Came here with a friend for for birthday. Made reservations on Open table for the Sunday brunch. It was an ok buffet for brunch. Options for omelets, waffle, carving station, cheese, seafood and some various hot foods. Service was excellent, checked on multiple times and our champagne glasses never empty. We partake in the crab and shrimp. We also sampled some of the hot foods such as seafood pasta, tenderloin, oyster Rockefeller, and fish. Small but extensive selection for dessert. Ample parking and easy reservations. It was ok experience for trying something new.

Came to celebrate a birthday brunch Not too crowded but reservation is required for large party Food and their spreads were not too excited not much selections as compared to other hotel buffets. Wished they could have better and more selections It's a hit and miss experience The California roll was mediocre but the prime ribs were seasoned well and soft Some crab legs were not fresh while the shrimp cocktail was good

It was my mom's birthday and my sister and I wanted to take her here so here we are. We came in for their Sunday brunch buffet @10am which is priced at $60 a person at the time of me making this review. The buffet served many delectable foods from prime rib, crab legs, bottomless mimosas, and more. The service here was really good. The staff here is very friendly and were always checking in with us to ensure that we were having a great experience. They were also quick to refill our mimosas lol. The buffet is located inside a nice hotel. The place was clean and well organized. I definitely recommend checking this brunch buffet out if you haven't already! Try it out if you like. :)

Booked a Mother's Day lunch for this past weekend a month in advance via OpenTable. It is extremely hard to get someone on the phone there so you may need to go through Operator and to have someone call you back if you have questions about your reservation like I did where I wanted to update the reservation from 6 people to 8 people because it didn't allow me to do it on my own. I ended up not getting a call back but they did update my reservation luckily. Everything was smooth from check-in process, finding a parking (they have a garage for free parking), and getting seated. We got complimentary champagne & orange juice (yay mimosa!) There was two stations, we got seated in the banquet room for bigger groups & main hall. The host informed us food on both sides are the same as except main hall had ice cream machine. Service was good, but I'm giving it a 3 star for food. I don't think it was anything special for Mother's Day tbh. They had shell fishes like crabs but very difficult to eat even with the shell cracker, oysters, and shrimp. They also had prime rib, lamb on the rack and other meats. When you come to a buffet, you want to try everything so I got a little bit of everything. Food was okay overall, some stuff was cold like the beef/chicken that was on the small hot plate unfortunately. It was unfortunately a bit disappointing since we paid $75/pp but other than that, service was great.

I brought my mom here to celebrate her birthday with a buffet brunch, and wow--it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the host and servers were warm, welcoming, and on top of everything. The spread was impressive: an omelette station cranking out eggs just the way you like them, juicy prime rib, and tables overflowing with breakfast selections, salads, fruit, seafood, pastries, and desserts. But let's be real--we basically made a beeline for the crab legs and never looked back. Paired with bottomless mimosas (yes, included in the price), it was pretty much brunch perfection.

What a great deal for $60! I came here with my family for the first time. We came for the Sunday brunch buffet. We made reservations when it opened at 10. Everything was fresh and the service was friendly and attentive. Unlimited mimosas, crab legs, oysters, clam chowder, prime rib, shrimp, dessert.... The list goes on. There is a nice little stream to look at indoors. Parking was easy to find.

Cafe Florian is located in the Crown Plaza Hotel so easy free parking. $55 + tax/tip is a little more than I'm used to spending for brunch, but thought we'd try it out. We made reservations so were seated right away. Included drinks included champagne, mimosas, juice, soda, and coffee. The buffet doesn't have a ton of choices (think Vegas buffets), but what they had was very good. The prime rib was my favorite. Perfectly cooked medium rare with the au jus was fantastic. Crab legs and shrimp were good as well. The omelet station had mushrooms, onions, spinach, bacon, cheese but no ham. Server was very nice and friendly. Pros: Quality food, AYCE. Cons: cost.

Is there any way to know if an upcoming sunday buffet Jan 11,2026 will have dungeness crab because I don't like snow crab?

The website indicates that their Sunday Brunch is from 1000 to 1300 and says that a customer will have 2hours from the reserved time. So my question is if I reserve 1300 (OpenTable slot), does that mean I still have 2h of enjoying the experience?

What is the price and times for Sunday brunch?

$60 for adult when I went yesterday.

Does Café Florian sell ground coffee Florian from Venice?

The have espresso and cappuccino. But not sure of the beans they're using. I do know that there coffee is starbuck

We love biking to this place and enjoying the food at the outdoor seating area! No matter how busy it is, service is always pretty slow haha. But it's worth it and the pieces are great. Granted we came on Mother's day weekend for lunch, but the place was packed when we arrived. It's tucked in a little corner next to Osaka Marketplace by the water. We were lucky that a table outside was clearing out right when we were ordering. There was almost a few people waiting for a table at all times. The restaurant was kind of small, with only 5-8 tables inside (mainly for groups of 4 or less people). Outside there was several larger tables and the weather in the area is typically nice enough to dine outside. The staff seemed very stressed and under pressure. They were constantly running out orders and so they weren't very attentive to people coming in or waiting at the counter. Nonetheless we ordered a variety of things to share through the self-order kiosk. Between four people, we shared two appetizers and four entrees with some left over food. The siu mai and fish balls were as expected, nothing mind-blowing but the satay sauce was delicious and definitely necessary. Fried chicken wings were very crunchy exterior and moist inside, but the seasoning itself was a bit underwhelming in my opinion. Again, the included dipping sauce made the dish much more enjoyable. Lemongrass pork neck was flavorful and had that jowl texture that makes pork so succulent. The sweet chili sauce paired well for this simple dish. The fried egg addition is always nice. The bbq Iberian black pork was a little disappointing as the broth was a bit plain and the meat itself not as tender as we hoped. Noodles were decent. Cheesy corn pasta was an interesting fusion. The corn added sweetness while still retaining a savory taste from the sauce they used. A little creamy for my preference but I can see the appeal. HK style toast was unexpectedly good, but maybe because I had low expectations from the other items. There was a crisp exterior to the bread with fluffy interior, stuffed with peanut butter. The condensed milk is essential for this! Overall, neat idea that resembles many cafes in HK but average execution. We were hoping for more variety of dishes but it's alright for what they do have. It's nice diversification to the area.

"Excuse me, are you done yet?"…read more It's a fine coffee spot. Just not a place to get work done, relax, read, catch up with friends, or have something with your specialty coffee. Lest you be assaulted by the stares of the envious folks in line waiting to do the same thing. Just do yourself a favor and get the coffee to-go. As suggestion to the business: If the space could be renovated, then I'd recommend a long bar top along the wall at counter height. At least then you can fit more people in the space and their line of sight would be facing the wall or watching the coffee be made. Vs staring at the queue awkwardly.

No shame in declaring Kaizen as my favorite coffee shop in the Bay Area!…read more Kaizen is a coffee shop located blocks away from the Hillsdale shopping center. It does not have a dedicated parking lot, so be sure to grab the first street parking slot you see! It's a modern, small shop with some seating options (if you come early enough, you will be able to get something!) My usual here is typically a black sesame latte and I will say, probably the best one you can get in the Bay Area. It's toasty, nutty, but not over powering. I have been having a hard time finding a comparable contender. Besides that their vanilla latte is delicious and bright. For me their miso is a bit salty but that might be a preference. They also have some amazing selections of pastries you can get. I always get something new while I'm here, most recently, I got a pork floss croissant but I did enjoy the ube croissant when they still carried it. Their baristas are always very kind, and are willing to help. Despite coming in some busy times, I always get my drink in a reasonable time. I will continue to rave about this spot to my friends! It's a gem. :)
