THE BEST BAGELS IN LA. Period. They're authentic and perfectly dense and chewy. An explosion of deliciousness, and well-priced! I've tried literally every bagel here and not once have I thought "hmm that one's not that good." To top it off, the employees are fantastic and always so lovely. They move the line quickly and remember you! There isn't a better bagel shop out there, trust me! 10/10

Bagel Broker is a long standing family owned bagel shop in Los Angeles' Fairfax District since 1987. The bagel shop is located directly across from the CBS Studio. [Parking]: The shop has a small and free private parking lot which is a rarity in this part of neighborhood near the Grove / The Original Farmers Market. I had no issue finding a parking spot on Sunday morning. [Atmosphere]: Old school bagel shop vibe with several indoor tables to sit. No outdoor patio tables and no public restroom. [Menu]: Hot egg sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese is a popular option. Some of top Yelp highlights include cheese onion bagel, jalapeño and cheddar bagel, and bialy bagel. Buy a dozen bagel and get 2 bagels free. [Bagel options]: Water (Water Bagel or Plain), Everything, Sesame, Onion, Poppy, Egg, Cheese Onion, Jalapeño, Jalapeño Cheddar, Cinnamon Raisin, Raisin, Blueberry, Wheat, Garlic, Salt, Pumpernickel, Corn Rye,Marble Rye, and Bialy. [Cream cheese options]: Plain, Lite, Chive, Lox, Cheddar Jalapeño, Veggie, Strawberry, and Honey Walnut. *** Lox & Cream Cheese (cheese onion bagels - $13.50): The bagel sandwich also has sliced cucumber and onion + a side of potato salad - I thought both lox bagel and potato salad tasted just alright. *** Personally I wouldn't drive out of the way just for their bagels. This might be a fine stop to visit 20+ years ago, but there are just too many good bagel shops in Los Angeles now.

This is the closest to those old bagel factories of yesteryear. They are fresh and reasonably priced. Good size too. They have a menu for sandwiches too. Buy 6 get 1 free. Buy 12 get 2 free. Nice!! The put plenty of toppings. Everything bagels are completely covered. Their cheese bagels are the best and so soft the next day too. Cheese jalapeño and cheese and onion. Parking is tough even with their own lot

If I wasn't a fan of bagels, I am one standing in front of the display case with these brokers. It was like spinning a wheel of chores if it meant I get to pick 5. Landed on the cheesy jalapeño toasted with egg and cheese. Came out before I could even fill my coffee and I hate that it took me restraint to make the sandwich last as long as it did. The line gets insane in this tiny plaza but moves fast, even if you have to stare at a fellow bum, grime on cheeks, eating his steaming bagel sandwich too. It's worth it.

This place is ALWAYS busy. The staff works fast and are always pleasant. The parking is cramped, so I park in the metered parking just east of the shop. I gotta be honest, the bagels themselves are fine...as in not the low quality of Western Bagels, but not the "eat the bagel right out of the bag" goodness of Pop's Bagels. They're somewhere in the middle. The place located in a convenient, well populated area. They have a lot of regulars. Me? I'm just passing through, looking for the best bagels in town. If you're like me, I'd say give this place a try, but be open to other bagels in the neighborhood.

Come here often. Maybe 4 or 4 times a month. Today ordered a blueberry toasted with cream cheese. And added an unprepared cheese and onion bagel. Both bagels were great. As always

This was a great bagel shop! They had a huge variety and the staff is super helpful with helping you choose all your flavors. If you buy six bagels, they give you a seventh for free and if you buy a dozen they give you an extra 2 bagels. We really liked all of the options with cheese on the top. The cinnamon raisin bagel is also really good. My favorite bagel was the poppyseed bagel. The parking lot is super small but there is street parking on the road next to the shop it was pretty busy inside. It seems like a neighborhood joint where people like to get their breakfast in the morning. We can't wait to go back! There was also plenty of seating inside if you wanted to eat there

It's a good location on the way to Cedars. Loved the bagel tuna sandwich. It tasted very fresh. They have a lot of flavors to choose from. There was a long line but it moves fast. The workers are nice and friendly. Parking is not the best but just be patient.

Bustling bagel shop that sells plenty of bagels and bagel sandwich varieties. Very busy on a weekend morning, but the line moved efficiently and the staff were helpful and friendly. I ordered the lox bagel sandwich and it was quite good, although I found the everything bagel to be a excessively salty. The side of potato salad was delicious.

Fun bagel spot in a strip mall across from CBS Studios on Beverly. Bagels were great and inexpensive compared to other bagel spots around town. Staff was friendly, which is a rarity these days. The only downside is that parking is limited since the spot is always jumping.

During our short stay in LA, we have made a habit of starting almost every day a hardy breakfast with the Bagel Broker because of the taste and quality of food here. My go to is the lox bagels, which all taste very fresh, and the Sliced Nova Lox contains a lot of acidity to balance the fattiness of the salmon. The service is very fast and the staff are very friendly with recommendations of bagel combinations with each smear or filling. And the cherry on top: there is plenty of parking, which is quite a luxury in LA.

    Elvi T.

Had a lox sandwich bagel which came with a lil potato salad. Portion size and ingredients were OK. The cut doesn't make it the easiest to eat. By 1pm they were out of the everything bagel.

It's kind of a skinny bagel tbh, but the flavor is solid

Its a pretty casual spot where you order at a counter or kiosk and then pick up your food when its ready. As I no longer live in LA, I, of course, had to order like 4 bagels to try. We got the signature calic, elote calic, potato bacon calic, and the bacon scallion. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach and ultimately, I just wanted a taste of them all. Sadly, I found the bagels to be a bit lackluster for the price. The garlic flavor is prominent but, as with a lot of Korean foods, there was just too much sweet for my personal tastes. I should also just recognize that bagels aren't really my thing and despite it being appealing to look at, they didn't really hit home for me. They're quite pricey at close to $10 a bagel and while filling, don't seem to have much substance (its essentially a bagel and flavored cream cheese). Am I glad I came, sure, I got to try something new and didn't have to wait in ridiculously long lines but would I return? Unlikely but again, if you're into this kind of thing, its good.

    1. Another perfect Los Angeles day. Woke up and the weather outside was yanking me out of bed…read more Before I could even put my clothes on, I could feel Jess & Kora on the other side. Waiting for me. Waiting for us to get lunch at Belle's. Life was good. But what's even better than good? Great. Life was about to be great. 2. On the way in I saw a strange man outside wearing sunglasses. He looked at me. Friend or foe? I ran through a list of my options. Run. Stand my ground. Kiss. But then I realized I recognized him. This wasn't a stranger. This was a friend. 3. "Hey," I said. "Hey," he said back at me. Casey. We knew each other. I mentioned I was about to dine at Belle's and he immediately complimented the establishment. "Do you know who Harry Mack is?" I told him I didn't. "He's a freestyle rapper on tiktok. I saw him eating here once. I told him I like his videos when we were both in the bathroom." In the bathroom? Or in the line for the bathroom? I didn't follow up with any questions and left the conversation bewildered. 4. I sat down inside, waiting for Jess & Kora. We had eaten here together many times and this excited me. Nothing quite like eating lunch with your friends. The only thing better would be if you were getting massages from beautiful men and women. The thought brought a smile to my face. The kind of smile that hurts your cheeks so much that you wish pain was only temporary. 5. Jess showed up. Shortly after Kora did as well. The boys were back at it again. I looked around. I could tell everybody was aware of who we were and what we were doing. I even caught a stray look from a table of three men that was tinged with a tear. Jealous of the friendship we so effortlessly commanded. It was as if we were massaging each other's minds with our words. This is the kind of experience one can expect while in the presence of Zed C. from Yelp. The kind of experience you read online and think is fake but is actually realer than reality. The kind of experience that can only be contained with two slices of bagel. 6. From the jump, we were talking Area 51. The laughs were as plentiful as the refills on our cups of coffee (frequent!) But the happiness could only take us so far. It was only a matter of time until we began looking at the walls and the photos that covered them. Photos of people, of bagels, of everything that wasn't... us. There wasn't a photo on the wall of us. Zed C. from Yelp and Jess & Kora. I don't believe in divine justice, but we do what we can to form some level of fairness in a galaxy bent on chaos. Entropy consumes us all but... if Belle's could put a photograph of the three of us on their wall... maybe hope isn't just a false promise of what's to come. Maybe life could exceed great and become... excellent. The same tear I saw in the stranger's eye populated Jess' eye. Kora's eye. & mine as well. We shut our eyes and pretended that this moment never happened. The boys were back at it once again! 7. Our food arrived. I had ordered the ECA, the egg, cheese and avocado mash bagel. Everything. At home I only get plain because the seeds go everywhere making my kitchen into a literal hellscape. Here at Belle's? I indulge myself. So what if a seed doesn't land on the plate. They'll clean it up. They always do. It's why we keep coming back. That and the quality of the food. The ECA is encased in a god-tier bagel with the type of eggs that are so fluffy you could've sworn you bit into a cloud. Every bite is a reminder of the strength of modern civilization and the many sacrifices we make to be a part of something bigger (and tastier) than our own selves. 8. Eventually the conversation spilled over the edge and one of us waved a server down. One that we were friendly with. "How can we get our photo on the wall?" She wasn't receptive. But she offered a possibility... "We could put a mirror on the wall and you'd see yourself on the wall." Jess laughed loudly and as she left he told us, "She thinks we're stupid." & you know what? If she did we'd be okay with it. Because that's the type of guys we are. We roll with the punches and get down with the lunches. 9. I'd like to quickly respond to the review written by "S A." in which they said "This place is NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY" because they were forced to wait in line like everybody else. Because of their "hungry kids" they wanted everybody else to get behind them. Sounds like your "family" isn't RESTAURANT FRIENDLY. Maybe it's about time you got in line and learned to respect the rules of the culinary tradition known as "waiting until it's your turn". 10. I left Belle's feeling better than I did when I walked in. I was refreshed, I was quenched. I patted my belly and let out a sigh. Life was great. It was all downhill from here. Then I turned around and looked at Belle's. A reminder of what was to come. The boys would be back at it once again. I smiled a final time. This time it was permanent. I've never stopped smiling since.

Unfortunately, what…read morereally holds it back is the price point and the overwhelming hype--both from long lines and TikTok buzz--that doesn't quite match the experience. The scale tips more toward the downside when it comes to the bagels themselves. The toppings aren't particularly unique, or consistent, and the bagel had a noticeably firm texture that didn't stand out in a good way. What initially drew me in--and ultimately prompted this review, my first review--was the coffee. After trying 50+ coffee shops over the past 2 years alone, I can honestly say this was one of the more disappointing lattes I've had. I ordered a whole milk latte, and the best way to describe it is simply: watery. It wasn't milk-forward, not sweet, and surprisingly not even very coffee-forward. Instead, it had a slightly herbal, almost oily, burnt-bean flavor that felt diluted with water. I also ordered the carrot cake latte, which had the same base issue. The carrot cake foam helped mask it a bit, but it tasted more like a strong sugar cookie flavor than anything close to carrot cake. In the end, giving grace, perhaps it was just a "bad barista day". Overall, it's not terrible--but definitely not worth the hype or the price. *If visiting on the weekend arrive before 9:30 to beat the line if you dare.*
