The food was pretty good and beautifully presented. The menu reflects the same dichotomy where there's "bar food" like fish and chips but it is also unexpectedly elevated. I'm not the type of person to ever order a burger without cheese but this burger could've definitely stood alone. Melted Monterey Jack, thick slices of bacon, fresh slices of avocado, and a perfectly cooked runny egg were just added bonuses. There was something on this burger that had a slight sweetness. I don't know if it was the samurai sauce that they put on it or the bacon, but it was delicious. I love that. It came served with a light salad tossed in vinaigrette as well. It reminded me of a bakery in Modesto that was known only by word-of-mouth which only had take-out baked goods. I docked a star because it currently does not have an ADA-compliant entrance. They could install a ramp or maybe a button for service and a sign with braille if it's just a take-out place. Why does it matter? It's federal law. Any business open to the public must be accessible to people disabilities. Otherwise, that's discrimination against people with disabilities and you can be sued if you are non-compliant. I had family who became wheelchair-bound so it's something that I take notice of. I plan on returning to try out the Peruvian offerings.
