I work across the street and I'm currently pregnant I've always passed by this little shop it's always packed which is why I never had a chance to try it out this time I said let me go on my break and see if I can squeeze my 10 minute break to get breakfast and the owner delivered thank goodness , He was so nice and quick! And the food omg I will be returning! So good and affordable my pregnant self is super happy I got to try out the breakfast sandwich with bacon I would walk pass here and smell the bacon which is why I would wanna try definitely come and try this place you won't be disappointed :) thank you!

I love this place a lot. The guy is fast with great customer service, it's the perfect spot to grab a bagel sandwich before work. And it's one of those heavenly + affordable bagels where it has you questioning how he put so much love into it in the 1 minute it takes him to make it. Love it! :)

Since I'm working from home during quarantine time and living in DTLA, I've been trying the places that open only during weekdays that I could never try before. This place is one of them. I always wanted to try but they're closed during weekends. Got a croissant sandwich with egg, bacon and cheese. Also ordered white chocolate latte. They're big, filling, and delicious :) The staff was very friendly too. It's perfect for breakfast or lunch. I'd recommend both of what I had. It's a very tiny place with decent yummy food. And I'd like to support them especially during this time.

Ok, I walk past this café every single morning when I take my dog out. I knew it was a small place (mom & pop shops are the best!) but I didn't know it was family owned! Score! I was particularly hangry today and too impatient to order something delivery, so I took my dog downstairs for a quick walk and popped in next door. Honestly--the bulgogi plate is f'n delicious here!! You can tell this is a Korean-family owned cafe--they really put love into their food and presentation. I ate all the rice, daikon (daikon is my favorite.. raaaadish!) and salad first--I'm stuffed!! I also ordered spam musubi as a comfort food for me, and I am too full to eat it! Late night snack, it is! They also make boba tea, which I haven't had a chance to try yet (and which I'm glad for, since the institution of 85 Degrees across the way is closed, perhaps for good ). Finally, they have a slew of American menu items and pastries for the grab and go consumer (brekkie burritos, etc). So happy I finally tried this place, can't wait to try the spicy pork next!

Cafe Dolcini is a small breakfast and lunch spot located in the heart of DTLA. The store is run by a really sweet Korean lady and frequented by many people that work in the nearby offices. The store itself is really small and only have 2 small tables on Grand Avenue to sit. I would say this is more of a grab and go place instead of dine-in sandwich store. The store itself is sandwiched between a printing store (at the corner of Grand x Wilshire) and Shoe Wiz/ Casey's. Great spot if you want to grab a bagel, sandwich, or a ricebox during lunchtime. One of my favorite items to order from Cafe Dolcini is their Curry Rice. Food is comforting and she usually give generous portions. I can easily split my order into two meals. Suggest bringing cash if you want to buy food here because she will charge you a service fee for using credit card. Try coming a few minutes before the peak lunch hours to beat the crowd.

Everything bagel with turkey, lettuce, avocado & cucumber breakfast sandwich.

I find this cafe to be outstanding, with quality service everyday. I've been coming here every morning since working DTLA and I can say Chris is very professional and hard working each and every day. By the way there are two Starbucks locations within one mile from this cafe and I still prefer to come here than go to them. Like I mentioned the quality of food and coffee and specially the orange juice is better than it's competitors. Star

Cafe Dolcini is a super small shop on Grand Ave that you've probably passed a quarter million times to get to the better-known lunch spots in the area, but let me tell you, it is SO worth a visit. I've passed this place all the time walking from the US Bank tower to chipotle and have always just eyed the photos of Korean food they have posted on the windows. But today as I was walking to Chipotle, I stopped and figured why not and.. Why didn't I come visit earlier?!? A sandwich place at half the price of Mendocino Farms and Specialitys?! Delicious Korean food so close to work?! Although they are better known for their sandwiches and croissants, Cafe Dolcini also serves Spicy Pork, Beef Bulgogi, and Jap Chae with a side of rice and its SO worth it. I got the Spicy Pork with rice, allowed her to put some veggies and sriracha on it and then bam, one of the best lunches I've had in a while. A suitable portion size and just the right amount of spice. 10/10 would come back.

I just inhaled half this sandwich then decided to leave a review lol. I'm obsessed with this cute little cafe right by my building! It gives NY vibes which I absolutely love being from NY :) great service and wonderful food and coffee! Will def be coming here 3+ times a week!

I came here for the poke stops :) Spicy pork with rice ($6.75): it was not good at all. The pork wasn't chewy and not tasty. Watermelon juice ($4.00): I was disappointed with this watermelon juice. Not good :( QUICK TIP: YOU CAN SIT HERE AND CLICK ON THE POKE STOPS!! 2 stars!! I really wanted to love this place :( Cafe Dolcini is not yummylicious!!

My go to is the Seoul bowl it's so good and perfectly marinated while still being health conscious 5/5. The newer tikka masala has been a fav lately- it's veggie based but the spices and flavor are on point, just as delicious as a non-vegan dish! I think with soy meat it could be even better, I'll see if that's an option next time, but this was 4.5/5. West coast shrimp side is really satisfying and savory. While I am not at all vegan, it can be a fantastic change of pace when trying a cuisine that is not at all my regular routine. Happily, Variable has tons of choices, and we loved what we got. I was drawn towards the 'N Seoul Bowl' (Korean spicy plant based pork, house marinated Kimchi, organic edamame, steamed organic spinach, carrot, steamed broccoli, onion , organic shiitake, topped with green onion and sesame seeds and side organic quinoa). So good, a bit spicy, and so many flavors on the plate it was impossible to not only love it, but I could not finish it, either. That goes from all their dishes. They are big, and in our experience, it came out piping hot soon after ordering it. My companion tried the 'Indian Tikka Masala' (homemade Indian curry, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, potatoes, cabbage, chickpea, micro green, Served with blend wild Jasmin rice and Indian Flat Bread). Tastes so fresh, hearty, with just enough of a kick to it. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, too. The burger that the table near us ordered looked fantastic. I gotta think that everything here is pretty dang great.

Luckily, it wasn't busy... granted I went around noonish on a Wednesday. Despite the heat, the table was shaded so it was nice to take in the breeze. My matcha oat latte was made quickly and brought to me. The latte itself was perfectly balanced, not too sweet nor was it too bitter. What I also appreciated is that it was also strong in flavor! It was a perfect treat after lunch and in this wild heat! BUT even after they scanned my ticket for validation, it did not work when I was at the gate exiting! Bummer. I paid $5.00. Street parking is hard to find and I wouldn't recommend walking too far for parking. There was another parking lot across from Honda Plaza, but do not know the rates there. The tables looked clean, but the ground around it smelled of urine. Yuck. Some people may not have noticed because there were people who sat at the tables and enjoyed their matcha and soft serve ice cream. Yay for them. Would I return? Not sure. I enjoyed everything, but the parking situation is not ideal. I feel like I have to go out of my way to come here. Although Honda Plaza did not have any homeless in the immediate area, as soon as you drive to the main street, there was a homeless camp nearby. So it's just less and less appealing to return.
