I care a lot about my bagels and these are the best around. There are some other good bagel places around here but none that get to this level! Breakfast sandwiches are great too. read more

It costs roughly $2 to make a BEC sandwich and a coffee is maybe $1. I know you need to make a profit but $13 for that is theft. Not going back regardless of how good the bagels are. read more

What in the actual fuck. Almost $9 for a BEC?! Absolutely not. Not worth it. That's such a rip off. This place is price gouging the locals and college kids across the street. The bagels are wicked small, with barely any toppings. Won't be returning. Giving two stars only because they were polite and the place wasn't horribly dirty, tho you think with their prices the place would be nicer. Reading through the rest of the reviews, I see that a lot of people are mentioning that they don't wear gloves. This was never a huge issue for me (not a germaphobe and lived in Europe for a bit) but see omg as how one of the reviewers saw the employee wipe his nose and handle food without gloves, I'm hoping they'll see it here, too. read more

I don't stop here very often now that I work second shift, but for a while, I was her once or twice a week. Much better then the chains that dominate the area. I used to stop in when the first opened at 6. Bagels were usually still warm. Yummy soft and freshly made. I agree that the place really isn't that impressive looking and I was blindsided the first time I tried to pay with a card... Not as good as a REAL New York bagel, but much better then the completion read more

Best Bagels, but didn't appreciate owner not following CDC guidelines- NO MASK! Too bad...because they are the best bagels in Metrowest! read more

Get to the bagel cafe early. They make a massive amount of bagels in many different flavors it they sell fast. I often get here later in the morning and have only a few choices left. The quality here is just want you want. Good coffee as well. Price is a little bit high ($7.50 for egg and cheese, $4 for bagel with cream cheese) but the quality matches and not unheard of for a small locally owned place. The man that owns this franchise is from Lebanon and he is a joy. He may be the best part of my morning bagel and coffee. He is charming, welcoming, and funny. read more

Dirty place, and creepy old man working the counter. Man making sandwiches did not wear gloves after touching the register and answering a call. Absolutely disgusting. $20 for two bagel sandwiches with old sausage. Should have gone to Dunkin's. read more

Been going to Cafe Fresh Bagel for over 20 years. Excellent fresh bagels, tasty cream cheese, very friendly owner.

All y'all leaving bad reviews clearly are first timers. This place has the best bagels and the best customer service. Fendi(owner who often is behind counter) is extremely funny and makes you want to come back for more. If you say he's "creepy" you just gotta get to know him... idk what to tell you‍. Prices are fair. That's what you get for all homemade stuff. Plus it's good af so idc how much it costs. read more

The bagels are delicious and the staff is incredibly friendly. Always a kind word and checking in on the family while preparing the bagels.

Good sandwiches, however both people who were there were not wearing gloves to prepare the food, grabbing everything with their bare hands and no hand washing before preparing the food. Kind of concerning. read more

Ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel as well as an everything bagel with bacon & chive cream cheese. It cost me $17, which I paid with cash, not card, because there was a sign saying "cash payments will see a 3.94% discount from sales price." Not only was there not a discount (which is not a huge deal), but I asked the owner, "Wow, $17 seems a little high for those two items, right?" He responded: "Wait until you experience how much bacon is in that sandwich before you start to comment on price." I was shocked because I asked the question in a calm, genuine manner, and he snapped back at me and then walked away. The menu above the cash register did not reflect those prices for the items. He seemed to make up the prices out of thin air. The bagels themselves were not very good, the inside of the restaurant was pretty dirty, and I can't believe I just spent $17 on a bagel and a breakfast sandwich. Needless to say, I will never be going back. read more

Came here for the first time in awhile. Used to be a regular haunt but, now it's not in my circle of travel. Besides the fact that the guy behind the counter is gone, I find it appalling that an egg & cheese on a bagel and a medium coffee is $10. No meat, no home fries. Granted it's fresh eggs cracked in front of you and cooked on the grill but, I could get served breakfast with all the trimmings for less including tip. Is it just me? read more

Cafe fresh has EVERYTHING you could want in a bagel. Their bagels are amazing and their cream cheese is out of this world.

The bagels here are the best in the area. Always fresh and have great cream cheese to go with them. As good as the food is, it is not the food that keeps me coming back. The customer service here is above and beyond what you would expect. It doesn't feel like you are a customer, it feels like you are family. 100% recommend anyone in the area stop by and try a bagel!! read more

If it was possible to give a rating of negative stars... My wife and I wanted to support the local bagel bakery and decided to stop in one day for some bagels and cream cheese. Bad idea. The place is filthy, to the point of dozens of dust bunnies (man, I hope that's what they were) mingling under booths and in corners. It looked like the place hadn't been swept EVER. The floor in general was stained and crumb covered and the bakery case windows were smudged, very possibly inside and out. The little pots of cheeses and other spreads seemed clumsily displayed with no rhyme or reason, but that was just annoying. Here's the deal. If you're selling something, please make sure the prices displayed are accurate. If you're advertising one price on your menu and another in front of the item, I'd like to assume one of them is correct and that someone made a sign placement mistake. It happens, no big whoop. However, while being rung up, we were being charged neither price, but actually something completely different. In fact, $2 more than the higher tag. PLUS we were informed that the container size we ordered was only offered in the smaller version. Um, hello? Then why display two sizes in the case and on the counter, as well as have both listed on the menu??? Needless to say, we left and went to Bruegger's in Shopper's World. Sometimes the consistency of a chain is a relief. I highly recommend that you never step foot in this establishment. I'm shocked that it hasn't gone out of business already or been shut down by the town's health inspector. read more

Hot Miami. Like Paris Hilton hot. Not Penelope Cruz hot. lox. chives. cheese. a spread. goes on everything. read more

Stopped by for bagels as hubby and I were exploring our new neighborhood. The restaurant could use updating. Very dated. The guy behind the counter was really nice and got us our food fast. The bagels were so good! We both got the Asiago cheese with regular cream cheese and loved it! New might try the sandwiches next time. read more

Awesome bagels, awesome owner! This man knows everyone's name and he sent home bagels for me when I was recovering from cancer. He's a wonderful man! Bagels are always delicious, as are the chocolate muffins and coffee. read more

Great place for a good coffee and a great bagel. The real treat here however is the breakfast sandwich. IT is goddamn amazing three eggs wrapped with cheese and bacon/sausage wrapped in it all on a delicious bagel. The decor is outdated and gross, but the food is ridiculously good. They also finally accept cards. read more

We started going here in college and immediately loved the place. Granted the decor is old and crazy looking, but they food and service more than makes up for it. First the bagels are delicious and fresh and they are perfectly good plain or with any type of cream cheese. But what really sets the cafe fresh apart is the breakfast sandwiches, either the egg cheese and bacon or sausage are simply delicious and amazing. He uses 3 full eggs and real cheese on each sandy with real Italian sausage or real bacon. So much better than the trash you get ad DD's or Honeydews. Yes, the man behind the counter seems creepy, but he is genuinely nice and cares about his customers. The coffee is also good for such a local small place I completely and totally recommend the fresh bagel to anyone read more

Store was not clean from the filthy front door to the floors. Ordered bagels and they touched them with their hands. Not good. Especially during covid won't be returning even if the bagels are ok. read more

This place has great bagels in a wide variety of flavors. The cream cheese (we tried Hot Miami and Chive) is excellent. We were pleasantly surprised with the ham, cheese, and egg bagel sandwich, and a bagel with chive cream cheese and freshly cooked bacon on top. The owner/cashier had lots of personality, and made the atmosphere fun and upbeat. I'll agree that the place doesn't look like much from the outside, and could certainly be spruced up inside- but we didn't find it dirty like some said. The place is cash only, but there is an ATM inside the cafe. Price-wise it is comparable to other small bagel shops in the area. It's not cheap (more expensive than Bruegger's) but the bagels are worth it. We look forward to returning here many times! read more

Amazing bagels every time and awesome guy behind the counter. We came in quite late in the day so we didn't have a huge selection of bagels but he gave us 2 free cookies and was such a cool dude. read more

Best bagels, cream cheese flavors and bagel chips I've ever had. My first time visiting Cafe Fresh was last weekend. I got a lox bagel and have been dreaming of it ever since. Just so delicious. And the owners are good people. read more

Some of the best bagels around! I love the everything bagel with chive cream cheese. Also love the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and the iced cafe mocha is delicious!! Staff is super friendly and welcoming every time I go! Highly recommend!! read more

This place is awesome first quality lox, 4 freaking eggs on the bagel sandwich I had to ask for only two this time because I didn't want to waste. Last time I got through 1/4 of the giant BEC. They also have these coffee cakes of all flavors. Huge for $16.99 good for book club or breakfast which we grilled. Yellow from all the butter. Yum! nice guy running the show who I assume is the owner. read more

Cafe Fresh Bagels - My two egg sandwich. You however will get four unless specified.. - Bagels Near Me - Framingham, Massachusetts

Stopped in today for the first time. Not the cleanest looking place around but got fast friendly service. Had turkey bacon on a marble bagel and it was damn tasty. I'll bet the egg sandwiches are even better and I can't wait to try one. read more

One of the BEST bagels I have ever had!! I lived in NY and I have missed NY bagels... the lox cream was unbelievable! I really like the owner Fendi, he is kind, genuine and generous! A wonderful find!!!!!!!' So happy to have a fresh and delicious bagel! read more

It's a great place for a quick breakfast or lunch. It's located in Framingham Centre and caters to the morning commuters and local tradespeople. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I like to stop in the morning either for coffee and a bagel on the way to work, or sometimes, I'll get a delicious whitefish bagel to take with me for lunch if I know I have a lot of work and I don't want to leave for lunch. It is handy on Saturday mornings, too, for a coffee and bagel before doing local errands. read more

Really really good bagels! But WOWWWWW $12.50 for a BEC and an iced coffee. That's insane. Thought it was a mistake at first.

Wanted to explore new and local place. they have many varieties of bagels which you wont find at other stores. Fresh- bagel and coffee smell was so amazing. I took Cinnamon raisin bagel and the owner is so friendly and suggested veggie spread on it. It was soooo amazing. Could not stop at one bite. Definitely going back again! read more

The jalapeno cream cheese is delicious! Also the bagels are great. And the owner is kind

The bagels are fresh and so is the cream cheese. The owner is very friendly. Love the place. Highly recommended.

I observed a worker pick bagels out of the bins with his bare hands. Then he proceeded to weigh lox for a customer by selecting pieces of lox with his bare hands and putting them on the scale. Then he proceeded to wipe his nose with his hand. Since this was done right in front of customers, I shudder to think what might happen behind the scenes. I cannot get past this, so I'm never going there again. read more

Finally I have found good bagels in the Metrowest. These are giant, crispy on the outside, and pillowy on the inside. My only regret is not finding this sooner. read more

Home of the former Brooklyn Bagel, Cafe Fresh Bagel continues on with the same recipe. I am of the opinion that the best bagels are from NYC. Hard on the outside and chewy on the inside. I do not care for bready bagels. Correct me if I am wrong but this is the expectation of a good ny bagel. There are bagel companys in Massachusetts that are able to do this such as Kupels in Brookline and the former Brooklyn Bagel. Cafe Fresh Bagel continues this tradition. These are good and genuine NYC styled bagels. Good Stuff. Go early to get them fresh. They also make their own cream cheese as well. Definitely worth it. read more

Been coming here since I was 5. Awesome place, great owner. Definitely go if you haven't. Quite possibly best bagels in Framingham.

Excellent bagels, jovial owner (joking with regulars) and cute son helping out at the register, plus interesting cream cheese (hot Miami, walnut & raisin, olive). Way cheaper than the big chains, way more character. I don't know schmutz from schmaltz, but they seem like the close-to-perfect bagel. Can be a line sometimes on weekends, but be patient, they hustle! read more

I would normally give this place 5 stars, my wife and I have been going here for years and and she's been going there ever since she can remember. The owner is very nice and welcoming and almost always gives us a bag of bagels. I always get a sausage egg and cheese and typically it's delicious. This time not so much I ended up having to throw the bagel out as it was soaked in grease and had about 2 tbsp of grease in the bottom of the container. made another bagel as he had given us some as mentioned but the sandwich had no cheese, I ended up just throwing out the rest.
