Very cool "new" spot off dyer in the NE! Tommy owns it, it's an express kinda place (fast), and it's Korean. They make a lot of bowls and you can customize how you want it, but if I'm being honest I'm there for the RAMEN! Absolutely love it, loved it living in Korea all 3 times, still love it here in EPTX. They have many options and flavors and styles (Japanese and Korean), but as far as instant stuff goes, SHIN Ramen is my go-to. Service is fast and friendly. Ambiance is clean and easy!

I ordered tteokbokki ..... this is worse tteokbokki I ever ate looks like soup it's not supposed to look like this and rice cake was hard not fresh at all I pay $10 for like 12 rice cake....? ridiculous

I got the bowl with noodles, pork, and added other items with the bibim sauce and it was all great! The ramen bar looks neat but I didn't try it. The mango juice was great as well. The service was fantastic, the staff was helpful with explaining everything from the beginning. I'm not sure if he was the manager but he came over to ask how everything was and brought us tops to our bowls and even informed us on how to warm up our food for it to taste best. We will definitely return!

Jab Chae, chicken mix, 2x red cabbage, 2x carrots, mushrooms, egg, + green cabbage and cilantro from ramen bar. HM soy sauce.

Wow, some of these reviews though... would make you think that this was the best place this side of the Atlantic, lol. No, it's decent, nothing special. First of all, this is like a fast food Korean place...thus Tommy's "Express". Like a typical Asian "bowl" place, you pick your base, protein, and veggies, then sauce, if desired. So it's fast, if there isn't a line. The base noodles are Jab Chae noodles, which I love, and are hard to find anywhere but Korean restaurants, and not all "Asian bowl" or Korean places have it. They are really skimpy on the veggies, but you can ask for more... but they are still skimpy. The ramen bar (see below) has some different veggies, which I helped myself to for my Jab Chae bowl. There is a ramen "bar" for you to prepare your own ramen from dried noodles, if you prefer that. It seems like something you'd find in a 7-11 or Circle K, but hyped up 10x. There's plenty of instructions on how to heat it up, and there's also a "help yourself" bar with veggies. The food is decent, again, nothing special. The owner(s) was super nice and helpful. Super atmosphere. I drove from Las Cruces for this, on a Sunday (no other day would make sense when we have the best Korean Bowl place this side of the Atlantic!! And it is closed on Sundays!). If we were in town, in that particular area, for some other reason, it's a possibility, but otherwise, we're not going out of our way for it again. There're other places in town we're more likely to travel for.

This is my first time at Tommy's Korean Express. Everything is amazing!! The owner and the chef are very friendly. All the staff are knowledgeable. You can build your own kimbop bowl or have a preset bowl made. They also have a build your own ramen bar. The food is delicious. I tried a build your own kimbop bowl with spicy pork and fried rice. It was well seasoned and spicy. I had a peach smoothie drink, which was sweet and refreshing and calmed down the spicy-ness. The ambiance is super minimalistic and modern. Everyone is super friendly. They also have some Korean drinks and snacks. If you are a fan of Korean food or just willing to to try something new. I high recommend checking out Tommy's Korean Express!! I will definitely be back again this week!!

#1 thing that stood out- the customer service! The owner waiting on everyone coming in and having them understand how to order. That was so helpful and made it seem like a mom n pop feel. #2 Food is amazing!!! Every item added into the bowl is soooo good made w love. You gotta try it l. I will go next time for Ramen.

Save your money, and stomach! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. For starters TikTok is not what it makes it seem at all! The instructions on the ramen area is unclear. Which is why people want to come here for the "experience" but no bowls in sight, employees look like they hate their jobs. When asked for help everyone there was useless. The entire bowl was cold, the egg was disgusting the "smoothies" were expired. Gave me, and my family food poisoning. Waste of money, straight dog sh*t food.

This place is awesome. There's so many options of bibimbap, kimbap, and ramen. Service is quick and fast, it's like Korean chipotle. Also it's a casual place, great to hangout with friends

Should've taken a picture before I mixed it, but seriously sooooo delicious!! 10/10!! A win for the NE!

The salad was a nice appetizer. We wished we had this back home. The dressing tasted peanutty with black sesame seeds and a nice acid balance. Kaemada's Ramen has El Paso influences. The broth had full bodied flavor, the meat was cut thicker with grilled char! Please also try the Birrea Ramen! We eat Birria broth and tacos at home and this ramen bowl was a great marriage of the 2 dishes. The thick cut and grilled char feature was also included in the pork bun.
