Was SO excited to find NY style bagels!.. Was even told they are from somewhere NY, Bronx or smth, cuz I asked... They looked great! ... Most importantly, onion ones had onions IN the dough, not sprinkled on top!.. (It is next to impossible to find an onion bagel with onions IN the dough.) I grabbed half a dozen and walked out, finally feeling like I found THE bagel shop. Finally, I though my quest to find a good bagel in the area has ended right here. Boy was I wrong! These bagels are not boiled! I don't think they are actually bagels... They are tasty but they are more like tasty sandwich buns. The dough is starchy, somewhat dense, tastes good, doesn't dry out on the 2nd day and fall apart easily, has a bit much yeast for my taste. I fried them in butter, tasted good. 6 for $13 is not particularly a great deal, I should have gotten 1 to taste first. The shop seems like a great sandwich place, I could consider coming here. But I think they should not claim to be NY style bagels. read more

Every time I go here, I have a great meal. The staff is friendly, even when they are slammed they take care of the customer. The quality of their bagels and taste far exceeds every bagel I have ever had in the New England area. In fact, I just stopped at New York bagel Company in Newton because they were given such good reviews and I was close by on a job site and I was completely disappointed. People talked about how big the bagels were, there are normal bagel and their dents not chewy and minimal flavor. The Bagels at Boro Bagels remind me very much of Noah's bagels which I've only had on the West Coast. Consistent crunch on the outside with a truly consistency on the inside and flavorful. My only feedback I would give Boro Bagels is there cost of a dozen bagels. How to store a dozen bagels will cost you $10 at a bagel place to cost you $16-$18 but I borro it's $25... quantity has to be taken into consideration. But all in all, as I said, this is the best bagel place around by far. The interior of the store is quaint and relaxing, and they even offered donuts from time to time my favorite is the jelly... never misses read more

Best kept secret in the area. I am genuinely so upset I hadn't heard of Boro Bagels until I was in desperate search of a bagel near the Attleboro T station. Supreme bagel texture. Crunchy exterior and fluffy interior, and generously sized bagels. My order was an egg & cheese on Asiago bagel. The eggs were fresh cracked and seasoned, the cheese was delightfully melty, and the bagel was just so airy and soft. Service was super quick and prices were very reasonable; 5.50 for egg & cheese. They also serve iced coffee / hot coffee and smoothies. I ordered an iced coffee and it was solid. This is a tiny shop with limited seating and street parking, and I would imagine it gets packed on weekends. Grab & go might be the right move for this spot. That said, this was of the best bagel sandwiches I've had in the RI-ish area. (Attleboro is basically RI...right?) Would 100% go back. read more

Solid 3, moving towards 4 Stars, but baked bagels are only so good, these are decent bagels, service prompt, options for cream cheese good, Lox Sandwich was good, Egg and Cheese was good, just can't reach higher levels that can be attained by a boiled bagel method. Iced Cafe Americano was Ok, Flavor ok but not exceptional, still was decent. Nice environment, good energy. Easy street parking. Bagels are just ok, they don't seem to be boiled so not truly a NY style bagel. Not going to find any crusty exterior here and spongy inside. Think more like a sandwich roll you'd get from the grocery store. A good bagel does not require toasting, these do. Cream cheese was very liquidity but tasted good still. Had to dump the water out before using it. There are much better places locally but if you're in Attleboro, give it a try, just don't have high expectations. read more
