November 6,2016 Sunday morning me and my husband looking for a place to drink some coffee and I need some hot tea lol came to cafe collage because the other coffee shop was closed boo! But I'm glad they were or we would have never came to this place. It's GREAT!!! I order a English Breakfast latte delicious hit the spot! My husband ordered the Spanish latte ! Let me just tell you he LOVED!!!! It said it was great coffee. We also ordered bagels I it Nutella and banana bagel yum! Husband got a cream cheese bagel both were so good nice and crunchy not to soft or not to hard. Just perfect ! We will be back! We don't live in Venice but we will try to be regulars lol read more

I went there, no hi or welcome or anything. So I asked for something with caffeine but told the lady that I don't like coffee and she kept telling me all they have is the espresso when I ordered their caffeinated tea two times before so I knew they had the tea. So then another lady came and told me they do have tea so I ordered one and they basically rushed me out, I wasn't offered any honey or sugar anything and when I asked for sugar they only said "yeah we have some". But then she already handled the next costumer so I just left. Basically spend 2,50$ for a tea that ended up being tossed. I absolutely love Cafe Collage! They have the friendliest staff and every single thing I've had is delicious. I work around the corner and consider myself a "regular" and have never been disappointed. My favorite drink is the "Sarah Special" (iced nutella latte w/boba... it's waaaaay better than it sounds). This is a great spot for tourists and locals alike. Definitely a spot the embodies the spirit of Venice and feels like a true part of the community here. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I like organic food but this was definitely not anything that I've ever had. I had ordered a turkey club to be on the safe side and I ended up getting some weird turkey sandwich with cranberry's hanging out of it. I politely told the woman behind the counter and she went to the back and I could hear her yell at the guy... then I finally got my sandwich and I could barely finish it. My go to coffee shop in Venice. Go to for a good reason. The staff is awesome and will remember your orders. Lines are never too long. The drinks are of good quality and taste. Expresso lovers will be pleased. If you are health concious the tea's and the green tea lattes are legit. If you are looking for a light meal croissant sandwiches are recommended. read more

I paid $4 for freshly squeezed orange juice which was not freshly squeezed. Beware, the $8 breakfast burrito is no bueno. It has a wasabi undertone, and not in a good way. The burrito is all lettuce with little egg which made it pretty soggy. It was dripping with egg juice and lettuce sweat. Very distasteful. Whenever I'm craving coffee or a snack at Venice boardwalk this is def my one-stop shop. They have great coffee, sandwiches, bagels, and smoothies. Being a self-proclaimed café-addict, I have spent hours at a time here, all at different times of the day, and its always busy. And busy with locals, not annoying tourists. Well located. All the pastries are hanmade by a pastry chef! Raspberry cheesecake was awesome! Nice and inviting decor. Next time i am going to try the soups which are made from scratch. Will definitely revisit the next time we are in town. read more

The food is great. You just have to get past the condescending red headed witch taking orders. Was second in one of two lines, the other line was out out the door, no one behind us. She walked away to do something so now we are in line with no person taking orders. Thought maybe we were in the pickup line. I asked are we in line to order she said I'll be right back. Paul is the best barista ever. Once you enter the door he will greet you with a smile, he makes your drink with so much care. He works fast and really knows customer service. Food is great! Avocado toast is a must try. I also had the bombolonis before its soo good wonder why they dont have it anymore and the cinnamon rolls!! Come and check them out!! My dad and I enjoyed brunch at cafe Collage. The atmosphere is busy, and the workers are friendly, quick and attentive to take your order. The food was so good my dad was terribly disheartened that he accidentally dropped the last half of his sandwich while eating it. Had we been in town longer we would have gone back for another. Opened my 2nd Office aside from Santa Barbara now on Venice Beach Boardwalk and always searching for best Mochas, Chai Tea and Food, Like Sandwiches. I have to say Cafe Collage is worth the trip up the boardwalk 1 mile. We were visiting the boardwalk and wanted to grab some coffee. This spot is on a corner and had signs boasting latte, coffee...hard to miss, we decided to give it a go. The atmosphere is so chill and artistic. I ended up having a nutella latte and a slice of carrotcake. Both very delicious. They had interesting things on the menu that I'd like to try on my next visit. The prices were reasonable and the customer service was also very friendly and inviting. There are tables to sit indoors, but unfortunately no public restroom. I'd definitely go again to try out another dessert as well as a coffee treat. read more

It's a convenient location which is close to the bus stop and caters primarily to tourists. The coffee is mediocre and the espresso drinks range from bad to worst. The food offerings are subpar at best. But, if you're a tourist that wants the convenience and doesn't mind stepping through the homeless camped all around around, this place is for you. read more

Cafe Collage is convenient if you live, work, or are passing through the area for lunch. Their food is decent and reasonably priced. I would say the average sandwich or salad costs around $6. They also have smoothies and cookies and such. read more

I visit Collage 3-5 times a week. it is not only the locals coffee shop but it is the best coffee shop AND CAFE in the area. i love the bagel and lox. great sandwiches as well, made to order and very reasonable in price. also very clean. only draw back is the lack of air conditioning on hot summer days. read more

This place is underrated and reminds me of the old Venice. Not pretentious, hip, or expensive. No long line, plenty of comfortable seating. We came across this little gem accidentally. Went in thinking it was Mao's kitchen and we don't regret a bit about our mistake :). Dishes looked healthy and tasty. Look. You are in the heart of the tourism of Venice. But the food is good and the hot bevs are great. Free wireless internet (I sat here for 3 days ((no, not all at once)) looking for a new apt in Venice). Good tea selection, a you can get a discounted refill. But don't do what I watched so many people do. They would dig in the trash, find an old togo cup and then come bring it in to get their cheap refill. This practice is not only unethical but it's pretty gross too. Come on. Either make the extra buck or make your own tea/coffee. read more

Great place for a very unpretentious and classic breakfast. Egg sandwich was great. Items are not overpriced. Will be back.
