Went to the restaurant the other day with my son. Not to busy. Waited a long time for anyone to come to our table. The server was definitely in a bad mood. Took a very long time to get a drink and the food. I gave her a gift card as payment. I verified before going to the restaurant that it had money on it. Server insists its declined. So I pulled cash out of my pocket to pay. But she walks away. Comes back after a while, had to wait a long time to get the change back. Went to the bar where she chose to start making other people's drinks instead of getting me my change. Overall bad customer service. The food was good. read more

The lucy was cooked medium without me asking and the blood didnt go well with the runny cheese. The coconut shrimp tasted like low quality frozen ones and could not be eaten. Of all places you can eat in the Mall of America, I would not recommend this place. While the location is convenient, the food and service were not great. The service was very slow to start. The server came over to our table about 20 minutes after she dropped off drinks to tell us that our "food would be out shortly" but we hadn't even ordered yet! We ordered cheese curds to start, which were very unimpressive. The ranch and chipotle ranch were pretty good, though. Then I ordered the Buffalo chicken flatbread for dinner and I could only stomach a couple pieces. It wasn't terrible, but it was very bland. I didn't even bother taking the leftovers home. My kids had the kids mac and cheese, which was just microwaved Kraft easy-mac, which didn't come with any sides. Good enough for my 6 year old, I guess. We also had to ask multiple times for our water to be refilled starting from before our food was even delivered, and the only time our server refilled it was as she dropped off the check. Also, I ordered a side of ranch with my flatbread, but never received it. I asked about it when the server checked on us, but it never came. We ended up having enough left over from the cheese curds to last the 2-3 pieces I ate so I didn't bother asking again. However, when the bill came, I saw I was charged for the ranch I never received! I asked to have it removed from my bill and the server removed it. All in all, it wasn't the worst experience, but it wasn't good. I regret not choosing another restaurant, since there are so many choices at MOA! read more

We tried out the wings for our appetizer and they were tasty, but nothing to rave about. My husband wanted to try the fried chicken, but our server advised against it and recommended the Cajun pasta instead. My husband liked it, but again, nothing special about it. I ordered the famous Juicy Lucy burger and while it came out hot and melty, the burger really lacked seasoning, as did the side of tater tots. Something like a three or four. A burger and a few beers was like $50 bucks just so's you know. Solid hospitality. Enjoyable beers on draft. Loved the '80s metal tunes. We say "hi" back. No response. Just awkward staring. We finally spoke up that we're ready to order but also want a replacement watermelon margarita. Was told, "well, the watermelon margarita is usually spicy." We responded, "okay, but we want it without spice on the rim." Why are you going to ask normal, not mild, NORMAL, and gaslight our response when we don't get what we ordered? Asked for a salad and was given a stupid look when asked to replace the dressing. These guys need to work on their poker faces and communication, especially, y'know ACTUALLY TALKING TO CUSTOMERS. Our original waitress was a nice lady with long straight dark hair. She was great. We had a reservation at 6 pm on a Thursday evening, it was NOT busy and we waited 45 minutes to get our drinks! Then we waited another HOUR for our food and the food was lukewarm and nothing to brag about and once again, the restaurant was NOT even busy!! Our waitress Jasmine checked on our table once during this time and their were no apologies addressed to our table from management for the horrible service! Tried to order a fajita burger from one of the table menus, you can't "I can't even punch it in on the computer" that's from the bar only, the bar in the same restaurant. We both ordered the same thing with slight variations, someone who was not our server dropped them off to the wrong people, so I got to enjoy mine with a bite missing, maybe have the server who knows who ordered what drop it off. I've dined at Cadillac Ranch twice and both times were pleasant, even though one of the times we were locked in the restaurant due to a shooting at Mall of America. The staff and management made everyone feel comfortable even though many of us were terrified. They actually have decent tacos and great margaritas. Their happy hour menu is great and there are great options on it. The biggest pros were that we were able to be seated with a very short wait during busier dinner hours and that the service was good. For an appetizer, we ordered the Nacho Mama's chili nacho tater tot dish. It arrived at our table quickly and the perfect temp. I would recommend it! We ordered three burgers, all of which were decent but nothing exciting. (but also nothing bad to say). The most interesting part was the Cadillac Fries - a mix of French fries, waffle fries, and potato wedges! I liked the variety. We all agreed that the meal sizes were decent too. The strawberry smash cocktail was alright, not too sweet and also not very strong. Again, not exciting but also no complaints. A Cadillac facade outside, rock and roll pictures adorning the walls, Tim McGraw overhead, and a mechanical bull on center stage, Cadillac Ranch had all the makings of my kind of joint, even if it was in a mall; and it did not disappoint. Backing up a decade and some years ago, I found myself in New York City. I bellied up to a bar and ordered the city's namesake drink; a Manhattan; and for this bourbon-loving girl, it was a piece of heaven. Simple, decadent, savory, and delivered in a glass with a stem and garnish. I felt fancy, sophisticated, and grown-up as if I had arrived-not only in New York City but, to adulthood. That drink taught me a lot about myself and about life. I have since searched for a great Manhattan, and have found myself continually dropping the bar from great to good to decent.  And when I find that elusive beverage, I want to share the good news. So, thank you to Paul, the bartender, who perfectly mixed my three Manhattans, and provided a fantastic afternoon for us at Cadillac Ranch. Our shuttle driver recommended the Cadillac Ranch Restaurant. The food was very good. We had a large party so we ordered a variety of food. Let me apologize for not taking a picture of the Ribs, lord have mercy they are AMAZING! The food customer service was good band we were seated properly. The bill was reasonable. As we were seated waiting for our food we saw a couple taking pictures of there young son sitting on the Bull. We asked the waiter about riding the bull. We were told you had to be 18. The only unfortunate part was that our 10 yr old wanted a picture standing next to our to sit in the mechanical Bull. The manager came over and literally called us a liar and that child was not on the Bull. Then she said if the attendant stood there and said nothing they would be dealt with. Then another manager came and said she ran the child off the bull, which was not true the couple took multiple photos. Our son was very upset, so we had to explain the age requirement then he said the other little boy was able to take a picture on it. My son is African American and the Little boy was Caucasian so of course the situation seemed more awkward. Overall, a good experience, clean establishment ,and good food. read more
