Service was a bit slow so they get 4.5 stars. Sakura matcha was layered, which was pretty. Each layer had its own pleasant flavour. After mixing I couldn't really taste the Sakura, but it was still a good rich matcha drink. The chewy pearls at the bottom had a nice texture. Poop waffle was warm & crisp & came in a Japanese style toilet. There was a choice of custard, red bean or Nutella but I chose to hew to the theme. The crumb was fluffy & quite fragrant. It could have more Nutella but it was free with a checkin so I really couldn't complain.

Coming from the western United States, my daughter made a list of about 15 places in Toronto she wanted to go ... And this place was #1 on her list! After reading the reviews, my wife and I told her it might not be what we expected, but it was everything we hoped it to be! We went a little after noon on a Friday in August and the place was completely empty when we walked in. Torched Salmon Bowl - perfectly seared and flavorful salmon in a cute presentation. Mango Korean Snow Bing-Poo - Great dessert! Lychee Korean Snow Bing-Poo - Tasty Ube Coconut Toile Paper Rolls - Yumm! Vietnamese Coffee and Lyche Sakura Soda Downsides -We ordered a Lychee Poop Waffle but were given the Lychee Korean Snow Bing-Poo. We wanted to experience the waffle but were fine with the Bing-Poo because it was good! -If you are tall, going to the bathroom (whether it be 1 or poo) it was not be fun with a shirt ceiling. -I asked if I could hold our six-year-old as they rolled the ice cream (toilet paper), which is something she's never seen before and they said "No, that's something we don't do." I don't think it would've harmed anybody and we wouldn't have been in anybody's way if I just held her and let her watch the process. I know I've watched, other places as they have done this. Our 2 year old spilled the entire Lychee Sakura Soda before we even took a sip and they cleaned it up for us and gave us a new one!

Standard Bingsu experience. Been ordering at this establishment over the years and some of the…read morepromos in addition to the punch card has been phased out. The prices have went up, but the portions have remained the same, if not a little bit less. I understand inflation, but I would think that they wouldn't phase out incentivized promotions, but to each establishment their own. The wait time is horrendous, and the workers all seem to be in their own space and timing for when they want to get things done. Finished tables took forever to be reset.

So we decided to come here. Midland is a well known location that not hard to find. There was 1 more hours to be closed, when we walked in. But the casher was not rush me. She just let us know we could scan the QR code for the menu on the table, and come up to the counter to order, when we are ready. We were debating which one to get, Golden Mango or Matcha Mango Bingsu. The cashier said Golden Mango is giving different texture, even though it's all mango flavor; the Matcha Mango is using matcha shaved ice as base, then top with Mango fresh fruit. So we final decision was the Golden Mango Bingsu. Once we ordered, we got a electric alert board. We won't wait long, the alert board was beeping when our order was ready. I went back to the counter to get my Bingsu. This desert is not big that costs $12.55+tax. Sago has no taste. Fresh mango is on the top, mango base is mango flavored shaded ice, which is like ice cream that smooth. Mango sauce as layer is in the middle of the base, which makes stronger taste. Overall, it's pretty tasty and fresh. That's another type of ice cream for me. The store was open until late night, and I was seeing couples coming in. That reminded me long time ago when we were young. Enjoy the desert and also enjoy the late night life.

Anderson's Frozen Custard - Roast beef

Today was my first time enjoying Anderson's Roast Beef & Frozen Custard. Probably the best roast…read morebeef on weck that I've had to date (better than Bar Bill, if you ask me). The roast beef was fresh, full of flavor, the horseradish added the right amount of zest, the au jus was breaming with flavorful drippings, and the Cajun fries were so hot that they burned (that's how I love it ). A nice young lady took the time to assist me at the front counter, promptly. She was aware that it was my first time in the restaurant and guided me with a generous and gentle attitude. She told me what "most people" like and how most dress their roast beef sandwich. She made the ordering process easy and helped narrow my focus considering I was running on fumes and getting "hangry". The restaurant was clean, inside and out (even the restrooms were tidy). There were a variety of fountain drinks to choose from and the selections were unique compared to other competitors. Originally, was headed for the Taco Bell next door, but I'm sure glad my stomach and nose led me to Anderson's. Next time, I'm trying the custard and getting an extra roast beef to take home. A little pricy but I'll always be more frivolous when I'm getting quality food. Thank you, Anderson's!

If you like her, have never been here before, think retro diner meets modern layout. They serve the classics here. Burgers, chicken, salads, sandwiches, and even hot dogs. They also have an ice cream parlor with so many offerings that you can get dinner and dessert all at once. There is a nostalgic spot back in our hometown just like Anderson's and that's what it reminds us of when we were there. The service is great here. They make everything fresh and quickly. We got our food to go and it was still hot when we got home. The grilled chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy and the toppings were fresh so it gave a good crunch from the lettuce and tomato. The salad was so large and filling and you can never go wrong with their fries. We also got a small vanilla soft serve for our son and he loved it. It was a very good soft serve with a great flavor and thickness. Whenever you're looking for something for everyone in the family, Anderson's is the way to go. We will definitely be back!

The menu is quite extensive, since every dessert looks great, it's hard to pick one. We had the same delicious Dubai chocolate crepe, it was so yummy! Their menu has remained the same, but this time around I noticed a few trendy items which was fun. They also have 4 different kinds of waffles to choose from too -- from Belgian, liege, and croffle. I ordered their new ube flavour (not sure if this is a limited time offering) croffle. I was so glad I got the croffle because I really enjoyed the chewy texture. I tried my friend's liege and it was really heavy and had a bit more of a savoury taste. The ice cream scoops they give are also huge. The price is slightly higher, I guess it's the inflation after all these years... after tax and tip the one waffle cost me almost $30 which to me is insane for dessert. Overall their stuff still hits the spot.. very fun selection of flavours and a cute vibe for a dessert hangout. We came shortly after a pretty big dinner which was our first mistake. Make sure to come hungry because their waffles are huge and filling.
