Absolutely the best pharmacy there ever was! I've been with Cabrillo for years, I don't even live in the same city and I won't change because of these amazing, accommodating, happy, helpful, always-on-it, staff. I recently forgot to pick up a medication and called two weeks later, they said they would run it through to see if they could fill it again as they had already returned it, without me having to go back to my doctor, and they were able to! My husband was in the ER of St. John's Regional Medical Center Oxnard on a Friday afternoon. We left around 5:50pm from the ER with a need for overnight medication. We quickly called Cabrillo Pharmacy and they confirmed that they did receive the prescription from St. John's but they were closing at 6pm. The pharmacist on duty understood my husband's need for this prescription and decided to wait for us in the pharmacy parking lot AFTER closing. This was absolutely beyond the call of duty!!! Carrillo is my Preferred pharmacy even though others are closer. Pharmacists and staff make customer needs their priority and go the extra mile dealing with doctors. Cabrillo Pharmacy does what big pharmacies can not. When I went to chains and even a few independents, I always had to deal with new faces. I have complicated health issues, and some adverse reactions. I take a lot of meds. Cabrillo often provides same day delivery if you or your provider call early enough. They just called to tell me deliveries are running late, but on its way. They work hard with my specialists to take good care of me. They know who I am. When I was in hospital Nov 2019, for a stroke, they worked with an RN to make sure I was discharged home with enough insulin and points for a month, until my prescription insurance was reinstated. When I was evacuated from my apartment for 7 days, they delivered to my hotel. They deliver, promptly and professionally read more

It's a small mom and pops pharmacy, they are not open Sundays but their customer service is by far superior compared to the big chains. They have a drive up window also that makes it really convenient. I highly recommend! read more

Five + stars...All the staff is about customer service...Bob, the owner is always available for any questions about your meds...Try not to use the drive-up window, but when I had my knee replacement it was a god-send... Just got new insurance and took a sh*t load of refills for them....as usual they said they could fill them right away...talk about going over the top customer service! No, I said that I would pick it all up next week... Why would you go to a Rite Aid or CVS when you can go to a pharmacy that remembers who you are and what your personal health issues are? Cabrillo pharmacy would not transfer my prescriptions to my regular pharmacy. After speaking with the pharmacist on duty she replied "I'll think about it". The lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I'm not nor will I ever seek services from this pharmacy. read more

When my wife's doctor offered to order her medicine and have it shipped, or we could find our own pharmacy locally to save on shipping, we decided to go the second route in hopes of saving a few bucks. Live and learn. This pharmacy was not the easiest to find, partially because of the construction going on in the area, and partially because of the lack of signage. My wife dropped her prescription off on a Wednesday and was quoted a good price. We went on our merry way. She got a call the next day to confirm that the prescription would be ready on Monday. THEY CALLED US, saying it would be ready. Monday rolls around, and my wife has an appointment in Ventura, so we hoped to pick up the prescription at the same time. It's not a long drive from Santa Paula, but why waste time, money, and gas to drive there multiple times? My wife decided to call ahead, just to make sure it was ready. And of course, it was not. In fact, they didn't know when it might even be ready. The technician was backed up (go figure) and hadn't been there on Friday anyway. Nice. On top of that, the quote priced ballooned up to a much less savory number. She canceled the order and called her doctor back and had them order the medicine to be shipped. Even with the shipping, it was costing less to have it sent from the doctor then have the local pharmacy do it. I have to note that this was a compounded formula prescription, and not just some pills. But even still, the nonsense associated with our one experience here has placed it on our "will not return list" indefinitely. read more

In a word? Drive-thru. Does CVS have one? No. Osco? Thrifty? Costco? No. Conveniently located in mid-town, Cabrillo Pharmacy has an intelligent and courteous staff and none of the fidgetyness, complaining-about-the-pharmacist-ness of other pharmacies. But the real reason I go there is the drive-thru. Quick, convenient, compounding pharmacy. Employees make you feel important and truely value your time. Perscriptions hardly ever take longer than five minutes to fill and they even have a drive through for extra convenience. They also specialize in compounding which very few pharmacies do. I have gone to this pharmacy for quite a few years by now. They are always ready with my order, always friendly. It is very easy to ask a question of the pharmacist if you should have one. I love that they are NOT part of a chain; the only drawback is that you have to remember to pick things up before the weekend. But that is very minor compared to the great service and friendly atmosphere. Plus, my dog *loves* going with me as they always give her a t.r.e.a.t.. ;).
