Amazing salad amazing cookie. One of the best salads in the valley by far love love love it. My one point and it's not a negative critique. It's that this isn't a soft boiled egg and I don't want a soft boiled egg. I want the egg exactly like this which is a hard boiled egg not overcooked. Calling it a soft boiled egg, at least where I come from, is cooked 2 to 4 minutes max (France 2 religiously) and it's anywhere from runny to super runny. This is a perfectly cooked hard boiled egg so just call it a boiled egg like you do on the other salad not a soft boiled egg. Don't change anything except the nomenclature. I almost didn't order the salad because it said soft boiled egg and that sounded gross when a hard boiled egg sounded perfect and I said can I please have a hard boiled egg like one of my friends salad and like well that's what we do. I said well that's not soft boiled. I will definitely have the salad again. It was amazing. read more

Whatever the muffin is with the seeds and nuts is fantastic. Someone in our vacation rental brought them home for breakfast. These were fantastic. Despite the healthy looking seeds and nuts on top, don't be fooled, these are moist little butter bombs of deliciousness. Kinda a molasses carrot cake vibe. Must order! read more

I've been up in the valley for years and just recently found this place. It has quickly made its way to one of my top coffee spots! Delicious coffee and tea options. I LOVE the quality of food here! It's clean and mostly locally sourced and organic. Very rare to find a gem like this! This is literally the only place I want to eat. They also have prepared food to take home which is nice if your on the go and want a nourishing meal or soup at home. They also have soup of the day and bake all their own bread! The food was amazing! We had the classic breakfast sandwich, cheddar and bacon scone, black bean soup, and the chicken salad sandwich- all 5/5. The coffee was good too and the atmosphere great. Take note of the hours, some food/coffee is only served during certain times. read more

Went in for lunch after sometime and the experience was 5 stars. The food here is always freshly made and delicious. The team offers amazing service with smiles. In addition there are many take home items that you can purchase and take home. We took the chili home and it was delicious and so tasty. One of the best spots in the valley to get some good. We went for coffee and coffee bar already closed but employee on duty did everything to make us feel welcome and offered hot tea and instant coffee which we ordered which was very satisfying. We were also offered half price cookies since end of day. I would say she bent over backwards to make the sale instead of just turning us away. Went in right before 5 pm to get a matcha latte and was told I couldn't get one because the "coffee area" was closed. There was nothing on the website or door that states this as the cafe doesn't even close until 6. The girl working said everything was already cleaned so she couldn't make it. How have I never stopped into Cafe Della?! What a gem of a restaurant/bakery/market. We stopped in for an early lunch (the lunch special chicken tiki Marsala was incredible) and ended up taking away cookies, a kale salad and a rack of grass fed lamb for later. The market is filled with all sorts of delicious grab and go items and the freezer has a great selection of grass fed meats. Highly recommend making a trip out here!! read more

A lovely young couple took over Cafe Della a couple years ago. I used to like it, now I love it! The atmosphere is upbeat and neighborhood-y. And the food is excellent! I go there for meetings and frequently get take out. Although it is a little pricey- it's worth it. All fresh ingredients and delicious! Try their kale salad- I mean, who likes kale? I don't but I love theirs! Also their breakfast sandwiches do no disappoint! Bravo! read more

Cuuuuute little place on the main road in the town of Hailey. Plenty of parking on the street. Social distancing is currently in place with mandatory masks. Which is totally fine by me. Great coffee and service. No line on a Thursday early afternoon. Great variety of healthy food options and nice provisions available. Killer healthy food! I grabbed chili, chicken and rice soup, and their chicken salad. I loved that all were low sodium and not creamed based. All had a different take on them than traditional recipes. I wish I would've taken a picture of them. I will definitely be back to dine in! Lovely staff as well. read more

We were so happy to stumble upon Cafe Della upon our arrival in Hailey. We ended up going back a couple of times to purchase more items. They had lots of pre packaged togo items that were so tasty as well as fresh local fruit. We picked up some apples and peaches and both were delicious. The overnight oats were a great take home option for us as well as their gluten/dairy free muffins. On our return trip my husband had a to die for egg sandwich. Although we arrived a little before their starting time for lunch they were so accommodating, and were happy to fill our additional lunch orders since we wanted to take them with us back to Ketchum. Can't wait to go back on a return visit and still trying to recreate that yummy overnight oats/pudding with chia seeds. read more

Small servings, high prices. Nothing exciting. Atmosphere cold. Not impressed. Will not go back.

Mid-morning breakfast. The atmosphere and decor is very inviting. There was only one other couple within the establishment. Once they left we dined alone. You order at the counter and then are served at a table. The menu is somewhat eclectic, you're not going to find eggs and hash browns here. I'll assume the philosophy is; only make a couple of dishes (the menu had only seven items) but make them well. The establishment appears to be true to that conviction. My wife had the oats, I had the yogurt, they were both tasty as was the toast. However, the coffee tasted burnt, likely the beans were over roasted. On the downside; Oats, Granola/Yogurt, toast and coffee bumped $30.00. That pricey even by Sun Valley standards. Additionally, at checkout, the bill asks if you'd like to tip. I have no issue with that at all and I gave15%. However, after some additional thought and observation, it appeared that tip went to the establishment owners as I believe they were the only ones working. That's not what tips are meant to subsidize. If there was to be a menu change consider adding quiche or something a little more hardy. You have a great establishment, your welcoming but your menu does not lend well to the community and your prices are a bit stiff. You're 12 miles south from where this cafe would flourish. read more

We were visiting from Charlotte, NC. This review covers three visits to Cafe' Della in two days. Yeah it's that good. What we would order again? * Pork Sandwich - Pork was cooked perfectly. Love the beet, carrot, kale slaw. *Chicken salad sandwich - My husband thought there was a tad too much celery in it, but otherwise it was great. I love celery so I thought it was fine. * Crushed Avocado Sandwich - Sublime * Corn Salad - Summer in a bowl. * Cucumber Salad - A bit too much cilantro mint and not enough vinegar for our tastes, but we'd still order it again. I'm a vinegar hound though. * Watermelon Salad - Cool and fresh * Potato Salad - Yes!!! So good. It has pickles in it! Yum! * Buckwheat Chocolate Chip Cookie - Holy moly this is a good cookie!!! I could've eaten two more. * Triple Chocolate Cookie - Very chocolately and sweeter than the buckwheat cookie. There's dark chocolate it in and it's so decadent. Yummy yum yum! * Blueberry Apricot Tart - They know how to make tarts here! The crust....omg! * Corn Cake with Cherries - A sweet treat that's not too sweet and flavorful. I loved the texture of the cake. * Ginger Beer - Brewed specifically for Cafe Della. A bit of citrus and layers of flavor. Delish! What would we not order again? Nothing. What a lovely addition to the neighborhood! This cafe is everything you want in your community and then some. First off, the food is excellent. Fresh ingredients, healthy, feel-good food options like lentil soup and quinoa kale salad options. Plus, buckwheat chocolate chip cookies to seal the deal were insanely good! To top it all off, the owner and staff is super friendly, welcoming and organized. This is a well-oiled machine that knows how to make customers happy! This place has amazing atmosphere and food! Decided to try the new place on a whim and was delighted! I had the hibiscus tea , the crushed avocado sandwich which came with a cucumber salad , and then I ordered the watermelon salad on top of that. I was too hungry and thrilled with my food to take a picture of that but I did decide to get dessert ( I couldn't look at those beautiful pastries and not buy one) and I took a picture of my beautiful blackberry nectarine galette.
