Used to love the place but no longer go after their best waitress, Heather left. She was the heart of the place. She always made us feel so welcome. My son loved her and the cinnamon whipped cream she would treat him to. She affectionately called him "cinnamon boy!" Cafe Locale is not the same without Heather!

It's a bit of a wait but so well worth it! Food was fantastic and staff were so friendly. Very cute and cozy, definitely a hidden gem. My son had the Nutella stuffed French toast and he absolutely loved it. Said it was possibly his new favorite breakfast item. He decided after his French toast that he had to try the chicken cheese quesadilla, he finished that in 1 minute flat. His friend had the chocolate chip pancakes, the pancakes were so huge that he was only able to finish a quarter of it. Husband had the breakfast burrito....gigantic and stuffed to the brim with goodies! I had the egg-white and veggie omelet, absolutely loved it. Simple and big portions. There's a line for good reason! Total after everything with leftovers was very reasonable at $103.00. Highly recommended!

Cute family run breakfast spot. The staff is always friendly and happy. You can tell they enjoy the food they serve. The food is always fresh and the ingredients are seasonal. I was about to order the Vermont French toast (stuffed with apricot mascarpone & drizzled with caramel) when the waitress described and raved about the chedder biscuit w/ birria meat. I switched at the last minute and I'm so glad I did. It was delicious! The meat was tender & flavorful, the biscuit was buttery, the kale and red onion added a nice freshness and the sauce!! Not a drop left on my plate. Same with my husband's pineapple upside down pancakes. Fluffy pancakes w/ pineapple and strawberries, an orange cream drizzle and a heap of cinnamon butter. Not a drop left. It's hard to find good unique breakfast places and this one definitely fits the bill - without ringing up a large bill!

The food is amazing here. The butternut squash skillet one of my favorite but my friend got the carnitas egg Benedict outstanding. The drinks always top notch. The service is always so nice and helpful. The place has a family vibe. Will return asap.

Second time here. Love the consistency of the food and service. It's a smaller place, but there is fairly enough room between the tables, and they have bench seat at the windows and one of the walls. The sand which I had included; smoked ham, carnitas, and some other yummy stuff. Loved the hibiscus juice to break up the heartiness of the sand which. Also, the Nutella latte was very good as well!

Café Locale in Attleboro is a great spot for breakfast and lunch, where friendly staff and fresh ingredients steal the show! Come for some delicious food and you can also enjoy a cocktail! They had several cocktails on their menu and we wanted to try them all. They also have refreshers. The menu boasts locally sourced ingredients, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. I indulged in the Hangover Skillet, filled with juicy chorizo and fresh avocado - a mouthwatering combination that hit all the right spots. Also had a Bloody Mary which was flavorful with just the right amount of tang and spice. The Carnitas Skillet is a must-try recommendation - each bite bursting with flavorful and juicy goodness. Another standout was the Crab Cake Benedict. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we ordered chocolate chip pancakes to share - a perfect ending to our breakfast. While the seating may be a tad bit cramped, the warm welcome and responsive service more than make up for the wait. I hope they explore taking reservations in the near future so that it's easier to coordinate going. The parking lot is very small and is shared between Café Locale and Blue Moon. Whether you're in for breakfast or brunch, be prepared for a culinary Latinx-inspired treat that's well worth the wait!

The food is amazing! Presentation and quality customer service is everything. It's a hole in the wall but they get you in and out in no time. The artwork is impeccable. Bring your appetite because they pile it on. Very generously! And very fresh. Everything is made to order. I had crab Benedict. The Latin music is soooo relaxing. Love it, love it, love it!

The BEST fish tacos tacos on Sunday!!
    Arinne B.

This place has the BEST fish tacos. Our waitress was wonderful and let us know upfront that the tacos were phenomenal. She was a lot of fun- great energy. Encouraged my friend to try mine! She was helpful in checking about my dairy allergy . I also had a latte with almond milk-was super glad they had a nut milk available at a restaurant...pretty rare in my experience. Delighted by the art on the walls and white linen tablecloths. Highly recommend! There were families on either side of us on Sunday afternoon for lunch but this would be great for a date at night too. Note-the parking lot filled up so I parked in the alley to the right, as had quite a few others.

A place I never knew of I was taken here one night for dinner. It is a place where you can look at…read morethe menu and then sit down waiting for the order to arrive. It is simple and plan. Nothing fancy. As it was, there were not many tables taken at that time yet. But within 30 minutes the place packed up. It was locals who know this is a the place to go, grab a beer or cocktail, then sit down and wait to see what you ordered. Burgundian is a meal to enjoy while having conversations with many others. We started with the IPA beers we ordered. They also had good German beers to select. There are even other European beers available. The list is endless to have. First up to arrive was our Traditional Canadian Poutine. This is House Fries served with Cheddar Cheese Curds, hot beef gravy and fresh scallions. This can be a meal unto itself and is ideal with the beer. We also received a kids meal for a little one. It was chicken fingers and fries. It was so large an adult could have had this for dinner. There was enough left for the next day's lunch. It was fresh, tasty, breaded, and warm. Ideal. There was also Burgundian App Sampler Platter. This was a mix of 2 Arancini, 2 Halloumi Cheese Sticks, 2 Crispy Polenta "Fries" , 2 Wings served with a choice of dips. Again, it could have been a dinner, but with others it was a good dish to share while waiting for the dinner to arrive. We started with US Staycation Burger, switching the beef with chicken. It had melty Three Cheese Blend, Shredded Lettuce , Pickles, and topped with Burgundian mayo. Naturally there was a side of fries and a small salad. It was fresh and tasty and had a flavor to enjoy. Naturally, had to have Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffles. Buttermilk-Fried Chicken Thigh coated in house seasoning. There was creamy Memphis slaw, a spicy sauce you can select and a good hot honey drizzle. The waffle was fresh and enjoyable and ideal for breakfast as well. This was perfect for dinner or breakfast or anytime of the day. One special they did have, and which is not easy to find, is a good Germany Burgundian Currywurst Sausage Dog. Made with a true grilled Knockwurst Sausage it is on a toasted roll that is topped with smoked gouda cheese and caramelized onions. There is curried ketchup which is a variation of what you do find when you order this in Berlin. It too had fries on the side. The taste was good. It was similar to what I remember when living in Germany. And it is a rare find in many restaurants. But here it was. And with a German beer, it was good. Overall, Burgundian is a place to find. It is not easy, but it is there. It is small and simple. You enter and order at the counter. You can go from Beer to a coffee. From an Appy to a meal. The portions are large. The prices are good. The team is good to work with, ask questions and help. This is not a fancy place, but they will take reservations. Your choice here. A true mix of flavors, and cultures, and ideas on what to have next. I will go back just for the Currywurst. Danke.

My friend and I went on a weekday night, about 2 hours before closing so it was pretty quiet. I initially thought the bookstore was only on the first floor of the building but turns out it's a multi-story experience. There is a parking lot at the back where I parked and I was able to enter through the back door (not sure if this is the main entrance). On the first floor, they have some books, bathrooms, a check out desk, nick nacks (hats, stationery, puzzles, etc.), and most importantly, a coffee shop. The coffee shop was closing up around the time we got there so plan accordingly and do some research on their hours. as they are not the same as the bookstore. The books are clearly labeled by genre. After taking a stroll, we decided to check out the second floor which was supposed to have a little market, a stage where they host events, and some very comfortable couches along with tables and chairs. I mostly came to see if a book spoke to me, but also to get some reading in from the book I brought along with me. The lighting is good, although I sometimes prefer to have a dimmer setting for a cozier feel. We spent about 1.25 hours here, but we could have easily spent a longer time if it weren't so close to closing.

The space is cozy and welcoming, with a simple and very comfortable vibe. It's decorated nicely, with pink (not Barbie pink!) walls, some flowery touches in a few of the pictures, a leafy wall, and the cheery blackboard listing some of the special lattes, benedicts, and juices. The owner, Heather, waited on us and so we were able to get a bit of the story about how she decided to open Cafe Amore. She's been working in restaurants since high school, and always had a vision of owning her own place. Upon hearing that this corner spot was vacant, she picked a name (essentially "cafe love" since opening a restaurant IS a labor of love. The name selected means love, "Amor" for the Spanish speaking folks who were originally going to be partners but who eventually backed out, and Amore for her own Italian heritage), retrofitted the space, set the menu, and jumped in. We came in on only day 68 since opening, but we couldn't tell since everything was so well managed. Apparently, Heather does not sleep: she freshly squeezes the juices served, bakes the sourdough bread that's on the menu, and usually makes fresh muffins in different flavors every week. She's testing recipes for a house-made sourdough English muffin and planning to start growing the microgreens that top every omelet. Oh, she also makes different varieties of beads that are sold as whole loaves on a first come first serve basis on the weekends, and makes her own jelly for sale - and occasionally serves some in the cafe, if she has an available open jar. The coffee here is excellent, and comes in a regular sized mug (not the usual small diner-type serving). Our cups were refilled almost as soon as we emptied them. Along the sunny front window there is a cart full of different complementary syrups to add flavor as desired, but the coffee didn't need them for me. I had the yummy Farmers Omelet with spinach, mushrooms, peppers, onions inside and feta and avocado on top (and those delicate microgreens as garnish) - and some of that absolutely fabulous house-made sourdough that came grilled to perfection. My husband had the "make your own" and went with a simple cheese omelet. He said it was good, but next time he's going to order it with two cheeses instead of the basic cheddar only he had this time. Both omelets came with seasoned home fries. (The potatoes were perfectly cooked, but I didn't love the spice mix.) We were offered ketchup and house-made hot sauce, which was kind of a sweet and spicy blend. Heather really wants to contribute to the community she's feeding. On Thanksgiving, she'll open for a special meal with pay what you can pricing (using a QR code to pay, so no one feels obvious unwelcome if they can't pay at all). All 10 tables will be set up as one, banquet style so no one will eat alone that day. (Lots of the regular customers are widows or widowers and single people who come in weekly, by themselves. She'll have a tv set up to watch the parade too. What a fantastic new spot that really cares about the people who visit!

That being said, Dian needs to reevaluate his prices. I got a large tea which is apparently the same price as every other size they offer, with no additional bag. Which means...that's right, we are all being charged for water. It was still fairly cheap but why not make all tea the price of a small, or a large for that matter? I don't care if you charge me more, just don't BS me. Makes no sense. Also I ordered a black tea with milk and sugar and what did I get? No milk. No sugar.
