I was looking for a quick bite of food. Told a burger would take 20 minutes. I was told I could get a sandwich in five minutes. I tipped $5 on a $10 sandwich at the time of payment for this service. 20 minutes later when I inquired where my sandwich was, I was told to "hold on sweety, it will be a few more minutes". I left after 25 minutes without my sandwich. read more

Stop by today while out for a motorcycle ride. Always wanted to stop today we did. Live band which was a lot of fun. Had a pastrami burger and it was excellent and the fries were good too. $12.95 for burger and fries a bit high but the food was good so I don't mind so much. The gal who took our order was was sweet. If you are scared of the the virus I would not stop in because they are business as usual which didn't bug me at all. Bless you guys and we will be back. Only 50 miles down the road from us read more

The service was excellent, and the food came quickly. One of the best burgers I've ever had. read more

Eclectic but fun place smack in the middle of nowhere! Their breakfast burrito has gravy in it. That was different.

Hidden gem that we found driving to Big Bear. It was a Saturday afternoon and this place was jumping. Live music and delicious BBQ, nice people and great atmosphere. The BBQ is probably the best we have had in SoCal - cooked to perfection, juicy and melting in your mouth. The fried pickles are to die for! The experience was one of a kind and will definitely be back! read more

This place is amazing. The ambiance of all the junkers out front and the license plates and go karts inside. So cool. Staff is extremely friendly. And food is awesome! I got the bacon burger and it was bomb. The fries were some of the best I've ever had! Love it and will for sure be back! read more

Food wasn't good at all... it literally had no flavor. Wasn't seasoned at all.. and my food was extremely cold. So disappointed because I've been wanting to stop by this place for a while now. Will not be going back.:( read more

Great music good food dancing friendships Have lots of different bands on weekends little flea market . Employees are nice . Great place to stop into i whilst in Lucerne Valley read more

Had a late breakfast and they made egg and cheese burritos with various things added for our dining pleasure. It's a hole in the wall kind of a biker place. Looks like they have barbecue outside where people still sit a lot and it seems like a good community gathering place. Food was good enough ice tea tasted refreshing. I think it's probably a little redneck in case that matters to anybody looking at this review. Lots of old license plates on the wall was interesting to look at while we ate I had to order at a window and serve ourselves the condiments, etc. read more

For sure this cafe is worth many more return trips. The decor is pretty cool and the people working there are pretty laid back and friendly. I don't end up in this stretch of roads often so finding this place is nice. I've got to thank my clients for picking this cafe for lunch. I had the carne asada salad and a bowl of chili for lunch. The chili was nice. I talked about it so that my client ordered 1 to go lol They have bbq but only on the weekends. They also serve beer, but no draft, only bottled. But the prices are good, $3 to $5 bucks, unlike some places that charge much more than that. read more

This place has amazing BBQ but you've got to get there early if you want all the choices because the tend to sell out of some items. We tend to go to this spot on the weekends and always leave satisfied. This is not a "Fine Dining" experience but the fare is better than you would expect from a on a desert highway in the #Middleofknowwhere Stop in on your way to Johnson Valley for King of the Hammers or any of the 100's of other off road events in the Lucerne/Johnson OHV area and it's like an off road vehicle show! read more

Super fun place to go by yourself or with a group. Outdoor seating, BBQ and stage where live bands play. The Friday afternoon I went BloodShot Cosmonaut were playing. ALL types of food to satisfy everyone. Dennis the cook at the BBQ was the best!!! The meat fell off the bone. Highly recommend the BBQ and get a shake. The best shake I have ever had in my life!! Walk around, read the signs, check out the bathrooms. Fun!! Say hi to Kathy the owner. She's hands on, working hard but not too busy to say hi and chat a bit. read more

First time here at 11:30 am on a Friday. So many things on the wall to look at when we were waiting. The cook and cashiers were friendly and helpful, and the recommendations were right on. The BBQ meats were tender and not over sauced; we thought we would have so much leftover but ended up with only 3 chunks leftover because it's that good. Highly recommend the BBQ. read more

Kathy and Alyn have always been great to the offroad and motorsports community. They've embraced the SoCal Gambler 500 community with open arms. Case and point, we had a G500 rally this weekend. She also told me its disgusting and who likes that, but whatever, got my butterscotch shakes. Seriously though.Good food, good people, great owners. read more

Awesome Tasty Huge Portions of Food Great Prices My Bride & I stopped in & had an amazing lunch enjoying the Cafe's beautiful outside patio. I had the pork ribs, corn on the cob, beans & sausage. The ribs were scrumptious & the meat fell off the bones. The sausage was by far the best I've ever eaten. The corn was moist & flavorful. The beans were soooooo good. I couldn't finish the ribs so I will have great leftovers. The sausage was too good & I bought more to enjoy later with my ribs. My Bride had the BEST BLT sandwich she has ever had. She also had the mozzarella sticks. We even bought a loaf of homemade banana nut bread -- very very tasty. The Staff was excellent, friendly & professional. The Cafe & bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely be back. read more

Rude girl behind counter. Prices are insane. If you like overpriced burgers and rude treatment. This place is for you.

We recently stopped by the Cafe 247 while on a ride with my MC. Food was great and the prices were fair. I had the all meat breakfast burrito and it was more than I could finish. My brother has the bbq ribs. He gave me one and boy those were tasty. We got to meet and talk to the owner Cathy. She was super nice and friendly. PROS: Pulled BBQ pork sandwich, service was great. CONS: a Donald trump sticker above your restroom door! I actually have a gay friend who actually walked out because he seen that Trump sticker. Makes certain people not feel wanted. Quick way to lose business...please don't mix good food with politics!!! read more

We were hungry for lunch en route to Big Bear on a random Sunday. Coming into Lucerne Valley, we were greeted with BBQ smoke and the men manning the grill trying to get us to come in. After stopping at the Valero down the street, I yelped the place and found good reviews so we stopped by. The BBQers that flagged us down welcomed us and seemed genuinely glad we came to eat. The inside is nicely decorated with vintage license plates from every state. They have a huge menu offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, American food, Mexican food, and BBQ. All of their food looked delicious and was fairly priced. They also have cheap beer.... $4 for a sculpin!!! Yes please. We ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich and a pumpkin pie milk shake. They had to check if they still had pulled pork because it was selling faster than they were BBQing it. Good sign. The pumpkin shake was delicious with great pumpkin flavors and chunks of pie crust. All in all, this place is a gem off the road. I will stop here every time I'm in the area read more
