I have been spoiled by Kalbi house. I brought my kids and they were also unimpressed. Not the same appetizers we usually order, no kimbap or veggie pancakes. They also didn't have any of the soup bases ready when we went at lunch,, and that's the reason we went. Won't go back. read more

Banchan choices better than at other places and if you finish them they offer to give you more...We tried one of the grilled meats and it came with an egg soufflé as a side which was AMAZING... All in all I thought it was good. By the previous reviews going in I thought the price would be lower. I have to admit I had sticker shock when I saw the menu. Two dollar signs means expensive here. Especially, if you are going with the traditional meat and hot plate option that you customarily get in Korea. My group all too the "boxes". That was about $9 for lunch. It's certainly enough food to consume. For most visually hungry Americans it may appear small. It's not, it's enough. It's nice having a Korean option. The irony is there is an old saying, "it's good but I wouldn't write home about it", and here I am writing home. LoL. read more

I would like to say that I am a huge Korean food fan. From the soups to beef items grilled or broiled I love it all. I ordered from Café Korea on Grubhub and needed some thing to eat for dinner. For the most part I got what I was looking for I got the simple or Bol Gul Gi and rice with fried vegi Dumplings and it suited my taste. I will say that it would've been a lot better if we eat the food in the restaurant but as far as a late night snack at work. The portions were Plenty and I had enough for breakfast the next morning. I will say I would've gave in this order a higher score if I ate in the restaurant being that it was delivered he gets a three. read more

The stone bowl cooked bibibap was ok. I don't think I have ever had lettuce in bibibap, but I think it was something they added? Being Korean, I would have loved to have Korean banchans, however I think my sides were not what I expected. They were not spicy and super sweet. I did have great service. We went there because our favorite KALBI House across the street was closed on Monday. Sad to say it was the biggest mistake in our lives. In the past, we eat Korean food for lunch and we do not need to eat anything for dinner. Today, we ate a bunch of vegetables for 46 dollars and we had to eat other stuff to survive our hunger. This has always been my favorite Korean spot in El Paso. It was closed for a while so I'm unsure if they are under new management or they were just doing some renovations. They said they opened Feb 19 so I'm completely excited I came back for a little bit. They changed the menu as well. They have Korean BBQ and Noodles. Highway Robbery!! Rip-off prices and small portions!! We went to this place and were going to have the galbi ribs until we saw the $30 price which used to be $14. Also you only get 4 of the small plates instead of the 10 they used to give you. We choose to have a $16 soup which looked like an anorexic soup with 6 small pieces of meat and a small number of noodles. It was mostly water! The prices are ridiculous and the portions are very small. This place is not worth the trip and is a rip-off. We also got diarrhea from the food. We will never return and would not recommend it considering the high prices, small portions, no flavor and the diarrhea. read more

The tteok-bokki was delicious; I highly recommend you order YakiMandu with it. Japchae was also delicious. My girl loved her bulgogi lunchbox. Their side dishes are amazing (our favorites were the potato, kimchee and cucumber kimchee). The restaurant was clean and very open spaced. We ate all the side dishes that come with the order. It is all delicious. I have no complaints to give. The facility is very clean and I noticed how spacious the area is in between tables. Ask for the Barley tea. They brew it fresh upon order. I highly recommend this place as this is one of the top Korean restaurants in my opinion in El Paso. Please see photos. Service as good and quick. I did take-out with the spicy tofu soup, as well as sweet and chili chicken. This came with all the side dishes (as you would get when eating at a typical korean bbq place), which was very nice!! All the side dishes were really good. I specifically enjoyed the spicy tofu soup, as there was a GOOD amount of soft tofu in there. Like a lot. With 1 shrimp and 2 clams. That had to be my favorite dish. The sweet and chili chicken was underwhelming. The flavor wasn't anything special. There was too much coating for my taste. It was very similar to Chinese take-out fried chicken. We're hungry and saw Cafe Korea so we tried it before heading to Walmart nearby. First off when you enter there's a weird smell in the place, the menu is overpriced but we thought that it will be worth it. We ordered Dolpan Bulgogi Bibimpab, the quality is poor and quantity is less for the price. The complimentary side dishes they gave us was not even on side plates/ bowls and only 3 choices, and the soup is cold, if they practice Covid precautions then they would have use even disposable plates and utensils for customers. I have been around LA, that usually eat at Korean Food places and i can tell that this is not good especially for the price of one item in the menu. The server is really nice but then she is not much knowledgeable of the menu. I do not understand why this place gets good reviews it's not genuine but with all honesty and experience, I am disappointed of this place and I will never come back and recommend. read more

Awesome Korean restaurant in El Paso. Came here before the renovation and it was pretty meh. But now, the food is great, the service is great, and the seating is great. My friend and I were craving Korean cold noodles since the weather started getting hotter. We got the spicy one (without broth) and the regular one (icy broth). Both were pretty good (you can ask for vinegar and mustard to refine it to your taste). We got the combo, which came with Korean bbq ribs. The ribs were bomb! Amazing restaurant. My family and I go every other week. As soon as you walk in you feel comfortable. The staff is amazing and quick. I've been a regular customer for the last year and one server remembers us every time we're there and remembers all of our orders. The food is as good as the customer service is. They have a number of dishes to chose from and each is amazing. Their ramen and japchae are my favorites. The constantly get their miso soup to take home with me whenever I'm not feeling well or when it's cold. I highly recommend if you are looking for authentic korean food. read more
