    Cool chandelier!

I love this little cafe, especially the morning server! She's so friendly and she remembered my OJ + croissant order two days in a row! If you are staying at the Hotel PerLA or in the neighborhood, be sure to stop in for the freshest orange juice and an incredible warm croissant!! This is also a handy spot to wait for your car if you have checked in your car with the Valet service overnight. Right inside the Valet waiting spot.

Gorgeous coffee shop on the first floor of the Hotel Per La. Got a hot caramel latte, very yummy. Sweet enough to taste the caramel but definitely could taste the strongly brewed coffee underneath. Would have liked more milk foam, but that's a personal preference and even then this is the best latte I've had in awhile. Also got the ham and thai basil croissant. Interesting how there was no cheese but I barely noticed with how crispy and buttery the pastry was! Perfectly toasted--I devoured it happily. They charge a default 4% surcharge to all orders but even then my total came out to $13.67 without additional tip, so pretty standard for a fancy cafe. Beautiful interior, bathed in bright afternoon sunlight. Exactly what I needed as a change of pace. Definitely worth the visit!

Great coffee & quick pastry options - the barista was so nice and gave our toddler some juice in a mini espresso cup which he absolutely loved. Amazing service all around!

Located on the first floor of Hotel Per La. The cafe has absolutely amazing views and delicious coffee and bakery. Staffs are friendly and professional. A wonderful breakfast choice for you to start off your day in downtown LA.

A view with a side of coffee. What a beautiful space to enjoy a brew. You will be transported from the nitty gritty outside to a miniature European getaway. Surprisingly reasonable prices for the lovely surroundings. Coffee is outstanding, the muffin was just ok.

They do not serve cold brew but the Einspanner Black does the charm for me. Their matcha is also good as it is not too sweet nor too bitter. The fan favorite is the Wagyu slider. I personally like the egg salad one more since I am not a meat on meat person but the bacon wagyu slider is better. I would say this place is the better version of Community Goods and does not have as long of a wait. Note - kitchen food is not served until 9:30AM so if you're an early riser or trying to get in and out, you will be out of luck. I got the Einspänner, which was on the sweeter side but still very satisfying. But honestly not by far the best.... The space is super modern and chic, with designer furniture and lighting throughout. Apparently, the pieces are available for purchase upon request, which gives the café more of a curated design-showroom feel. There's casual seating inside that works well for working, plus a nicer dining setup on the outdoor balcony. This place is definitely hidden! Parking is inside the apartment building, followed by two elevator rides up. Luckily, the signage makes it pretty easy to navigate. You get 30 minutes of free validated parking, but there can be a line and drinks come out a little slowly, so the validation time may not always be enough. Overall, a really cool spot if you're looking for good matcha in a unique setting.

It's a very cute and cozy coffee shop and there was no line when we arrived. The menu had a huge selection of different coffee and tea drinks and also a seasonal menu. The staff were very kind and patient and swiftly prepared the Vienna Latte and Hojicha Latte we ordered. The Vienna Latte is so visually stunning, the layers of white milk, brown espresso, thick white cream, brown cocoa powder and Biscoff layered on top of each other against the dark green logo was so aesthetic. Having a sip before mixing the Vienna latter was incredible, the sweet cream followed with the nutty strong espresso flavour then getting a refreshing splash of milk made a great combo with the Biscoff. I actually liked the drink less after its all mixed because it was too creamy for my taste. (I normally like my coffee black) My hojicha latte was great, but it was also too milky for me. So I went up and asked if it would taste good dirty, with an espresso shot in it, and the barista said yes. I ordered an espresso shot and instead of charging me full price, they only charged me the add on espresso shot for the drink! ($1.50 instead of $4) It was very kind of them since it was absolutely my mistake for not ordering the right drink in the first place. The shot added much depth and flavour to the hojicha latte I was craving. Thanks for the wonderful service. I'm definitely coming back to try their other specialty drinks.

A few different YouTubers raved about ROK Coffee & Tea, so I decided to try them out... and it definitely lived up to the recommendations! The MATCHA DUO was EXCEPTIONAL and delicious! It had the perfect amount of sweetness, the perfect creaminess, and the matcha wasn't bitter at all. You can tell they use really good, high-quality matcha because not only could I taste the quality, I could feel it in my energy level too. My sister got the MANGO MATCHA DUO with oat milk and absolutely loved it. My sister's coworker tried the SPARKLING YUZU MATCHA and said it was delicious! She loved that the yuzu flavor wasn't overpowering and said the matcha tasted very high quality. We also got the STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE MATCHA DUO because it was recommended as one of their top picks. We gave it to another one of her coworkers, and she finished it so quick! She said it tasted like a dessert and raved about how delicious and amazing it was! There's seating area in front of the café and as well as inside. The inside is really cute and had a nice atmosphere. The best time to go is early in the morning when open. Customer service was exceptional! Everyone was very kind while at the same time quick and attentive to the line. If there tends to be a line, it moves pretty quickly, and our drinks were ready fast after we ordered. If you get lucky, you can find street parking, but be careful parking on Olympic Blvd. during certain times. Not to worry though because they do have a parking structure, which makes things much easier. Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROK Coffee & Tea! Everything we tried gets a 10/10 from us! The quality of the matcha, the flavors, the customer service, and the overall experience were all excellent. We will most definitely be back!!!

So we decided to come here for coffee or tea and ended up having a really nice time. I used to come here quite often about four years ago. Back then, I really liked their Einspänner and ordered it several times. But the last time I came, I thought it was way too sweet, so I hadn't been back since. It had actually been a REALLY long time since I last visited. And when I used to come here four years ago, I always came in the morning or around lunchtime. Last night was my first time ever coming here at night. My friend told us that they are open until midnight, so that's why we decided to come here after dinner. I had heard that parking here can be a nightmare because there aren't enough parking spaces and people have a hard time finding a spot. But once again, my parking luck was AMAZING! A car pulled out right in front of me just as I arrived, so I was able to park very easily. Another friend arrived later than I did, and she said she couldn't find a parking spot at all. She drove around for quite a while looking for one before finally finding street parking. Last night, we also had some tiramisu, and since I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine, I decided to have a caffeine-free ade instead of coffee or tea. It was a little sweet for my taste, but it was ok. We sat outside on the outdoor patio and talked and talked and talked. We had such a fun time together! However, it was actually pretty cold outside last night. I remember thinking that it felt surprisingly chilly. But what was even crazier was how FREEZING cold it was inside the café! They had the air conditioning turned up so high that both my friends and I felt like we were going to freeze to death. The restroom is inside, and I also went inside to get some water, so I mentioned to one of the male employees that it was freezing inside. He told me that they didn't feel cold at all because they were working, and that THEY were actually feeling really hot. I went back to our table and told my friends what he had said, and they were like, "WHAT?! We're freezing to death over here!" The parking lot here is actually pretty large, so I was wondering why it was so difficult to find a parking spot. Apparently, at night, the left side is the café, while on the right side there is a bar where people can drink and also play games. There was a huge line of people waiting outside the bar last night, so I'm guessing that's probably why the parking lot gets so crowded and it's hard to find a spot. It was also pretty chilly outside last night because of the low temperature, so one thing I wished they had on the outdoor patio was heaters. That would have made sitting outside much more comfortable on a cold night.

Seating is limited, though they do offer a few outdoor tables and a bench inside while you wait for your drinks. The service was great. The employees were friendly, welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. As for the coffee, it unfortunately wasn't my favorite. I tried the Cloud Latte and found it a bit too thick, lacking the smoothness and flavor I was hoping for. I also tried the Cinnamon Cloud, which was smoother but still tasted fairly bitter to me. Coffee preferences are subjective, of course, but the flavor profile just didn't quite hit the mark for me. That said, I enjoyed everything else about the experience and would be willing to come back and try a few different drinks from the menu. The service and ambiance were definitely highlights of the visit.

This was one of the closer coffee spot with good reviews that I found near the kbbq place (Seogwan by Yellow Cow Kbbq) my family and I ate at for lunch. It was about 0.5miles (3 mins drive). The coffee shop is super large, bright, and has nice background music. There are plenty of seats for people to hang out or study. There are also street parking but can be difficult to cross the street due to cars driving by so quickly without a pedestrian crosswalk on one side. I ordered their signature drink which was the orange espresso tonic with one extra shot for my husband, and the double mango matcha for myself. Both of us really enjoyed the drinks, especially the orange espresso tonic. It was refreshing, clean, and easy to drink. Normally, they include double shots of espresso, which may have tasted stronger for me since my husband wanted three shots, and I usually stick with two shots. The double mango matcha uses fresh fruit syrup so the mango flavor was not too strong and my drink was very creamy due to the signature mango cream on top. Usually, I would enjoy a creamy matcha but it made me more thirsty on a hot day. The service took a bit of time since they had to mix my matcha the legit way with the bamboo whisk. The matcha tasted like premium, ceremonial matcha since it was stronger and authentic in taste. Overall, both drinks were enjoyable but if I had to choose one, I would go with the orange espresso tonic even though I love mango matcha!

I came late morning to grab a Flat white. And it was strong despite its hobbit size--8oz-- appearance albeit good quality. The female barista who wore a pulchritudinous blue checkered, white folded sleeves that almost matched my blue/white striped long-sleeved shirt was assiduous. I could have absconded with her. lol.
