Bartender Steve is the MAN. Hooked it up this morning. Got a yummy mocktail going for us, and then we plowed through the lobster hash, crab cake, french toast (good call on the 1/2 order, Super Steve) and fish sandwich. My guy also offered up a ton of local insights - hella helpful for a couple of tourists like us. If you go to Cafe Heaven, ask for Steve!! [Honorable mention: jeanMarc, for holding it down at the front gate.]

Came here for breakfast and its a cute small place with super friendly service. I ended up getting their special of the day which was a lamb hash and it was quite tasty - similar to a gyro with eggs. Would recommend. I like that my coffee was refilled, our waters were always topped off and the food was great. Would come back again for breakfast!

I came to Cafe Heaven this morning for breakfast and grabbed a seat at the bar. The first thing I noticed was that this was obviously a very local spot because my server, Aaron, knew just about everyone who came in to sit down by name. They had a fun little infuser for my green tea, and I ordered the Mexican scramble. The dish came out quickly and tasted very fresh, with a wonderful dose of avocado among the black beans and eggs. It comes with breakfast potatoes and cornbread that I REALLY enjoyed. This was a great way to start off my morning and I would be happy to come back.

This cafe is always busy and one of the main reasons is the excellent food they serve. My husband got some eggs with an avocado toast and I got a grilled chicken salad and both items were delicious and well made. Our server was really friendly and funny. Their dining room is not very big but they do have two sections, one close to the bar and one in a separate room. We got a table right by the large front window and that was perfect to see the sights of Provincetown from our vantage point.

If you are at the gates of Heaven, the restaurant will provide you with a decent meal. Staff here are pretty chatty and that contributes to the ambiance. The meals pretty solid depending on what you order. I recommend you sit at the bar where the gossip flows.

We spent a week in P-Town, Cafe Heaven was our favorite restaurant by far! We had dinner twice and breakfast once, we would have eaten breakfast a second time but there was a long wait. The food and service were amazing... we had the Lobstertini as an appetizer, Portuguese Pork Chop with Clams Alentejana and Tuscan Cod. Breakfast was delicious too!

After a bunch of locals recommended this place I was excited to try, but was disappointed. Ordered an omelette with feta and spinach. As you can see from the picture the spinach was barely cooked and it ruined the meal for me. The home fries were okay. The cornbread was honestly the best thing I ate. The service really made the experience better. The server was super attentive and friendly. There's a bar and a bunch of seating inside. It's a nice restaurant, but wish the food was better. There isn't any parking. I recommend walking over if you're staying nearby.

We stopped by for a sit down breakfast this morning. Our server was really good at helping out with some questions that we had with on one of the specials. Our food came out fast and it was great. The cinnamon roll French toast. It wasn't glazed so it wasn't overly sweet. It was topped with fresh fruit so along with all those carbs, we did have some healthiness! On the flip side, the corned beef hash was not as healthy but it tasted really good. Kinda different with poached eggs but still good nonetheless. Coffee was passable and bottomless. We are thinking of coming back here tomorrow.

The most delicious English muffin I've ever had. I cannot stress this enough, that English muffin was life changing. The bartender was so friendly and helpful. He anticipated my needs. We were offered coffee and ketchup and hot sauce all without asking. There was a little bit of a wait but there's lots of things to do while you wait. Picture is half eaten because I couldn't wait

Had dinner this week at Cafe Heaven - it's a mandatory stop when we're in PTown. Fantastic as always. Try the Tuscan Cod!

It might even be our new favorite. My family ordered the deviled eggs, which I got to try and I ordered a cheeseburger with french fries. I had never heard of a restaurant using shredded cheese on a burger so that was a unique experience. It was still good though. I asked for my burger cooked rare and they did just that. The meat was seasoned pretty well and the french fries hit the spot. I ordered two diet cokes that went down FAST and really washed everything down. I was happy with the service and I love that it's an LGBTQ+ owned business. The history of the restaurant is really sweet and I've heard that the owners of the restaurant will even come out to say hi to you if you ask to meet them. Overall it was a great dining experience and I would love to try more items on the menu in the future.

The chopped italian salad was also really good. We highly recommend the salads! Next we had sandwiches for our meal. The cod bahn mi was very light and refreshing. The burger was massive and also quite tasty. I had the chicken sandwich and it was very good but a little too spicy for me. All the sandwiches came w chips except the burger was served with good fries. For dessert we shared the praline sundae and peach and blackberry cobbler. Both were incredible. Service was attentive and warm! Eli was our server and deserves all 5 stars as do the bussers who kept our waters filled and table clean

Next, we shared the Cape Cod Fish Fry and it was perfect. The fish was fresh and the batter was crisp but not greasy. It was possibly the best mixed fried seafood plate I've had so far. I also had a glass of white wine, which was good. The bartender was attentive and nice. The interior was cool and cozy. I would definitely return to this place.

EXTREMELY DISTURBING EXPERIENCE WITH THE WAITER!…read more This took place around 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 4. Our group consisted of three couples dining together. At the end of the meal, we asked if the bill could be split into thirds. Our waiter, Martin P., told us that he would not split the check and instead instructed us to write down exactly what each person ordered so that he could charge us separately. Although no other restaurant we visited in Provincetown required us to do this, we followed his instructions and listed our individual items. When Martin returned, he was visibly upset and stated that our payments were approximately $70 short. There was confusion because our group was trying to determine who had already paid, who had not, and whether something had been missed in the calculations. I even asked whether we were expected to calculate individual tax amounts ourselves, as no one knew what tax would be for each separate charge. Rather than calmly helping us resolve the discrepancy, Martin began yelling at our group. At one point he stated, "If I don't get $70, I am going to charge one of the credit cards that I have." This immediately concerned us. We were not refusing to pay. We were actively trying to understand where the discrepancy occurred and make sure the restaurant received the full amount owed. To resolve the issue, one of my friends and I went with Martin into a back room to review the charges. After reviewing everything, my friend agreed to pay the remaining balance immediately. The payment was processed and the bill was fully paid. At that point I was trying to calm the situation and bring it to a close. Instead, Martin became even more agitated and began yelling profanities at us. He shouted, "Get the f*** out of my restaurant! It's people like you why we don't split checks! You all need to get the f*** out now!" Other people started noticing this go down. We were stunned. The bill had been paid. Nobody was attempting to leave without paying. We were simply trying to resolve a billing issue after following the waiter's instructions. As we were leaving, my wife later told me that Martin placed his HAND ON HER BACK and guided her toward the exit. While it was not forceful, it felt unnecessary and added to an already hostile and intimidating experience. What happened next is why I ultimately decided to write this review. A few days later, while walking through Provincetown looking for a place to have lunch, our group passed The Mayflower Food & Drink and noticed Martin working there. When he saw us, he deliberately tapped on the glass to get our attention. After making eye contact, he made a hand gesture across his neck and pointed for us to leave and keep walking. The original incident had already ended. The bill had been paid. Yet days later he still felt the need to single out our group and signal that we were unwelcome. Had this simply been confusion over a split check, I would not be writing this review. Billing mistakes happen. What I cannot overlook is being threatened with unauthorized credit card charges, being screamed at with profanity while attempting to resolve the issue, being ordered out after the bill had been paid, Martin touching my wife, and then encountering the same employee days later making a gesture directed at our group from another restaurant. This experience was troubling enough that I believe others should be aware of it.

Unfortunately, the show took a sharp turn when she shifted into a lengthy political rant that I found deeply divisive. One of the most disturbing moments for me was when she stated that Jewish people were "superior," pointing to the number of Jewish Nobel Prize winners as evidence. She also spoke about feeling safest in Israel because of armed IDF soldiers with guns and referenced Palestinians throwing gay people off buildings. To me, these remarks came across as excusing or justifying the devastating treatment and genocide of the Palestinian people, which I found deeply disturbing. Rather than feeling like comedy, it felt like a political lecture. Another moment I found particularly disappointing was what I perceived as transphobic humor. At one point, she joked, "What are we going to do now if someone says they want to fuck a sleeve? Are we going to include them in our community?" I found that remark dismissive of LGBTQ+ people. Rather than clever satire, it felt like a mocking punchline directed at a marginalized community. It was disappointing to see the performance shift from comedy to political and cultural commentary. I went to laugh, not to sit through a lengthy ideological monologue. I left there asking myself how a venue like the Post Office Cafe would choose to host a routine like this.
