Food potions were great. My husband and I shared a beef bulgogi which came with a side of rice. We ordered an extra side of rice and split bulgogi plate. We also got banchan which was free & had a great variety! They are affiliated with Korean restaurant from NE side of town which is also excellent: I wish this restaurant much success food was fresh and delicious.

This is an authentic and great hole in the wall type of restaurant. You can taste iconic dishes like bibimbap, bulgogi, and Korean BBQ. These dishes all offer a great introduction to the bold flavors and unique spices of Korean cuisine and Cafe Korea offer delicious food. The service is rapid and efficient. Nothing too fancy but very pleasant. Will definitely be back this is a real gem for El Paso.

This place gave me mixed feelings. I love Korean food, so it had been on my radar since it opened up on the East side of town. We previously tried landing some, but it was packed and had a wait time. That's a good sign right? We went back and finally landed it for lunch. The location was super hot, not to mention when we ordered 2 waters we were given 2 water bottles priced at 2.99, huge red flag. I asked our server for tap and she said they had none. Pretty upsetting considering the sweltering conditions inside. She took our order and proceeded to bring us some complimentary sides like kimchi, tofu, etc in small ketchup like containers, enough for one or two tastes per side. Asked for additional kimchi and it seemed like it was such a burden on them to refill the small containers. They brought out our food quite fast, really good flavor profiles. However our waitress didn't check up on us for the next 30 mins after. Horrible service, horrible climate, alright food. Each of our plates were valued at around 20-25 usd and the portions were so small. Quite disappointing. Safe to say it's a one and done spot

Beef Big Meat with Broth Bulgogi

Delicious and huge portions! Will definitely be back again and again. So glad we have this on the east side

I was genuinely so impressed with all the dishes we ordered. The quality of the ingredients, the flavor, the great service - it all makes me want to go back. They also have a nice vintage Korean vibe in the restaurant, they have tv playing Kpop music and nice decorations. My favorite was the Korean bbq beef with the unlimited amount of all the side vegetables.

Average quality of Korean food IMO. Tho it's close to the airport, it's still not too busy. Order quick and serves quick too. I'm just visiting here and not sure about how things usually go here.. but only providing bottle water and Charged tea is going a bit too far I feel like?

Our first time eating at Cafe Korea and it did not disappoint! We were attended to almost immediately and the food came out so fast and steaming. The food was delicious!! Will definitely go again!

The place to go in El Paso for spicy beef soup. The service is always amazing and the three little doughnut hole treats at the end always make my day. The bulgogi is a must! And so is the seafood pancake. I think I've eaten here once a month for a year now, it's that amazing.

Bulgogi Grilled Beef and Beef Ribs along with Bonchan dishes, eggrolls. Everything was delicious! The meat was flavorful and tender. The waiter and waitresses are very customer focused. Bo Chan dishes have free refills. We did not leave hungry! We'll be back.

If you're craving Korean food in El Paso, Cafe Korea is the place to go. First of all, the service here is excellent! Our group was greeted right as we walked in, and our waitress was very friendly and brought our food out quickly. We started with the banchan, which consisted of 7 dishes with an impressive variety of flavors. I don't know the names, but my favorites were the fish cakes, cucumbers, and cold noodles. We also shared the seafood pancake appetizer, which was a bit expensive but very tasty. For the main course we ordered the bulgogi (beef), and while I did enjoy it the meat was slightly dry, and the flavor was good but not as strong as we are used to. We also ordered the subdubu, or "spicy stew containing soft tofu" with beef, which I had never tried before. It was delicious! The tofu in the stew was the softest I've ever had, and the broth itself was filling without being too heavy. I highly recommend this spot for a dinner out with friends!

Tteokbokki

My first Korean food in El Paso. Having grown up in Los Angeles, I had access to some of the best Korean food outside of Korea. Cafe Korea was a reminder of how comforting home cooked Korean food can be. We started with the tteokbokki. It had a great flavor and amount of spice. It was a particularly cold night so I got the soon tofu with beef. It was an incredibly generous serving! The side dishes were great, and when I requested more kimchi, the server brought a heaping amount! Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu when I get homesick

Food is excellent but a little bit pricey. But portion sizes are very good & it's an experience too, so not bad for the occasional treat.

The restaurant is spacious, plenty of seating for smaller or even large parties. The employee at the register was so good! He was very personable, kind, and informative. He gave us the rundown of the menu, gave his input on what was popular, and really made us feel welcome. We loved it. To eat I ordered the "Combo Bop," the option with 2 proteins, rice, noodles, cabbage and Cupbop's awesome sauce. I decided to order B Bop (Beef) and Mandoo (Potstickers) as my proteins. My chosen sauce level was "5." It was very good!! The beef was tender, potstickers were also tasty. Mixing all of the foods with the sauce made it all to be very delicious. The cup by itself left me satisfied, it's a good portion of food! We really enjoyed reading up on the restaurant's history too. If I remember correctly their story was on the wall. Definitely would come back!! And definitely recommend this place for anyone!

The food showed up and unfortunately there bowls were brought without any sauce on the side. The bowls I ordered were either Katsu chicken and beef and the beef was flavorful but other than that the rest of the bowl was extremely bland. I know the sauces would have made a huge difference so whoever does an online order needs to pay attention to direction.

We both wanted to try their food since it's hard to find Thai establishments out here in El Paso. I'm from SoCal and there were plenty of options where I lived. Flame Thai is a pretty big restaurant when you walk in. They have plenty of seating for their customers which is nice. The decor is very sparse and two out of the 3 tv screens up at the front were not working. They allowed us to pick where we wanted to sit and we chose one of the booths. Right away I noticed part of the crown molding on the wall was missing. The overall visual appeal of the restaurant could use some tlc or a whole new revamp. For the positives: our waiter was friendly and attentive. He came to check up on us a couple times throughout our meal which was nice. Their Thai tea came in pretty big glasses and tasted good! Tasted like the bottled Thai tea I used to get from the market. I did like their crab Rangoon for appetizer, it was fried perfectly and the sauce for dipping was tasty! I also ordered the red curry and requested extra curry sauce. The portion was huge and enough for two people. They also got the spice level perfectly. The negatives were the beef bowl my husband ordered. He said it was very bland and had virtually no flavor. It also looked more like a salad bowl with how much lettuce they filled it with. The biggest disappointment was their pad Thai. That is one of my favorite Thai dishes and they managed to mess it up. For some reason it tasted more like sweet and sour noodles rather than pad Thai. I did not taste any fish sauce at all in the dish. It make me think of orange chicken sauce mixed with rice noodles. Not very tasty at all and I was left disappointed. Pad Thai is one of the most common dishes you find at Thai restaurants so I'm not sure how they managed to screw it up so badly. Lastly, the price of everything was over $80. Which both my husband and I did not think was worth the quality of food we got. Very expensive for subpar dishes. Not even the crab Rangoon or red curry could make it worth the price. We most likely would not return but I'm glad the whole meal wasn't a busy. They had a couple decent dishes but the ones they messed up just couldn't justify the price paid.
