I couldn't help but notice that the entire facility is immaculate. There were a couple of other customers there as I returned my equipment, and everyone was met quickly and helped very efficiently. But where this place really impressed me with their customer service was when my daughter discovered she'd lost some of her video game cartridges and wanted to look in the truck. I spoke with Sabrina on the phone, and she went above and beyond, checking the lost and found as well as looking in the cab of the truck for them. When I asked if my daughter could come in and look too, she said no problem. When we arrived, Dean got us the keys for the truck and again, went above and beyond, helping my daughter search for her lost property. We didn't find them, but my daughter has peace of mind knowing that she did all she could. We both really appreciate everyone here being so kind, courteous, and helpful.

    Over $2,000 In Damages to my Brand New Truck…read more I brought my brand new Hyundai Santa Cruz in for a trailer hitch and wiring. Because I wanted to make sure everything went smoothly, I went into the store a week before the scheduled install date and talked to the installer, reviewing the wiring and connector I needed. I guess I should have been forewarned when he began searching on YouTube to find installation videos for my vehicle. U-Haul's website showed that they had installed hitches and wiring on this model truck prior. I got a call about 4pm, the day of the install. I was told that my hitch was complete but the wiring was not working and I'd have to bring my truck to Hyundai to have them sort it out. When I arrived, I was given some convoluted information about a couple of wires that weren't powered, and that Hyundai probably did that on purpose so that they would get the revenue for doing all of these installs. That's a paraphrase of exactly what I was told. While irritating, I just wanted to get out of there. They ran my credit card for the entire amount, including the non functioning wiring harness and labor....which I didn't realize for a few minutes. I went outside to start my truck and was greeted by every single warning light on the dashboard lit up and a message that I had 9 safety system failures and 24 communication system failures. The truck would not go out of first gear and was unable to be driven. The thing that struck me most was that no one at U-Haul said a word about this to me. They clearly drove the truck from the garage and parked it outside. They clearly knew they had done some some major damage to it. They clearly knew that every single warning light on the dashboard lit up was a bad thing.... But they said nothing. It seemed to me that they hoped I would just go away. No one offered to contact the Dealer's service department and have the vehicle towed. No one offered to get me a ride home. No one offered to set up an appointment at Hyundai so the damaged caused by U-Haul would be repaired. They just wanted me to take their problem and go. I had to insist that they contact a towing company and get my truck to the dealer the next morning. I had to set up the service appointment myself. I had to insist that they remove the charge for their wiring harness and labor to install it. I had to find a ride home. I had to do everything while they stood there, hoping I'd just somehow leave. In the end, the service department my dealership found that their installer had cut one wire under the dashboard and scraped the insulation off another, shorting out multiple systems in my brand new, 400 miles on the odometer, truck. In addition, they gouged one of the trim panels under the dashboard, probably hoping I wouldn't notice. Every single electrical system under the dash had to be tested to find out where the issue was. I was without my truck for a total 11 days before I finally got it back. The bill for repairs was over $2,000. I dropped off a brand new vehicle to U-Haul and got back one with a major electrical system repair that will now show up on every vehicle history report that's ever run on this truck. My truck is permanently devalued from their shoddy installation. This was one of the most inept and impotent customer service efforts that I've ever experienced. I have nothing positive to say about U-Haul. If zero stars was an option for this review, that's what I'd give. When a customer has a problem with work that you've done, they need your absolute best response. What I got was U-Haul's worst. I'll never patronize this company at any location ever again. I suggest you read through all of the reviews you can find before you do as well.

    This is the 2nd complaint about something serious that has happened at extra space storage in the…read morelast 2 months & no one from extra space upper mgt cares that I cannot deal with KIm a horribly abusive property mgr who wont even stay on top of responsibilities to renters who store there!!! I am a 62-year old female who's been renting at the calle cuervo location since 2021. I visited unit last week & couldn't understand why there were a multitude of crumbs under expensive shoes I hadn't worn much before puttimg them in storage are in horrible shape - just from having sat in that unit since 2021!!!! next, i lifted a bag containing new wardrobe garments, and saw a large, unidentified wet-looking dark brown things grouped together tightly in a circular pattern & put hand on bag to sweep unidentifed pile off bag my hand: THEY WERE FRESHLY LAID MICE/RAT TURDS LAID FROM MANY ANIMALS GROUPED TOGETHER IN A WET PILE THE SIZE OF THE PALM OF MY HAND!!! NEVER MIND KIM THE SERIOUSLY ABUSIVE, MONEY GOUGING MGR WHO RAISES RENT FOR THE WEIRDEST REASONS - EVEN WHEN I WORE A DRESS/HAT TO ACCESS MY UNIT!!! The last few times I went to Kim with anything : (1) One time with question about temperature in unit (2) One time in 2023 being unable to go on property to access unit due to an emergency situation/waited 4 hours until closing at 10:00 p.m. for someone to let me on property as advised per staff on duty; and, no one came to let me in. Reported situation to be a nice person in case Extra Space did not know about electrical problem with gate & Kim raised rent!!! (3) problem with Post Office that got straightened out - Kim raised rent - wouldn't back down (4) happened to wear a dress the day I went to access something from unit in November, 2025 & Kim saw me & raised rent $100!!! (5) When first moving into unit in 2021 on several cross-country move occasions (had to do entire move by myself) - Kim emerged from office screaming at me and talking down to me in the mist rude and insulting way not to park my car with enclosed container attached or the large box truck (one time) next to double doors where elevators are , ordering me to park across the lot; however since 2022, Kim always permits other renters who sometimes have several vehicles, with people helping them to park next to the double doors to do their loading and unloading - but Kim refused to allow me to do that!!! EXTRA SPACE STORAGE IS SUPPOSED TO HANDLE PEST CONTROL BUT KIM THE MANAGER IS NOT DOING THIS, TO ENSURE ALL RENTERD HAVE THEIR SHOES, CLOTHING, FURNITURE, IMPORTANT THINGS DINED ON BY WHAT SEEMS TO BE A HUGE POPULATION OF RODENTS - ESPECIALLY IF RENTERS GO TO KIM WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS ABOUT THINGS TO BE HELPFUL.
