We stopped here on our way through to Boston from Central New York. It is centrally located right next to the local college. I imagine the students are not back from break yet because it was a very quick in and out stop! There is plenty of seating. The two gentlemen working were very efficient. The man who took our order was extremely friendly! I would say the bagels are a little pricey but the sandwich did have 4 entire eggs on it, so probably worth it! It was huge. "This sandwich could fuel a warrior for many moons." - my boyfriend after eating the sandwich The bagels were different than what I am used to in CNY but they were still very good. The veggie cream cheese was particularly good - it had what appeared to be freshly chopped veggies mixed in which I really enjoyed. We would definitely stop back if we get the opportunity to in the future! read more

Still great food, but now they've redesigned the place and it looks and works better! Today I have the plumpest pumpernickel bagel with seeds on it, toasted him with butter, and a perfect Coffey! Try it out! read more

The Eden area is sparse, but the Employee was friendly. Arrived around 10 o'clock on a weekday and there were a choice of about six different bagels bunch of different cream cheese cheeses, as well as as freshly made breakfast sandwiches the sesame bagel with honey walnut cream cheese was perfect. The coffee is just OK grounds in the bottom of my cup. I would return here for bagels and possibly breakfast sandwich sandwiches. read more

Perfect bagels on our road trip. Kindest workers, best bagels, really good for the area. Actually the muffin was even better. New fav place

Love this place. Needham location is better than Framingham, but both solid bagel joins - especially the egg and cheese on a scooped bagel in Needham. read more

Went in today and was charged 5 dollars for 1 bagel & cream cheese. Price he charges does not match prices on menu board. Asked me if I would like to buy day old 1/2 dozen bagels for 6 dollars. Another person came in and he asked if he would like the day old 1/2 dozen bagels for 3 dollars. This guy makes up prices as he gos. The guy is a thief. No gloves used handling food and money. NEVER AGAIN read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Disgusting. Not wearing any gloves to prepare food and took money minutes before. I asked the lady to put gloves on and she gave me a dirty look and whispered to the man working with her. The guy only put on one glove and continued to make the sandwiches with his bare hand. Watched the lady make tuna salad and she literally used a dirty bowl and just mixed mayo and tuna together, nice..... Overpriced and guy was creepy, kept making comments as to why we wouldn't eat there etc. "oh you don't like me...you don't want to stay?" Sandwiches also said $10.50 on the wall menu but when I asked the guy why he charged $11 for each his response was "the tax and I have too much change I don't need more". Never going back. Disappointed and a waste of $30 for two sandwiches and two coffees. Dear board of health, close this location... read more

I don't understand how this place has such good reviews. The place looked visibly dirty. I asked for an everything bagel toasted with butter. It was barely toasted and tasted bland. I've never had a bland everything bagel in my life. I had one bite and threw it in the trash. Given the terrible bagel and the fact the entire place looked grungy and dirty, I'm never going back. read more

First off we've been coming here for a while. Never disappoint early morning bagel sandwiches especially an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese , lox, little onion toasted by far the best portions are huge. The egg sandwiches are also amazing. Wife stopped in here late over the weekend ready to close paid for 6 got 10 Owner is always busy and friendly. So support the local bagel shop. Buy a dozen grab cream cheese and sandwiches you won't regret it!!!!!! Don't just drive by stop by and grab some bagels now!!!! read more

My husband and I are from NYC and these are the closest we can find to their bagels. They are excellent and reminiscent of home. To top it all off, the owner is such a jolly and funny guy. He always makes us smile! Their breakfast sandwiches are huge, with very generous servings of meat, egg and cheese. Highly recommend a visit! read more

I did a phone order from out of state and Fandy was amazing with suggestions and help. He went above and beyond! I will definitely support this restaurant when I visit MA. read more

If you're a fan of unsanitary establishments and overpriced bagels, this is the place for you. Visited this morning around 11 and the place was empty. Ordered an everything bagel with bacon + chive cream cheese, and a bacon egg + cheese on a plain bagel. Aside from the fact that the bagels were tasteless and doughy (you're better off buying store-bought than coming here) the prices at this place are ridiculous for the quality. We were charged $17, $10 for the BEC and $7 for the bagel + cream cheese. We thought it was a mistake, as the menu hanging above the counter reflected much lower prices. When we asked the older man behind the counter if this was accurate, he said "experience the amount of bacon before you comment on price". The 'experience' was underwhelming and the bacon tasted like something you'd get at a 2-star continental breakfast. This place also looks like it hasn't been properly cleaned in months. The staff were handling money and then prepped food with no gloves. For what they charge, you'd think they could spare some $$ to hire a cleaning staff. Save yourself the trouble and visit NY Bagel Factory, or literally anywhere other than this place. Would give this 0 stars if it were an option. read more

Hygiene. Walked in on a Sunday and there were only 2 people in the shop. That should have been an indication. The counter person was hitting the knife he was planing to use on his dirty shirt while I was ordering. I decided against it. B read more

We stopped by while randomly in the area to run some errands. Very traditional shop, all the classic options. We got an everything bagel lightly toasted with chive cream cheese (bring on the bad breath). Oddly it wasn't cut in half. Schmear was a little on the light side but no naked spots. Nice size bagel, a little on the doughy side, but still tasty. The "bacon cream cheese" is plain cream cheese with fresh crumbled bacon on top. We got it on a toasted Asiago bagel and ya know what? I would do it again. It's a surprisingly delicious combo that I've never considered. read more

Meh. Got a bagel with butter and cream cheese. Was double toasted as I requested, but just okay. My friend got a breakfast bagel sandwich, looked decent. However, both came to $15. Seems way overpriced. Should have mentioned it to the cashier/owner. read more

Bagels are good but when it's busy, they sometimes mess up your order. We were assured there were sesame bagels as we asked for only to get back and find they weren't included! Went back and got them but definitely a bit frustrating. read more

The everything bagel was everything! I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich and couldn't have been happier after eating it. I would have liked more cheese throughout the sandwich. It felt like they only put cheese on one side of both the bagels I ordered. So might be something to look out for when you visit. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich if you're in the area. Really quick meal and is guaranteed to fill you up. read more

It's hard to please this NJ/NY transplant with any bagel from Massachusetts, but Cafe Fresh has the best bagels in the area. Our dozen was baked *perfectly* this morning for our Quarantine Mother's Day breakfast. Nice selection of everything (not too salty), cinnamon raisin, egg and plain bagels. I usually prefer my bagels toasty, but these were so fresh and delicious today there was no need. Thank you Cafe Fresh! read more

I have never written a review before. Very bad bagels, but I don't really care. Thanks to the creepy older man behind the counter, my ten year old daughters experienced their first taste of sexual harassment as we were trying to grab breakfast before a long drive. He looked my CHILDREN up and down, before commenting suggestively, "And for the young girls, free bagels if I get a hug and a kiss." Then he laughed menacingly, as they backed away in fear and confusion. "Oh see, they are moving away," he said, delighting in their discomfort. My spouse and I quickly got the girls out of there. Dumbfounded and disgusted, reliving a litany of my own childhood harassment experiences, I stood waiting for shitty bagels, navigating service that was incompetent and rude, in addition to predatory. Next time I'll take my shitty bagel without the side of rape culture, thank you very much! I hope folks who live nearby do the world a favor and boycott this place so children of the #metoo era don't have to deal with the shit I did 30 years ago! And by the way, come to the NY metro area to find out what a real bagel tastes like. read more

Awful bagels. No flavor. NY Bagel factory down route 9W is so much better. Elie's bagged bagels at Stop & Shop are better too.

Hands down the best bagel sandwiches in Massachusetts and maybe all of New England. These are legit.

I came here on my sister's recommendation. I got a toasted everything bagel with egg and cheese. Wow! The guy started cracking at least six eggs it seemed, to prepare my order. I just thought to myself that it was a lot! Anyway, it turned out splendidly. So good! read more

Amazing customer service amazing bagels, fresh and delicious! Cream cheese is excellent! Highly recommend this place!! :-)

Solid breakfast sandwiches but I won't be returning. Your food will be prepped by people who don't wear gloves, which makes me a bit uncomfortable. The place itself is also SUPER grungy, which adds to the discomfort around my food being prepped by people not wearing gloves. Proceed with caution. read more

Every once in a while over the past thirty years when I get a craving for a real bagel and I am in the area, I stop by Café Fresh Bagels located in Framingham Centre. They have been here forever. You will be greeted by the friendly owner as soon as you step inside. He has a wonderful way of taking everyone's order and keeping everything moving. The facilities are clean and well maintained. I saw no unsanitary conditions or practices. The bagels are large and fresh - they have that wonderful doughiness that you expect in a good boiled bagel. You will find all your favorite varieties including cinnamon raisin, plain, egg, salt, everything, veggie, chocolate chip, rye and so many more. My favorites are the generously coated everything and salt. Classics! Of course, you would be remiss if you didn't add a shmear of a good cream cheese. My favorites are the plain and the lox. They are generous with the lox in the cream cheese which makes it well worth the price. Expect a half dozen bagels and two 8oz containers of cream cheese to cost $25. They also make a number of excellent bagel-based breakfast sandwiches. In my opinion they make the best bagels in Metrowest. read more

We've been coming here for 15 years. Absolutely the best bagels around. And Wagdy has always been so friendly and kind to us!

I don't really care if they don't wear gloves to make my food- they can still have clean hands and I think it's wasteful to use a new pair of gloves for every order like some places. I've only been here for breakfast and keep going back often. The bagel sandwiches are not cheap, but they are really sizable so you get your money's worth. I like supporting local business and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hearty, delicious breakfast! read more

Great variety of delicious bagels. Staff is very friendly and quick. My new favorite breakfast spot! (Try the honey walnut cream cheese.)

Love their bagels and home made cream cheese!! Customer service is wonderful too!! Always a smile and a helpful attitude!!

As a NY transplant I can safely say these are by the the best bagels in the Boston area and most comparable to back home. Very generous portions on there egg sandwiches as well. Very nice owner that is friendly to all the customers. Only feedback would be maybe it is time for a facelift since it seems a bit dated inside but when serve up fresh bagels and killer egg sandwiches it's very easy to look past. Plan on being a regularly and intrigued if the locations in Needham and Dedham are just as good. read more

AWFUL!! Worst tuna fish EVER! Surly service. Needed to ask REPEATEDLY what the bagel selection was. I had a nasty response with a bad attitude. Never to return. Patron beware. Go ANYWHERE ELSE! read more

No frills, no atmosphere, no gimmicks, no hipster pretense, no "New York" pretense. Just big, plump bagels, relatively fresh, very generous cream cheese spreads, and generously packed when you get a tub of cream cheese to go. I'm probably closer to a 3-and-a-half here, but rounding up to four for the no-nonsense approach. I'd like them a little denser, but they're denser than most. I'm of the same opinion on the dough: nothing wrong with it, and not lacking per se, but it doesn't have that "oomph" that the perfect bagel should have. Bonus for having rye bagels. Double bonus for the fact that almost all of the bagels have small holes, making them work that much better with egg salad, chicken salad, whitefish salad, etc. Owner comes off as a little gruff at first but is a nice guy. I still also go to that other bagel place down the road but like this one a little more. read more
