Great spot. Must pay for street parking. Place is worth it. Great customer service. Fabulous food with large portions. In house roasted coffee is not bitter with a mellow intensity. I had two macchiatos that were excellent. Regular coffee was fantastic. Menu is unique and not cookie cutter type. Excellent location for a belated Mother's Day for the ladies in my family. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Large clean dining area. Would definitely repeat. Come & enjoy....
Stopped by on a Friday morning in a group of 5 around 11:30am. Had a little wait (signed up for the text messaging system) - we were told there'd be a ~30 min wait, but we were seated in around 10 min. Outdoor seating is great on a day with nice weather, indoor seating is very cozy and "modern diner"-eque. My friend who has been before said they expanded their seating area to accommodate more diners. I got the Jersey Madame ($19), which is a spinoff of a croque madame but with a stack of pancakes and a slice of pork roll. A bit steep in price, but tasty nevertheless. Filling thanks to the generous bechamel sauce. Friends got the huevos rancheros, yogurt bowl, and they enjoyed their food. Yogurt bowl came with lots of fresh fruit plated very prettily. Food and drink priced on the higher side (as expected in this neighborhood), but friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.
The sandwiches and mains here are DROOL WORTHY. I got the dip panino and oh my god, it was divine- very flavorful and the jus dripping dip added... je ne sais quoi. Others in my party got the burger and egg cheesesteak which were also tasty. The fries / potatoes were kind of dried out which is really the only negative thing I have to say, but we were late diners so that may be par for the course. Service was great and the cafe's vibes are lovely. I'm a visitor but will demand coming back on my next trip!
The food here is fresh and delicious! The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive! The prices were good for the quality and amount of food you get. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning!
What a fortunate find! We left Philly and headed to South Jersey to land on this spot. From the wait and the crowds, we knew this was the place to go. When we were finally seated we had a great waitress who shared her recommendations. We landed on the Eggs Benedict and the $19 BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE FRENCH TOAST, which is baked cinnamon & vanilla custard-soaked brioche, butterscotch apples; topped with brown butter oat streusel & Philly whip. Unbelievable. The place was loud and popping on a Sunday around noon. Not intimate, but a fun post-church gathering of hungry souls. Haddonfield itself is a cute little town with what appeared to be a lot of cute dining spots. We will definitely make this our pit stop on future NY - DC sojourns!
First time at Cafe Lift and will return soon! My friends and I met up for brunch on a Sunday. We had to wait 40 minutes for a table for 3, which was expected. I ordered the huevos rancheros and it was one of the best ones I ever had! The salsa on the side was very savory and the roasted red peppers and avocado complimented the meal. Just wish they would take reservations on the weekends because it gets very packed.
Café Lift was a solid and enjoyable brunch stop in downtown Haddonfield. We stopped in for a mid-morning brunch on a Monday and were seated right away. The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was genuinely pleasant from the start. Julian, our server, greeted us promptly, got coffee on the table quickly, and kept everything moving smoothly. In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee. Pricing felt very reasonable for the area, and overall it was a good stop we would happily return to.
4.5** Such a cute brunch spot!! Only came in for the coffee to go but the inside of the spot is absolutely stunning. I loved all the subtle nods to baseball, it was the cherry on top. Super nice service too! I ended up getting the iced honeysuckle latte and it was really yummy. Definitely would love to come back to try their food!
Brunch Date Bliss at Café Lift NJ After a midwife appointment, my husband and I treated ourselves to brunch at Café Lift in New Jersey, and it was such a memorable and delicious stop during our day. I been here before celebrating a friend's birthday, and then another time I had brunch with a friend too, so I definitely wanted my husband to experience this since we are big breakfast/brunch folk. I had the Street Corn Frittata, and it was everything I didn't know I needed -- fluffy egg whites layered with roasted corn, cotija cheese, avocado, and a smoky chipotle drizzle, served with warm tortillas and crispy home fries. It was bursting with flavor and felt hearty yet light -- like a comforting hug with a kick. My husband ordered the Breakfast Poutine, and it was indulgent in the best way -- a bowl of crispy waffle fries smothered in cheese sauce, topped with a fried egg and sliced red chilies for a little heat. Perfectly savory and satisfying. We shared the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and WOW. They were soft, tangy, just slightly sweet, and topped with powdered sugar and strawberries. A perfect ending to balance out the savory dishes. The vibe was relaxed, the service was quick and kind, and it made for the perfect post-appointment brunch date. Highly recommend Café Lift NJ for anyone looking for a spot that delivers bold flavors with a cozy, modern twist.
We stopped in for brunch shortly before noon and it was busy. We choose to sit outside because it was very noisy inside. The weather was nice in the mid 70's. Our waiter greeted us and was very cordial. My wife had a Nutella crepe and I had a crepe with eggs , bacon and cheese with a side of potatoes. She had a fruit juice drink. We were there just under an hour. The brunch ran just over $50 for the two of us. That's about right nowadays as there are no longer any sit down value meals. It
Visited Cafe Lift, in Haddonfield, N.J. today. We were meeting friends from Pennsylvania, so this was a midway point to meet. The place is trendy & family friendly. The menu had a lot to offer! There were 5 in our party. Each one enjoyed their breakfast. Afterwards walking around this quaint charming town was a treat & a great way to digest our hearty meals, before heading home & a long drive! Would definitely return & recommend this restaurant.
Mmm - table for 5, each of us ordered a different dish, and each of them was declared delicious. (Hot tip- always dine here with someone that will share!) It was a busy Saturday mid morning, but we enjoy the clamor and the bustle, and we shopped along the street while we waited to be seated. Our service was personable and timely, drink selection was good, the 20 something's in our party " liked the vibe" and we all enjoyed our brunch together.

My second time here and both have exceeded my expectations with the taste of my food. I got the mushroom toast that had truffle and an aioli on top of a sourdough bread and two poached eggs with French onions. It came with a dressed side salad. My friend had the Jens Crespel and she said it was delicious. The server was attentive and checked up on us. I highly recommend!! read more
Cute spot, very good service, unlimited coffee was very tasty. Food was quite good - the hollandaise on the mushroom toast was quite heavy and the toasted sourdough became quite soggy, but otherwise had a hearty mix of mushrooms. Jen's crespelle was fairly good as well - thin crepe with a side of potatoes. Music was spot on, would come back for the ambiance alone. read more

Everything about this place is 10/10 as long as you expect a wait time and loud noise. Food is incredible, service is always on point, and I always say "that was the best meal I've ever had." read more
Cafe Lift in south Jersey! A very good look. Nestled in the heart of Haddonfield's maint street, Cafe Lift offers of a delicious trendy breakfast /brunch without going over the bridge. It's cute and small with both indoor and outdoor seating. I came as a party of two on a good Sunday brunch afternoon and while it was busy we did not wait long for a table. The word on the block is that it's BYOB but no one was taking advantage of it when I went *whispers.. its ok bring the bottle no one will judge* we sat inside which is is a nice touch with small tables , counter seating, and take out. The table we sat at was too small for all we were having. We had the frittata which had the best jersey corn in it. It was really amazing. It came with a little greens on the side. We also had the lemon ricotta pancake and a side of regular pancakes. The side only comes with one pancake which I feel like should come with two. Anyway the lemon ricotta ones were not too big and not too filling. They were just right and tasted very good. We also had coffee in glorious glass mugs that were a cute touch. Would definitely come back especially if it means I won't have to go over the bridge for a good brunch. The staff were friendly and patient despite it being busy. read more

We came in on a Sunday around 2pm. Told it would be an hour wait and we're seated in 15mins? There was only two of us so please take that into consideration as the weather gets nicer. I immediately love the vibe inside the cafe, very clean, the staff were super friendly. I had the poutine which came with a delicious sausage gravy. My husband had a Sammy that I didn't have time to photograph. Overall 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming back to try other items. read more

Didn't look like much on the outside walking past it, but the ambience inside was super cute with a lot of pastel color themes and abstract geometric shapes. On a weekday late morning as a party of 3, we were seated right away at a table with the perfect amount of space, but it did get busier in the afternoon by the time we left. There were unique food options and combinations. I had the shakshuka, which was AMAZING. I was hesitant because it had lamb sausage and I'm not a big fan of sausage flavors, but it was subtle and went really well with the dish. I nearly finished my portion and was very satisfied. Friends had Jen's Crespelle - eggs and cheese in a crepe with strawberries on top. They were pleasantly surprised with how well the strawberries paired with the savory part of the dish. There are two unisex single person bathrooms with vacant/occupied signs on the locks and baby changing stations - super clean and brightly lit! read more

Probably best mushroom toast I've ever had! I was skeptical of this place because it is on the pricier side, but the portions were sizable and we had a great experience sitting outside. Our waitress recommended the mushroom toast cause there were a lot of things I was interested in, and I'm glad she did! Also got a side pancake and fennel sausage to try (both really tasty as well). Will be back next time I'm in haddonfield and would love to try their Philly location! read more

I was so excited to finally try this place and it did not disappoint! I met a friend for brunch and luckily only had to wait about 20 minutes or so for a table (pro tip: you can't make reservations, so be sure to allow yourself some time to put your name down and check out the surrounding shops while you wait!). The decor of this spot is so up my alley - touches of boho and a little whimsy. It was tough to make a decision of what I wanted for brunch since the menu is chock full of mouth watering options, but I ended up going with a Lavender London Fog and the breakfast poutine. The servings were plenty and the food was tasty. I did feel like there was something missing in the poutine, it was lacking a little bit in flavor, but definitely enjoyable nonetheless. Looking forward to trying more of their menu items! read more

Visited on a Friday morning around 8:20am. Was seated very quickly. Went with a friend and sister in law to spend some girls time during breakfast. Staff was very nice and attentive. Love how family friendly it is, the space was cozy, not too big and not too small, felt so at ease while here, which I love that feeling early in the morning. Certainly not loud even though there were few families with children. They also have out door space for the really nice days. -my friend ordered the cheesesteak and egg sandwich with potatoes, she loved the the sandwich but not the potatoes due to the strong rosemary taste, they seem to used fresh rosemary which is a plus but fresh one has a stronger taste and not enjoyable to most people. I tasted the potatoes and it really did have a strong rosemary taste. -Sister in law went simple, she ordered blueberries pancakes and 2 over medium eggs which she enjoyed. In her own word "regular blueberries pancake, nothing special" -I ordered Cannoli French toast, substitute bananas for strawberries, chocolate chips, brioche bread, cannoli filling and a side of 2 over medium eggs. I was scared to try because of the sweet but surprisingly it was not sweet at all, I actually needed to use the maple Syrup to give it a sweet touch. It was huge and I couldn't finish the whole thing. Ate half. I was satisfied and enjoyed it. Certainly I had better French toast else where but this was not bad, I could order it again. I love that we wasn't rush to leave, they kept giving us water jars whenever ours was empty. At some point I was like guys we should leave since it started to get packed and I didn't want to keep holding the table when we were done eating. Will certainly come back and try other food. read more

What a super cute place in an adorable little town! I stumbled upon Cafe Lift and I am so happy that I did. I would definitely visit again if I was in the area. Vibe: Michael and Jeniphur did a great job on the interior - casual, comfortable and chic. I loved being able to eat on the sidewalk outside. Service: Stef was great, super chill, very nice, helpful and attentive. Food: Loved the food. Had both the Mushroom Toast and Grain Bowl. The Mushroom Toast was my favorite - Poached eggs, toasted sourdough, roasted garlic aioli, mixed mushrooms, truffle oil, shaved pecorino, and crispy shallot. It was sooooooo good. I also enjoyed the Grain Bowl - Poached egg, faro, quinoa, corn, tomato, zucchini, chick peas, shishito peppers, greens, and curry vinaigrette. But I thought it was a little heavy on the Curry Vinaigrette. I also had the Iced Chai Latte, which was delicious and paired well with the Grain Bowl and Curry Vinaigrette. If you are in the area, you should definitely try Cafe Lift! read more

Incredible! Busy little cafe but it maintains a homely, friendly atmosphere. Very cute decor! The service is efficient, friendly, and accurate. They had given us a 30 minute wait on a Saturday mid-morning but fit us in within about 15 minutes. I had the huevos rancheros (asked for vegetarian) and it was great! Other people in my party got shakshuka, mushroom toast, and breakfast burrito. We all had only good things to say! We shared the nutty monkey crespelle at the end and that was the perfect sweet but light dessert for us! I'm not sure I would've liked the nutty monkey crespelle as much as a main meal though. The cafe had an interesting and quite extensive drinks selection which looked great but I'll have to return to try. read more

This is the new modern, trendy brunch spot in Haddonfield. Went for lunch with my and it was packed even on a weekday. Do people in Haddonfield even work? I got the poutine while my wife got the Huevos Rancheros and enjoyed a nice lunch outside. Food was slightly salty while the service was solid. It's just nice to have an alternative brunch spot in Haddonfield to compete with the Bistro but if you want a seat make sure you come early. read more

Cafe lift is beautifully decorated and well-planned out. I've visited the one in Philly and just as I said that I'd never return to that one, it's most likely the same with Haddonfield. The food was nothing to be awestruck about especially for price. I was recommended by our server to get the Lavender London Fog tea, I did, and it was underwhelming. The BF and I both ordered an entree and side. My entree was the Crespelle, which was good but nothing to rave over. My side was a lemon ricotta pancake which was undercooked in the middle (no it was not the ricotta). He ordered the Poutine which was actually very tasty. For his side, the crab bisque which was pretty much severely over salted/seasoned tomato soup with crabmeat added. So would I return? Maybe, simply because I'd like to try their French toast options. read more

Wonderful experience here this past weekend. I came for a girls brunch (total 5 adults and 1 child). We arrived at approximately 1230p and were quoted a 45 min wait. Our wait time was exact and we had a place to sit inside while we waited. Once seated the server was prompt and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We tried to many dishes and none disappointed! Highlights for me was the Shakshuka (packed with flavor and perfect for fall), Lemon Ricotta Pancake (not too sweet and not too lemony), and Pistachio Cortado. My friends had dishes such as the Avocado Toast, Breakfast Burrito, Eggs Florentine, Poutine Fries, and Butterscotch Apple French Toast. The only thing we didn't care for was the Lavender London Fog. This place is BYOB so we came with plenty of Prosecco and champagne in tow and they provided carafes (OJ, Grapefruit, Cranberry). For all of us girls the bill only came to about $40 each which I think was a steal considering how much we tried on the menu. Overall I would rate this place a 9/10 only downside is they don't do reservations. read more

More like 4.5 stars. Went on a Monday late morning/brunch and was not disappointed. I got drip coffee and the lemon ricotta pancakes which were delicious. My husband went with the 2 eggs your way special and I've never seen more beautiful, fluffy scrambled eggs. The decor is cute and welcoming. The service was a little slow but they were busy (even on a Monday)! Definitely will go back to try some of the rest of their menu, it all looked so good! read more
