Very cute interior with nice coffee and service :) Got a lot of food choices for breakfast/lunch and the music is very nice for morning coffee vibes

Cafe Dulce is always a sweet win! This location is clean, bright, and welcoming, with super friendly staff and shelves that never disappoint. I'm hooked on their Cold Matcha and rich hot Mocha--and don't even get me started on those heavenly Roti Buns and fresh, drool-worthy donuts! Whether it's the Little Tokyo OG or this convenient Vernon spot near the office, Cafe Dulce always delivers. Consider me a proud regular!

This place is so cute! They are in a plaza and have ample parking so no issues with parking which is always a plus! The server was kind and was patient while I figured out what o wanted. I ended up grabbing a chocolate chip cookie, ordered an iced vanilla latte and an iced blueberry matcha. The iced vanilla coffee was good, and just the right amount of syrup! The blueberry matcha was also delicious! I thought it would have blueberry puree like but I think a syrup is used, regardless it was good and not too sweet. They have a variety of food for breakfast/lunch and the donuts/ baked goods looked so good! I went for a quick coffee run but I will definitely go back to try the food. Once I do I will update my review. The pricing is okay, a bit high but I feel like now and days going out to get a matcha means spending $7.00+. I put photos of the drink but forgot to take a photo of the cookie!

Overall, this place pretty good. Most. If not, all of the food is pretty good. Including their drinks.

I finally made it to Café Dulce, and wow, it definitely lives up to the hype! I tried the breakfast burrito with sausage and avocado, and it was a total standout. The tortilla was light and crispy, the flavors were spot on, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. It's one of those dishes you take a bite of and instantly know you'll be back for again. 10 out of 10 for taste! Cleanliness is also a 10 out of 10--the space is well-kept and welcoming. The service was great too, very friendly and quick. I'd rate it a solid 8.5 out of 10. Café Dulce has a really good selection of pastries, coffees, and teas. I tried the rose green tea latte and it was simply delightful, light, floral, and just the right amount of sweetness. There's something for everyone here. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or planning a chill brunch with friends, this spot hits the mark. There's a cute outdoor patio if you want to sit outside, plus a few tables inside if you prefer a cozier vibe. Highly recommend Café Dulce, it's definitely going on my regular brunch list.

It's a very nice place. Service is fast and good. They have everything you need coffee bakery sandwiches and salads. I bought only a cup of coffee with oat milk, the large size latte, which was pretty pricy to be honest about $8. I think they charge extra for the oat milk, but that's too much guys, oat milk is not so expensive:) I'm not professional in terms of coffee taste, but I think this one was too sour. Some sorts of coffee have citrus taste, so maybe it was because of specific coffee beans, I don't know. Probably need to come again, but no oat milk this time. The location is good, seems like you guys did a research. No coffee shops around. And it's busy. Thank you! Overall I give them 5 starts!

The iced blueberry matcha latte is sooo good!!! It tastes like blueberry milk, yummm Free parking and ample seating for studying, wish they were open a lil later ;(

Best coffee in Vernon * coffee and donuts * free parking (spacious) * breakfast burritos * blueberry matcha * customers service Parking alone makes this place one of the best coffees in town. It's so hard these days to find good locations with free parking. My favorite orders - iced vanilla latter with whole milk - breakfast burritos add avocados - pastrami burger (but really a sandwich) - vegan peanut butter jelly donut - hazelnut crumble & brick toasts Endless options!

Not enough in that there boh-ree-toe!

I walked into this place for the first time and would have left if I wasn't already wearing earplugs. The bass was so high and the music so loud, I don't understand why ppl would stay inside. Burrito was good, but the bottom had a buncha extra tortilla they coulda stuffed w a little more food. I wouldn't tell anyone "not' to go here, but I'm not recommending it either. Big selection of coffee type drinks, btdubbs-if that's your thing. The coffee maker looked like a pro in his street clothes w no apron or anything to help distinguish him from some dude that could have just walked behind the counter.

Have been coming here for years!! Love the original roti and apple tuna sandwich!! The bread is always so soft and crunchy and the greens and apple are always so fresh and crunchy. Love coming here for a nice good sandwich.

Traveling can be challenging, no matter how you go about it…read more If you're driving, chances are you're stuck in traffic, dodging impatient drivers under the unforgiving sun for hours. If you're flying, you're navigating long TSA lines, hauling luggage through terminals, and feeling like a package on a conveyor belt. By the time you arrive at your destination, the last thing you want is to sit around, waiting for your hotel room to be ready. What's worse is the industry-wide norm: early check-out (as early as 10am) and late check-in (sometimes not until 4 or 5pm). That's a six-hour window where you're essentially in limbo--and honestly, it doesn't take that long to turn a room around. But then you come across a place like The Hoxton--a brand that just gets it. From the start, I noticed something different: standard check-in at 2pm and check-out at 12pm. That's only a two-hour room turnaround, and honestly, that small detail made a big impact on my stay. It showed that they respect travelers' time and understand how exhausting the journey can be. The early check-in wasn't the only win. The Hoxton's hospitality extends beyond logistics--it's in the welcoming atmosphere, the effortless design, and the subtle feeling that everything is being handled without you needing to ask. When a hotel pays attention to the small details, like realistic check-in and check-out times, it sets the tone for the entire stay. It's the kind of thoughtfulness that keeps you coming back--and recommending it to friends. The hardwood floors and minimalist decor were a breath of fresh air--literally. As someone with allergies, I was relieved to walk into a space that felt clean, airy, and well-maintained. No musty old carpet, no suspicious stains, and no wondering if your socks would survive a stroll across the room. Just a bright, well-designed room that felt intentionally simple and refreshingly comfortable. The rooftop pool and bar were definite highlights. Whether you're in the mood to lounge by the water or enjoy a romantic sunset moment, it's a beautiful spot to unwind and take in the views. That said, be ready to pay for it--two drinks ran us about $50, which feels steep, even with the ambiance factored in. The hotel also features an on-site café and diner, which makes grabbing a quick bite or coffee super convenient. But, like most hotel dining, you're paying for proximity and ease--so expect slightly higher pricing than outside spots. Situated in South Park on the edge of DTLA, the location feels both quiet and accessible. It's not in the middle of the action, but the corner is bright and safe, and you're directly across from The Proper Hotel. A short Uber ride puts you close to a wide variety of restaurants, nightlife, and city attractions--making it a great launching point for exploring Los Angeles without the chaos of staying right in the center.

My experience with The Hoxton Hotel was defined by 2 main things:…read more1. Beautiful Historical art deco hotel with super friendly and helpful staff 2. Very limited (safe) parking options as well as nighttime noise problems. The Good: Love this style and vibe of this boutique hotel. In the rooms, there are many cute little features that add charm -- see photos of vent and light switch and retro decor. I did not get to try the restaurants but they look gorgeous especially the rooftop one. I peeked at the pool area near the restaurant; You can get a fantastic view of the city from there. The spaces are all kept quite clean and tidy. My room was small-moderate Queen size. You go through the door and the entryway is also your bathroom and though I admire how clever they work with the space, some area could have been improved. For instance, the water closet had more space than it needed. I really like the closed-door shower area though. Garbage bins were a bit hard to find (one in the WC and the other at the far end corner of the room by the bed). Then the TV is kind of awkwardly placed all the way near the window. Nowhere near center to the bed. I was drawn to this hotel for the perk of it being very dog friendly (and it is!). They provide dog treats, beds and bowls. The only issue I found was lack of potty space for dogs. I understand given the location on the streets but perhaps a faux grass spot can be made around a corner in the alley, near the restaurant could be made. OR a small patch of grass space created on the rooftop area! Then it would REALLY be dog-friendly. The Bad: Valet is $66 per night. PER NIGHT. And good luck parking on any of the lots nearby on the street (not associated with the hotel). There's a HIGH CHANCE your car will be smashed and vandalized. I initially tried the lot across the street and when we got back from dinner to park, these poor guys' car window was smashed and they said several other cars were smashed too. The lots claim they're surveilled 24hr, but that's a lie. Unless there's a 24/7 lot attendant, I would NOT trust these streets. I already paid for the whole weekend already ($52) and there's probably no chance to get a refund. So don't feed into these terrible lots. Risk of vandalism is high. Noise: I had requested ahead of time and upon arrival to hopefully be roomed in a quieter part of the hotel. But I've come to find out, this area is NOT good if you want peace and quiet. If you want nightlife sounds while you're out on the town AND when you get to your room, then sure, this is your place. I stayed on the 10th floor and starting at 10pm until 2:15AM, There was an incessant deep rumbling sound, as if someone's Escalade was parked outside the building blasting bass music. I guess it was a club down the street somewhere. If you're someone who can't sleep through this constant rumbling like me, then this will NOT be a nice evening experience. Fortunately, staff was incredible kind enough to help me change to a quieter room (shoutout to Kevian (?sp)) at 1:30 AM. The space usage and orientation of the larger rooms was better and I had no further issues. Yes, you can still hear the city din in the background but no longer the "pounding-headache" rumble from before. For some reason, it was so much more noticeable at the top-most floor. All in all, I really loved my experience here at the Hoxton and my fur baby boys also had a great time too. I would LOVE to return and want to give a 5 stars, but the 2 main issues (parking and noise) above really kept it from being a seamless experience for me. Well, it's LA... :/
