Pharmacy is great. Pharmacist is always helpful and full of knowledge. Hardly ever a line.

I like how low-key store&pharmacy. It's not overly busy and has lots of stock. The merchandise is great and fairly affordable. It's conveniently located . The store hires good people too. I recommend this store in particular. read more

After my pharmacy closed, I was on a mission to find my new pharmacy. Before choosing CVS on Ashwood, I went to another pharmacy. They had poor communication about the pharmacy hours and told me my meds would be in on a certain date. When I went there they said we don't know when we will get these meds in. I was so angry. I had waited 5 days. I called my doctor and had him pull the prescription and send it it to CVS. I went over to CVS on Ashwood. They had my meds within hours. I chatted with a customer in my line who was a big fan of CVS here on Ashwood. She went on and on about how great the pharmacist and the pharmacy department was. When my name was called, I picked up my meds without a hitch. Then the customer, who I had chatted with shouted, "Welcome to your pharmacy! We are happy to have you." A few people in line cheered for me as well as the pharmacist! My sour mood changed to fabulous!! I am so dang happy about my experience. Bravo!!! read more

The pharmacy irritated me today. I called 2-3 days ago and placed an order for a medication. 2-3 days is a reasonable amount of time to expect to find it filled. Right? Wrong. Had to have about the same conversation with the pharmacist today about coverage and willingness to pay out of pocket as I did with the person with whom I placed the order, days ago. That meant waiting until it was filled. As I write this Im aware, first world problem but don't take the order, waste my time and do nothing. Maybe College or Rogers is better? read more

So my daughter and I used their passport photo service here recently. It's terrible. When I got home I noticed my daughter's bib was included in the picture and also the strap of my purse was showing as well. ( if the customer doesn't catch it, I'd hope the person taking the photo will notice it Atleast?.....The staff that took our photos, then informed me that when the photos print out, it's approved. From my understanding it's the passport agency who does the final approval, so either she was lying or unaware of the requirements when taking passport photos. ( so possibly she needs to be re-trained on her duties.) Another issue I noticed is that the employee used their personal cell phone. When taking passport photos, that's personal identification which is highly sensitive. ( it's not for the public) . My daughter and I returned our images because their service was awful. I remember taking a passport photo a long time ago at a Walgreens and their service was way better. ( Walgreens used an actual camera device that's mainly used in the photo center department. ( not a cell phone) I hope they shred my returned images (dissatisfied customer) as that's the right thing to do. By the way Barbara was the employee who took our photos. ( employee who rushed the service) If you need reliable passport photos I recommend go somewhere else. Please take a look at this matter Human Resources. Thank you. read more

Normally, this CVS is amazing. This review is for this encounter only. I was trying to get a prescription filled that was not due until a few days from now. As I will be travelling, and it wasn't ready for refill for a few days, I called to find out the procedure for this. Called 10:07 and was put on hold for 13 minutes so I hung up. Called again at 10:21 and was put on hold for 15 minutes. This was getting me nowhere so I drove to the store, wasting time and gas money. Once I arrived, there was ONE person waiting in line, so I was not understanding how they could not take my call. When I asked if their phone systems was malfunctioning, the woman (dark hair and braces, did not get her name) told me she was too busy to answer the phone. Then a man called to me asking me my birth date to pull my Rx and I gave him day and date, he wanted the year. Because I would not scream this information out he refused to walk over to me. The female working did the same and I asked her to walk the 3 feet so I didn't have to scream my personal information. Completely unprofessional. I also could not get my Rx filled due to insurance reasons (which is not the fault of CVS). Between the time wasted trying to get in touch with them and then going to the store, I was more than a little annoyed at their lack of service. read more

I know it's getting really bad for the retailers with the massive rise in shoplifting, but the measures that the stores have taken makes it so time consuming and difficult to their customers that they are helping drive the one time on-site shoppers to the internet. I went into the store for a simple tube of shampoo. That specific shelf in the row was locked. After wandering around for 10 minutes to find someone, then an additional 5 minutes for them to retrieve the key, then finding out that they had to take the product to be secured at the registered while I shopped, I ended up spending the better part of a half hour. Also, I like to use the self check out, but since the product was behind the register, I had to wait in line to get it. Very sorry CVS, your stores are not the once awesome places to shop near my house. I'm subsequently going to just have the products delivered to my home via Amazon or some other online service. read more

To this day, this store is haunted with the ghosts of all the Longs Drugs employees who lost their jobs when CVS took over. Longs is gone, but not forgotten. Longs had great prices on an eclectic mix of products that varied with the season. The store was always well staffed: the employees were well trained, efficient and friendly. I loved to shop at Longs. Now, it's a cruddy CVS. You can rarely find a bargain here. There are far fewer products available and the prices are uniformly higher. No more cool products from Hawaii. There are hardly any employees on the floor. I don't enjoy this store, I shop here only as a last resort. The store is more like a walk in vending machine than a drug store. They've almost entirely taken out the human element. Good luck finding someone on the floor to help you. Clearly CVS doesn't care about the condition of their properties. Dirty floors, Dirty entryway, parking lot has trash all over it and landscaping is not well trimmed and has a lot of weeds. read more

Was given wrong perscription that was not covered by my insurance nb ce. Spent $47 and the phmarcy will not take it back or give me a refund. The patches I needed are $17 over the counter. Worst phmarcy ever. Worst cvs ever. read more

I am a patient who depends on monthly prescriptions. This cvs pharmacy lives up to the CVS standard... Poor service, un educated people behind the desk and lack of normally prescribed medication. And do you have any recourse... None. Why? Because whomever is "in charge" is always "not there right now"... I hope the entire establishment goes out of business. The pharmacist is rude and unfriendly. The whole set up is very inefficient. They made me wait through several processes and treated me poorly while doing it. I simply needed an approval from the pharmacist after we figured out they hadn't run my insurance. I waited another 10 minutes for the insurance to go through and then 20 for the pharmacist to check over it and let me have it. Brenda, the clerk, and Reza the pharmacist, clearly do not care about their customers. She did not even seem concerned that I said I was going to post a negative review about them. I would like to take the time to give the 5 star review to Melissa at this location , she not only greeted me with a of a pleasant joy ,welcoming me to CVS but with a smile that you know is there but can't see it because of the mask , with a sincere professionalism , but with as simple as how are you doing today?also meaning it too oh and " if I needed help with anything Melissa or one the other team associates , would be more than happy to help . " That really made me feel confident while shopping, grabbed a few things (more than my list)as The check out line had a few people , and less than a minute later, as Melissa was ringing up my items asked me "if I had found everything , I needed ok ". You can tell that she is very genuinely, passionate about taking care of the customers , number one in any business !!!! She also informed me of a way to save coupons smarter, faster and easier . Quick pass and I know when someone at a retail store is sale img a store credit line or save 10% off your bill , it was more highlight what the benefits are and how they may help my family and I during this unusual time in our lives , just the simple fact that someone greets you with a smile, let's you know that they are here for you willing to help , and letting you know what options they offer and the straight forward facts , and most of all knows that your time is very valuable!!!! If i could give this store no stars I would i came in and not mention I have nerve damage and already had trouble coming to be told at the pharmacy she couldnt help me with my update for my insurance because the pharmacist was on lunch and was unable to get my medication and she was plain rude and unhelpful I guess you would think they have a back up pharmacist on hand but not only will i go without my medication now ill also be suffering from my nerve pain from neuorpathy Thanks CVS read more

CVS at the College Square Center on Ashwood is very poor compared to the same store when it was a Longs. The store isn't as clean and the employees aren't as cheery--probably because their dissatisfied customers aren't as cheery. CVS inventory is lacking. They have gift cards for a Home Improvement store that is probably from the east, we've never heard of it; but no gift cards for local Home Improvement stores. No Nordstrom's gift cards--but the small British owned grocery down the street has those gift cards. Many commonly used products are only stocked in the less desirable CVS brand--Even then, CVS is often out of common items so you have to go to some other store to get everything you need. We asked the CVS Pharmacist how long the effect of the diuretic "Lasix" lasts. The Pharmacist didn't know. When we Googled it at home we learned that Lasix stands for "lasts six hours." read more

The two girls that worked today made me decide definitively that I will never go back to this pharmacy. One of them, Anna I think is her name, was so deliberate in the way she ignored me, and went on to help other customers after I'd been waiting so long to get my prescription filled. Then when she rang me up finally, she also started ringing someone else up on the register next to me. So rude and unprofessional. A horrible experience. read more

It's been years sense I've been to this cvs. A friend brought me here today and I have to say I was impressed. The staff loading shelves were friendly and willing to help. There was a short wait for flu shots at the pharmacy. I used the Kodak photo station, it was quick and easy and employees were available for questions. I went in looking for over the counter allergy medicine for my daughter and myself. There were a number choices so I read boxes and looked on line to help make a decision. Well in the old days you could ask the pharmacist. So I look over at the pharmacy and there is literally 8 people behind the pharmacy counter. Some are roaming around and others standing around talking and laughing. There is no one in line so I approach and ask them for a recommendation . I answered a number of questions...who is it for? What are the symptoms, etc. Ten minutes later the guy tells me, oh we can't recommend anything, we aren't pharmacist. So why ask me all those questions and waste both of our time? All those people and not a pharmacist to be found. It was only 4 o'clock in the afternoon. I wasn't impressed. read more
