The Kimchi spiced up the corn tortillas, egg and cheese with savory and tangy fermented cabbage. When my dog tried to drag me inside, I did not protest. Somehow he dragged me all the way to the counter and convinced me to order an espresso martini of my own. We then went back outside and asked a lovely couple (locals) if we could join them at their fire pit. They happily invited us to join. After chatting with them for quite a while, they departed and as we were trying to leave, another couple (travelers) stopped us to meet the pup. Obviously, we had to stay and order another. The next morning we went in for a coffee and blueberry muffin and sat on the patio for a bit. The couple from the night before walked by and greeted my dog by name (mine is obvi irrelevant). The woman at the register wasn't particularly warm or helpful, which made the experience even more frustrating. The saving grace? The sandwiches were genuinely, absolutely amazing. Lily & Kappa has real potential -- the food is worth the trip -- but the operations and customer service need some work before it can live up to the hype.
