Great staff, very helpful. We're fortunate to have such a good pharmacy in Ventura. It says I need 85: characters to post :-)

Since switching to Cabrillo Pharmacy after my local Rite Aid closed down, this place has been great. Friendly staff, always on point. The drive thru is awesome, the staff gives my dog a treat when he's with me. So glad I chose this pharmacy! read more

Sandra M., who works in the pharmacy, is professional and personable. Very friendly, helpful and thorough. She is an incredible asset to Cabrillo Pharmacy and one of the many reasons we have been loyal customers for many years! read more

Absolutely the best pharmacy there ever was! I've been with Cabrillo for years, I don't even live in the same city and I won't change because of these amazing, accommodating, happy, helpful, always-on-it, staff. I recently forgot to pick up a medication and called two weeks later, they said they would run it through to see if they could fill it again as they had already returned it, without me having to go back to my doctor, and they were able to! Easy, always helpful, good attitudes, and love the drive-thru option. Very grateful for this awesome pharmacy! read more

My husband was in the ER of St. John's Regional Medical Center Oxnard on a Friday afternoon. We left around 5:50pm from the ER with a need for overnight medication. We quickly called Cabrillo Pharmacy and they confirmed that they did receive the prescription from St. John's but they were closing at 6pm. The pharmacist on duty understood my husband's need for this prescription and decided to wait for us in the pharmacy parking lot AFTER closing. This was absolutely beyond the call of duty!!! We tried to pay extra for our appreciation, she would not accept it. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND CABRILLO PHARMACY for your medicine needs! read more

Cabrillo Pharmacy embodies the professionalism and expertise that used to be the norm in American health care. Their staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Unlike chain stores like Riteaid, Cabrillo Pharmacy keeps the same staff year in and year out. They know their patients, and they know their profession. Words fail to express my gratitude for this Ventura gemstone. Thank you, Cabrillo, for your service to our community! read more

Carrillo is my Preferred pharmacy even though others are closer. Pharmacists and staff make customer needs their priority and go the extra mile dealing with doctors. Over the years they have provided a wealth of information. Kasstle deserves special mention for her welcoming dealing with all kinds of clients and I swear she knows most of us by name. Through multiple healthcare plans, and Medicare, I keep coming back. read more

Cabrillo Pharmacy does what big pharmacies can not. When I went to chains and even a few independents, I always had to deal with new faces. I have complicated health issues, and some adverse reactions. I take a lot of meds. Cabrillo often provides same day delivery if you or your provider call early enough. They just called to tell me deliveries are running late, but on its way. They work hard with my specialists to take good care of me. They know who I am. When I was in hospital Nov 2019, for a stroke, they worked with an RN to make sure I was discharged home with enough insulin and points for a month, until my prescription insurance was reinstated. When I was evacuated from my apartment for 7 days, they delivered to my hotel. They deliver, promptly and professionally read more

The service at this local pharmacy has always been top notch !!! Especially Bob! Also Kastle(sp?) is just the sweetest and friendliest front person a business can have! She is truly a tremendous asset to this establishment . It's been my only pharmacy for over 20 years, and with her there, will continue to be ......... read more

Five + stars...All the staff is about customer service...Bob, the owner is always available for any questions about your meds...Try not to use the drive-up window, but when I had my knee replacement it was a god-send... Just got new insurance and took a sh*t load of refills for them....as usual they said they could fill them right away...talk about going over the top customer service! No, I said that I would pick it all up next week... Why would you go to a Rite Aid or CVS when you can go to a pharmacy that remembers who you are and what your personal health issues are? Karen, the pharmacist, gets props for entering in my new insurance info and reminding me that my sucky plan has a $250.00 deductible... read more

I followed the former owner as he moved between pharmacies & when finally purchased Cabrillo. When sold the business, I just kept trading there. As with the former owner & the new one, I have not been disappointed. Thank you Cabrillo. read more

Best pharmacy I have dealt with so far. I moved ALL of my prescriptions here. It's a small mom and pops pharmacy, they are not open Sundays but their customer service is by far superior compared to the big chains. They have a drive up window also that makes it really convenient. I highly recommend! read more

Cabrillo pharmacy would not transfer my prescriptions to my regular pharmacy. After speaking with the pharmacist on duty she replied "I'll think about it". The lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I'm not nor will I ever seek services from this pharmacy. read more

When my wife's doctor offered to order her medicine and have it shipped, or we could find our own pharmacy locally to save on shipping, we decided to go the second route in hopes of saving a few bucks. Live and learn. This pharmacy was not the easiest to find, partially because of the construction going on in the area, and partially because of the lack of signage. My wife dropped her prescription off on a Wednesday and was quoted a good price. We went on our merry way. She got a call the next day to confirm that the prescription would be ready on Monday. THEY CALLED US, saying it would be ready. Monday rolls around, and my wife has an appointment in Ventura, so we hoped to pick up the prescription at the same time. It's not a long drive from Santa Paula, but why waste time, money, and gas to drive there multiple times? My wife decided to call ahead, just to make sure it was ready. And of course, it was not. In fact, they didn't know when it might even be ready. The technician was backed up (go figure) and hadn't been there on Friday anyway. Nice. On top of that, the quote priced ballooned up to a much less savory number. She canceled the order and called her doctor back and had them order the medicine to be shipped. Even with the shipping, it was costing less to have it sent from the doctor then have the local pharmacy do it. I have to note that this was a compounded formula prescription, and not just some pills. But even still, the nonsense associated with our one experience here has placed it on our "will not return list" indefinitely. read more

Awesome staff! Awesome service and friendly staff! We are truly blessed of having this local pharmacy in our community!

A wonderful staff that does everything the right way. They always have the medication in stock and are very supportive when you have questions or concerns. They are efficient and friendly. By far, the best pharmacy in western Ventura County! read more

This pharmacy is amazing. I have been coming here for years...I'm ALWAYS welcomed with a hello and a smile, I have NEVER had to wait more than a few minutes for a prescription to be filled, & the pharmacist, Bob, is kind, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I'm so thankful we found this fantastic pharmacy for myself and my family! read more

I love this pharmacy! Always helpful and kind. Especially Wanda, she has gone out of her way on many occasions when I've needed help.

This is my pharmacy. I pulled up 5 minutes before closing on the eve of Thanksgiving with 2 prescriptions and they were nice enough to fill them. I had just left the doctors. read more

Where else can you go and have the Pharmacist come up to your car window and personally explain your questions and then fill three prescriptions in 10-15 min while you wait in your car??? I've died and gone to heaven..... Old school love it! read more

Great service. Cutest little pharmacy in town. I love family owned business as they have the best service and this place did not disappoint. I waited a few minutes for prescription since my doctor had just sent it in. Time went by quickly while browsing through the cute old pharmacy inspired knick knacks throughout the store. read more

Cabrillo Pharmacy has been our family's pharmacy for years, and deservedly earns our continued pharmacy business loyalty. Their customers are known by name. Refills are done while you wait, or with a short phone-ahead , are waiting for you. Your meds are cross-checked to avoid adverse interactions, and the pharmacist always has time to explain your prescription. Quiet, quick, and friendly. Not open on weekends, so plan ahead. read more

In a word? Drive-thru. Does CVS have one? No. Osco? Thrifty? Costco? No. Conveniently located in mid-town, Cabrillo Pharmacy has an intelligent and courteous staff and none of the fidgetyness, complaining-about-the-pharmacist-ness of other pharmacies. But the real reason I go there is the drive-thru. Oh... and they have a statue out front of a mortar and pestle that I think Mr. McEwen made and he's a genius because he thought up Dreamworks before Spielberg. read more

Great staff. Great location. And the drive Through is awesome. It's way better than dealing with the idiots at target!

Quick, convenient, compounding pharmacy. Employees make you feel important and truely value your time. Perscriptions hardly ever take longer than five minutes to fill and they even have a drive through for extra convenience. They also specialize in compounding which very few pharmacies do. Great location accross from CMH in Ventura, CA. read more

The women who work there are really attractive, friendly, and welcoming. Oh, and the drive through window is pretty awesome.

I have gone to this pharmacy for quite a few years by now. They are always ready with my order, always friendly. It is very easy to ask a question of the pharmacist if you should have one. I love that they are NOT part of a chain; the only drawback is that you have to remember to pick things up before the weekend. But that is very minor compared to the great service and friendly atmosphere. Plus, my dog *loves* going with me as they always give her a t.r.e.a.t.. ;). They definitely get 5 stars from me! read more

The staff here are friendly and professional and the prices are reasonable. They were able to compound a specialized prescription I'd been told by another pharmacy wasn't possible. ?? The point is, the Cabrillo pharmacists didn't blink and I appreciate their skills. read more
