention products are smaller. $6.50 for 8 tiny peanut butter cookies is insane. They are half the size they were last week. I also noticed the muffins are 2.75 a piece and they are also half the size that they used to be. This is is just gouging your customer. Did you think we would not notice smaller portions? My last visit was made yesterday and I have been a loyal customer for years. I am sure that I am not the only person that feels this way because there was a big conversation about portions and prices in the line of customers waiting. The restaurant is conveniently attached to a cafe and grocery store, and has a shaded outdoor patio. We decided to dine indoors, which had a very clean and modern look. Service was attentive and friendly. There were only 6 pastas on the menu to choose from, which seemed quite limited considering most of them were simple/basic dishes (ex: spaghetti & meatballs). My partner and I ordered the bucatini and ravioli pastas which were both very tasty and made with an al dente texture. The bucatini came with a decent amount of seafood whereas the ravioli could have had more filling. The place looks nice. Although..... We asked for unsweetened ice tea as it was in the drinks menu, and we got the sweetened one. They said its all they have. Well, they should remove it then from their menu. By the way the iced tea came with a small glass and mostly ice. Priced at $2.50 per glass. I orderd the Braised Pork Sugo as recommended by the waitress and actually telling me that its her favorite from the menu. The food was terribly bland. Didn't see any salt and pepper, or maybe they think that their food should be good as it is. So wrong. Sorry One Fine Food, my partner who had the spaghetti and meatballs was not happy as well, So I think your store brand doesnt reflect what you offer and its a bit pricey. Good food and service but a weird atmosphere. The restaurant is attached to a grocery store which sells you the products they use. But this adds a kind of cafeteria feel to the restaurant. I met some friends here for lunch, all of whom were first-time patrons. We were all very impressed with our meals. I had the pizza which was excellent and big enough to share. Friends had the fettucine and a chicken sandwich and all were completely satisfied. Just a small note regarding the wait staff however. They were not unfriendly but not overly friendly either...maybe lacking a little energy. Even so, they were definitely polite and efficient. We completed our meal with some delicious gelato. We ordered a Christmas dinner that was offered...the turkey was not cooked enough, and same for the rest of the meal. There was too much rosemary used as well. They called the next day to warn us after the fact that the meat was raw..,,,so I think we'll go elsewhere so as to not get food poisoning this year. read more
