Not too long ago, the air conditioner was out in the building, and the team did everything possible to make the restaurant as comfortable as possible, by bringing down the shades and turning on all the ceiling fans. It came to my attention that management has not yet fixed the AC that keeps the area cool for the employees and the cooks who are working hard over hot grills. I want to make it very clear that this team is worth taking care of because they do a phenomenal job of taking care of every person that walks in the door by giving them great customer service and delicious food. My burrito was very tortilla-heavy and the tortilla soup tasted more like a beef broth based vegetable soup (although the chicken was delicious in it). We both loved the self-serve salsa bar although neither of us loved any of the options. In particular, I thought the pico was bordering on bad. It didn't taste fresh at all. Seating and bathrooms were clean and the limited service we did have was nice. I would consider going back for a quick dinner in the area. My husband was less thrilled than I was and likely wouldn't join.

I assume he's there during brunch hours, as he left around 3 pm when brunch ended. I started with a frozen lime margarita ($12). It was okay; it felt like it was only half frozen as the ice wasn't blended that well. For my main, I got the famous Anejo carne asada and shrimp plate for $40. Yes it was pricy, but the portion size was also huge! I was starving and somehow managed to finish the plate, but it'd be a great dish to share for two people with small appetites. I really enjoyed it as well. I asked for the steak to be cooked rare, and they didn't overcook it. Each bite was super tender and flavorful and paired well with the rice. Everyone else also enjoyed their dish. One friend got the wet chicken burrito for $15 and it was massive! Another got the veggie fajitas with steak added and really enjoyed her dish as well. Solid food all around. I would love to come back on a weekday and try their happy hour! Sipping on $5 margaritas and $6 sangrias sounds like my idea of a great time!

I could hear the conversations of my co-workers. There is only one bad thing about this location. The parking lot is way too small for how many businesses are in that shopping center. The flip side is that street parking is plentiful. There is a reason that this restaurant has been around for a while. Go there, have some great food, and enjoy yourself.

came at 7:01 thinking they were open until 8 like it says online. there's a note on the door that says "new winter hours close at 7pm"... winter is over special ed... but ok. some ugly mugged chick in glasses made a knife across her neck mark to aggr let me know this classy joint was CLOSED. the see you next tuesday attitude is on par with the face of person it belonged to. i was going to order tacos for a house party. now i hope this place goes to hell. stupid read more

I heard about this place from my neighbor, and it did not disappoint. She recommended I try the fish, shrimp, and arrachera tacos, which I will do another time. I decided to go with what the cashier recommended for my first visit. The tacos are amazing. I had the regular Pastor, Birria, Carnitas, and Asada tacos. They also have a salsa bar, which I loved. This place is new in the Encino Square Plaza but they have other locations in Los Angeles. Do yourself a favor and come try them out. I tried them out the day before their grand opening and omg they had great service and great food. Glad to have authentic and bomb Mexican food in the area.
