Beautiful cafe! There is plenty of space for studying and natural lighting. They have a bottomless drip coffee (caf and decaf) for only ~$4 which was wonderful for a long day of studying here. Went great with the raspberry croissant!, which just melts in your mouth. However I was disappointed by the sandwiches which were on the pricey side. The vegan sausage kimchi sandwich was soggy and falling apart, and although the menu said it also had roasted tomatoes and artichoke on it, mine didn't seem to include that. I was told the food is catered and thus premade so they couldn't do anything about it. That sandwich did not meet my expectations as I got it, but I feel like it has potential if spruced up. My friend got the chicken pesto sandwich and thought it tasted dry. Overall I do enjoy this place as a coffee shop and workspace, but not if coming just for lunch. read more

It is a classy, elegant, hip and in-style coffee shop that just opened 2 months ago during covid. They're actually thriving during a pandemic, which is great news because I love this place! The best? Totally the vibe. It's perfect for sitting outside on the patio under the lights WITH lots of space. Or for a rainy day, grab a seat, they're many options to choose from. It's pretty quiet for how big and spacious it is, which is nice when taking calls for work. The downfall you ask? The food is a little pricy... almost $15 including tax for a salad, but you CAN get past the price because it's such a cool spot and the Cobb Salad is delish! Also, if this is your first time in town or in the area, take note: this place is a little tricky to find. It's right across the street from Briggs and doesn't have a sign outside. I really like this place, the building is really cool and I like the atmosphere. Today I stopped by and sat with an americano for a bit before walking to the farmers market. I'm only in Omaha every other month or so for work and I usually like to try different places but I think this might end up being a go to. The food is good but I think they're a bit limited with what they can do because I don't believe they have a real kitchen to work with. The everything bagel sandwich is good because they put a nice thick slice of Gouda on there and the bacon jam is good; however, the eggs might be microwaved and the bagel itself is so so. The bombolino is good because the Black Forest ham, the thick slice of smoked cheddar, and the Italian bun, but again the eggs are microwaved. My friend had the chicken and waffle sandwich, which she said was good, but she could tell the waffles were pre made. Everything is good and I'm going to keep going back. This is such a beautiful and stunning in Café near Downtown Omaha, in Little Italy. Everything I have tried has been amazing, and I can't wait to keep testing out everything on the menu. The dirty chai latte is honestly the best one I've ever had, and although it is sweeter than most, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is nice to see a coffee shop that is more than just their coffee and they offer lots of events within their space. In addition to being a food service, they also offer their venue. I have seen bridal showers, engagement parties, and drag brunches here. These events are in a separate room so you still get the café experience even if you are not there for the event. They have comfortable chairs and couches to sit in as well as a variety of tables to sit eat or study at. They also have a great deal of outdoor seating as well and parking is always easy to find. In my opinion, this is the best coffee shop in Omaha. They have some thing for everyone and it is always clean, comfortable, welcoming, delicious, and warm. read more

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The space is cool, lots of light, plenty of seating & enough separated space that you can be in a quiet area or a louder one for chatting. The breakfast sandwiches are premade & heated. My vegetarian omelet sandwich was tasty but however it was heated left the bread, which is a baguette , soft not chewy. Just something to be aware of. The artichokes are a chopped spread on the egg part and very yummy but I couldn't really detect the spinach and mushrooms. That being said, it really was a tasty sandwich, I would order it again. I got a drip coffee, a medium roast, which was fine, it fabulous and not bad. They have both plain water and I'm guessing a daily change of flavor on the flavored water. The lavender orange water was s lovely combination. I'm in town for work and will very likely come back the next time I'm around. They do have a full bar & menu. read more

I really like this place and would have given it a higher rating except for one thing - their special events. My coffee group of 10-15 meets there every Wed 4-6. One week, one of the staff warned us that they'd be closed for a special event the next week so we had time to plan for an alternative. However, this past Wed I got there only to find they were closed for a special event and it was too late to contact more than a couple of the guys to warn them. It would be great to have consistent advance warning of special events. Barring that, we may have to move our Wed coffees to someplace more dependable. read more

This is one of those places that puts on a front like it's going to be really good, good for the earth and good for you until you look at the details like the lights on outside during the day, the eggs that taste and look like they were cooked in a microwave and coffee that was made with hate of self. I ordered a breakfast sandwich but wanted the ingredients from the brioche sandwich put on the everything bagel but that was too much for the person taking my order so I ordered an everything bagel and switched it myself. The only reason I would give them one star is because the flowers were nice if you can look past the trash from peoples tables blowing into the beds, at least it's compostable. read more

This place is such an unexpected GEM in Omaha. The lighting during the day, and the light music they play makes me feel like I can actually think and get work done here. The environment is so welcoming and peaceful unlike many coffee shops where it can be too busy. Their staff still put on a happy face despite slower service because of the number of orders. I haven't tried their food but they always seem to have a good selection. Their bake goods to go are tempting! Prices are reasonable. If you're going for just a good cup of regular coffee, this might not be for you. But try one their specialty drinks. Great space for events and work. Can work as a study space but just depends on your comfort with noise level. read more

They compost a lot and are very earth conscious here which I love. The only con is it is a little hard to find parking but the short walk is worth it for Café Postale. The food is good. We were in the neighborhood and finally got to try this restaurant with a small group of friends. The restaurant is quite beautiful and worth a visit I suppose just to walk around and admire the old postal themed photographs, comfy furniture and different themed seating areas. There is a nice outside seating area basically walled off from the street traffic. That sums up the positives of our lunchtime experience. Everything else headed downhill as soon as we ordered at the counter. You order and pay and tip and find a place to sit and wait for a server to bring you your order. And wait. And wait. Two of the 6 in our party received their meals rather promptly. The other 4 waited close to 45 minutes for theirs, which involved 2 visits from an employee, first to assure them that their food "would be out in a minute" and then agin 10 minutes later to apologize but their orders were lost, "so could I see your receipts?". Just totally unacceptable! And the food was not particularly good. I ordered an egg and veggie item and it was served warm on the outside and cool to almost cold in the middle. With everything else breaking down I figured it pointless to return it to have it properly heated. So 2 of us finished our meals before the other 4 in our group had even gotten their beverages. Just no excuses for that. Beautiful atmosphere, very mediocre food and a total breakdown in the "kitchen" (I never actually saw where the food came from). This place has a lot of potential but the current management is clueless. read more

We were so disappointed knowing all the great restaurants in Omaha. This was not a good random pick for us. We would have been better off eating at the airport. We came on a Sunday mid morning, my mimosa was delicious, but was surprised to have it served in a plastic champagne flute. My sandwich was warm and delicious, served with fluffy eggs and a bun type bread. My husband got a vegan kimchi sandwich. Baguette bread with vegan sausage patties and kimchi, which was surprisingly very delicious! The baguette was warm and soft and the kimchi was flavorful with out being overly spicy!
