This cafe is always busy and one of the main reasons is the excellent food they serve. My husband got some eggs with an avocado toast and I got a grilled chicken salad and both items were delicious and well made. Our server was really friendly and funny. Their dining room is not very big but they do have two sections, one close to the bar and one in a separate room. We got a table right by the large front window and that was perfect to see the sights of Provincetown from our vantage point.

If you are at the gates of Heaven, the restaurant will provide you with a decent meal. Staff here are pretty chatty and that contributes to the ambiance. The meals pretty solid depending on what you order. I recommend you sit at the bar where the gossip flows.

We spent a week in P-Town, Cafe Heaven was our favorite restaurant by far! We had dinner twice and breakfast once, we would have eaten breakfast a second time but there was a long wait. The food and service were amazing... we had the Lobstertini as an appetizer, Portuguese Pork Chop with Clams Alentejana and Tuscan Cod. Breakfast was delicious too!

After a bunch of locals recommended this place I was excited to try, but was disappointed. Ordered an omelette with feta and spinach. As you can see from the picture the spinach was barely cooked and it ruined the meal for me. The home fries were okay. The cornbread was honestly the best thing I ate. The service really made the experience better. The server was super attentive and friendly. There's a bar and a bunch of seating inside. It's a nice restaurant, but wish the food was better. There isn't any parking. I recommend walking over if you're staying nearby.

The most delicious English muffin I've ever had. I cannot stress this enough, that English muffin was life changing. The bartender was so friendly and helpful. He anticipated my needs. We were offered coffee and ketchup and hot sauce all without asking. There was a little bit of a wait but there's lots of things to do while you wait. Picture is half eaten because I couldn't wait

We stopped by for a sit down breakfast this morning. Our server was really good at helping out with some questions that we had with on one of the specials. Our food came out fast and it was great. The cinnamon roll French toast. It wasn't glazed so it wasn't overly sweet. It was topped with fresh fruit so along with all those carbs, we did have some healthiness! On the flip side, the corned beef hash was not as healthy but it tasted really good. Kinda different with poached eggs but still good nonetheless. Coffee was passable and bottomless. We are thinking of coming back here tomorrow.

One of my favorite places for breakfast in town. Plenty of options for everyone and staff is always so nice. Highly recommended

    Lobster Eggs Benedict

We got the lobster eggs Benedict which, although a bit pricey, were also very tasty. In particular, the hollandaise sauce was very memorable. The service was great! Our server was an energetic older lady and we enjoyed chatting with her. When we got there, there was a ~15 minute wait which went by pretty quickly as we perused some of the surrounding shops. Naturally, this meant the restaurant was busy and lively - always a good sign. Good food and good service 4/5

We can back up their opinion as a place well worth patronizing. There is a bustling and lively atmosphere in an informal and very pleasant space. The room was packed with different types of people enjoying their meals. Three of us had cocktails- the fourth does not drink. The order included a cucumber lemonade, two Honey Bear Toddys, (just right for the cold weather), and a nonalcoholic beer. We also had glasses of house red (a Malbec) and a Sauvion Blanc. We shared two appetizers: mussels and cheesy garlic bread, both of which were excellent. The main courses were a Cod Florentine (nicely cooked but a little bland for me but enjoyed by our daughter), a good Sausage Orecchiette for-me which I could only eat half of it, an excellent grilled salmon and an equally good shepherd's pie. I also ordered a side of fries which was overkill. And no one had any room for dessert. Our server was attentive and efficient. The check came to $232 not including the service charge. It is over the four stars that I gave and just under a five star rating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives or visits the area.

It might even be our new favorite. My family ordered the deviled eggs, which I got to try and I ordered a cheeseburger with french fries. I had never heard of a restaurant using shredded cheese on a burger so that was a unique experience. It was still good though. I asked for my burger cooked rare and they did just that. The meat was seasoned pretty well and the french fries hit the spot. I ordered two diet cokes that went down FAST and really washed everything down. I was happy with the service and I love that it's an LGBTQ+ owned business. The history of the restaurant is really sweet and I've heard that the owners of the restaurant will even come out to say hi to you if you ask to meet them. Overall it was a great dining experience and I would love to try more items on the menu in the future.

All the sandwiches came w chips except the burger was served with good fries. For dessert we shared the praline sundae and peach and blackberry cobbler. Both were incredible. It's always on our list of recommended dine-in spots when friends/family visit Provincetown. We got TAKEOUT for the first time tonight and were impressed enough to write a review. Originally from Ponte de Lima in the north of Portugal, Silva immigrated to the United States in late 1972. She would eventually settle in Provincetown, which at one time had a large Portuguese immigrant population. It was difficult at first to learn a new language and customs, but eventually she found her niche working as a baker and teaching English to Portuguese immigrant children. In the late 1990s, an ice cream parlor by the beach went up for sale. Silva decided to purchase it and make it her own business. Today the café is open for breakfast and lunch and serves an array of fresh baked goods, sandwiches, wraps, salads, smoothies, coffees, and shakes. Staying true to the roots of the business, Silva also continues to proudly serve Gifford's Ice Cream at the café. My family and I visited Café Maria on our recent week-long trip to the Cape. We spent the third day of our trip entirely in Provincetown. Before embarking on an early morning Whale Watch cruise, we decided to see if there were any good places nearby to grab a quick breakfast. Café Maria had great recommendations on Yelp so we decided to stop there. For coffee, my sister-in-law had an Iced Caramel Latte while I had a Hot Mocha. Both drinks were very flavorful and quickly woke us up for a day of fun activities. For food, we all decided to get some breakfast sandwiches. We opted to get them served on Portuguese Muffins, which are similar to English Muffins but much sweeter and fluffier. My wife had "Eggs, Cheese & Sausage", our son had "Eggs, Cheese & Bacon", sister-in-law had "Eggs & Cheese", and I had "Eggs, Cheese & Linguiça". These were excellent breakfast sandwiches and we were all happy with our choices! If you're looking for a cheap and quick breakfast or lunch in Provincetown then look no further than Café Maria!
