I am not from the area, but my dentist is located in Wilton. I was in need of some caffeine and breakfast after my early dentist appointment. I am glad I stumbled upon Café Dolce. The chai tea was incredible. It is not that fake syrup thing other bigger companies use. I also got a croissant filled with spinach and cheese. I forgot exactly what cheese it was, but it was honestly the best croissant I've had in a while. If you like savory croissants, I will recommend that one. I will definitely be returning here.

Cute place in an unassuming small shopping center near the Merritt Parkway. Excellent service, coffee and food! Purchased an almond latte and a coconut latte - both were hot and delicious! Had a ham egg and cheese breakfast sandwich (panini?) along with an almond croissant, blueberry muffin, and a piece of apple cake (seasonal item) and all were fresh and delicious! We will definitely be back! Friendly, helpful, and attentive staff!

Great small restaurant, only opened till 3pm. Many choices of omelets, pastries, crepes, sweets, great coffee. Very noisy, very busy in the morning. My croissant egg/ham/ cheese omelet was quite copious, and delicious. My husband omelet was as good, no bread on the side.

I was in the area on a Family Food Adventure away from home, and I Yelp-searched to see if there were any noteworthy coffee places to visit. Cafe Dolce certainly fit the bill. I ordered a black iced coffee. It was smooth and rich. Perhaps a South American or Central American-based blend. It was very well executed. A cut above for coffee places that served this style of iced coffee. It was also reasonably priced, which I'm paying more attention to as I've noticed many places are charging coffee drink prices for their least expensive black cold coffee option. Cheers to Cafe Dolce for being reasonable. I took my coffee to go, but I observed a thriving inside and outside dining/drinking area. I didn't order food, but the desserts and pastries I observed looked top notch for a coffee place. Cafe Dolce has earned my recommendation. Five Stars.

Absolutely love this place. Their food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. I have had their coffee, panini, crepes, pastries. All of them were delicious every time. The Service is quick and a great place to have ur morning coffee and get ur day started. I love their coffee art as well makes my hectic and chaotic day a little better!! My go to spot for a quick bit and I have taken almost all my friends and family here. And we come back for more.

Best coffee shop ever. Super busy but fast service and amazing food European style. I would like to thank the owner to keep all the best ingredients to make the pastry just as good as home.

Nice post Covid sitting area. Hope it stays!

This is the best bakery I know of around Connecticut. We are so blessed to have this European bakery so close. On weekends, they offer wonderful strudels - cheese, apple and others. Love everything they offer. Hope they keep going strong for years to come.

It was quite busy when we arrived on a late Sunday a.m. in January. Tables were filled and there was a line for ordering. We decided on a tomato cheddar soup and the Churn it Up sandwich with Havarti and provolone. We were told the wait would be 40 mins, giving us the option to wait it out or go elsewhere. We stuck it out and the food was at our table in less than 20 mins. The sandwiches were ooey gooey toasted cheesiness and paired perfectly with the creamy tomato soup. It came with a lighty dressed arugula salad. I had a freshly brewed ice tea and my dining partner got a Dr. Brown's soda. The breakfast rush was soon over but people were still coming in to eat and grab take out while we enjoyed our meals. They also offer beers and wines and hot chocolate. The entire place was very clean, including the restrooms, although I did not see any table wiping going on. Staff were smiling and polite. Plenty of parking in lot shared with other business.

The staff was super friendly, and I ordered a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. It was made on a Brioche roll with a fried egg. Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of the egg or the sandwich overall. It was okay, probably a three-star kind of thing. Next time I went back, I tried the Calise sandwich, which has chicken cutlet, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and balsamic glaze. I asked for the broccoli rabe on the side because I know everyone makes it differently. I get that it can be bitter, but some places make it taste amazing without the bitterness, so I wanted it on the side. The sandwich was really good, so I'd give it four stars, especially since the breakfast one was just three in my book. Sometimes you gotta visit a place a couple of times to really get a feel for their food. I wasn't really a fan of the broccoli rabe--it was a bit too bitter for me. But the sandwich itself was tasty, with well-seasoned chicken and really fresh mozzarella. Not sure if they make the mozzarella in-house, but it's delicious. It tasted just like you'd expect from an authentic Italian deli. Very good. Third time I went, I tried the Mother Clucker, which has a chicken cutlet, Russian dressing, cheddar cheese, and bacon. I wanted to try it because I'd seen it being made during my last visit and it looked awesome. It took about ten minutes to get ready. When I opened it up, I realized it had melted cheddar, not sliced like I thought, but it was all good. The sandwich was tasty, but a bit over the top with the bacon and melted cheddar--almost too much. I think using sliced cheddar would bring everything together better. The melted cheese kinda takes away from it, in my opinion. The bacon was crispy even with the cheesy sauce on top, and the chicken was nicely seasoned. I definitely plan to come back and try the Chopped Italian Combo. The staff's always friendly and welcoming, and it's a solid spot if you're looking for breakfast, with plenty of breakfast platters and other menu items that might catch your eye.

That response alone was disappointing, but what made it worse was asking to speak with the owner -- who refused to come speak with me directly. As a returning customer, that level of dismissiveness was genuinely disrespectful. I understand off days happen, but how you handle a concern says everything about your business. As a Middle Eastern food lover, I was blown away by their shawarma platter, salads, and everything else on the menu it was all top-notch. I visited New York a month ago and then headed to Connecticut. While there, I searched for the best restaurants and found this fast-food spot. I absolutely loved it! The way they received customers and the level of hospitality was outstanding. The people there were amazing. For me great customer service makes the whole experience and they nailed it. Now, let's talk about the food it tasted incredible. They told me they also serve biryani and haleem and as a huge haleem fan, I had to try it. I'll never forget that taste! I even asked to meet the chef and they introduced me to Chef Bala. He made an unforgettable haleem that truly tasted like the original Hyderabadi Nizami haleem. I asked him how he made it and he told me he's from Hyderabad and does this work with passion not just for money. You could really feel that in the food. The prices were surprisingly affordable but the food was high-end. The quality, the people, the taste everything was superb. Honestly, this was one of my best experiences in years. I'm definitely coming back again, at least for the haleem! Their biryani was also incredibly flavorful it felt like I was eating back home in Hyderabad, India. You guys are number one! Please maintain the same quality and standards you're well on your way to being the best in North America. I was in Norwalk, Connecticut for three days and I wholeheartedly enjoyed your food. The gyros, salads with egg, chicken sandwiches, wings, falafel you name it, you gave 100%! I love the food and service.
