I've always heard good things about this restaurant so we finally tried it for my husband's…read morebirthday breakfast. It did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. Service was quick in spite of the line at the door we've been back several times and have always had good service and great food!

Danielle liked her pickle-chicken sandwich and seemed disappointed that i don't want to go back, so i'll probably have to relent at some point and just get French Toast and go into diabetic shock. oooohh, i forgot. i also ordered a cup of the corn chowder (soup of the day). it wasn't great and corn was the least plentiful ingredient in it. i'd call it more of a potato and bacon chowder w/ corn casually tossed in.

Check Please Cafe - This chocolate peanut butter pie (sugar-gluten free) satisfied my friend's dietary requirements. I would have gone the "traditional" route!

The first time I visited we had a horrible experience. After calling and making reservations in…read moreadvance for 8 we were quickly seated but had to wait over 2 hours for our food. Being there with 3 young children this was unacceptable. The waitress said sorry for the wait and then gave us the bill with no discounts or consideration for the lengthy wait. I had already walked out to the car and the manager happened to approach some of our group and offered us gift cards for the inconvenience. Bc of this I withheld reviewing until we could visit at another time. Considering the food was pretty good for a local place. I had tried the salmon blt. On our second visit we went on a Thursday evening and it happened to be $2 taco night. It was great for the kids. We ordered a tortilla chip trio with salsa, guacamole and cheese dip. The tacos came with meat and cheese with lettuce on the side. On request you could also have a side of sour cream, pico and salsa. Overall a much better experience. The outdoor area was very nice and the staff was very attentive and great with bringing plastic plates and extra napkins for the kids without us asking. Glad we came back to give them another try.

I love soft pretzels and this one was delicious. It was huge! The cheese wasn't great for dipping though, it seemed to settle pretty quick. I also had the mozzarella sticks which were good. We expected it to be pretty busy since it was trivia night but it wasn't crowded at all. We had so much fun for trivia night. We won both games and loved the prizes of the shirts, coozies, and gift card. We definitely want to go back again for trivia night.

Had an excellent dining experience here during a recent trip to Oberlin for a Frank Llyod Wright…read morehouse tour. Place was not super-busy when I arrived, and the service was pleasant and prompt. I ordered a very reasonably priced beer and settled in as I awaited my burger and fries. They have a very extensive pub style menu, so there are options sure to satisfy just about everyone in your party. I ordered their brisket burger with a side of fries. When it arrived, I was blown away by the size! This brisket burger was pretty sloppy, but delicious...only knock was that the bun did not hold up well to all the toppings: beef patty, onion spread, bacon, cheddar cheese sauce, BBQ smoked brisket and a fried onion ring. It was however, cooked to a nice medium rare (just the way I like it). Also, the fresh cut fries were cooked just right and very crispy. Full to the gills, I made my way to the FLW house trying not to fall asleep from my heavenly food coma.
