Once moving my parents from their house to a retirement community and then again to move their stuff into storage when they finally had to move into an assisted living facility. Throughout both moves not a single thing was broken, came up missing or was otherwise mishandled. Then to top it all off after they did such an excellent job I wrote them a check which frickin bounced! I haven't bounced a check in twenty years, but I wrote this from an old bank account which was closed without realizing I grabbed the wrong check book. No matter, Joe was very understanding and we met up and took care of it. I expected him to be super unhappy about it but he just shrugged and said these things happen. He's just a super nice guy, a great mover, and overall a godsend when you need to make a smooth transition into a new place.

Used these movers this past Monday. One bedroom apt to another. Took them 12 hrs. One worker…read morecarried a stool, one stool down the hall all the way to elevator; stairs next to apartment. Then he came back and took one vacuum. 12 hrs. It was 104. I am 73 with lupus, 6 back surgeries. I thought I was gonna die. The last 4 hours the second worker was mostly missing his partner kept asking if I had seen him. I watched him slide my 3k mattresses across the floor alone because I couldn't help. Bill was 1500. It was 2.3 miles distance too. But here's the best part am Missing; a Karastan rug, three sets of nice curtain rods (new), a suitcase full of coats (including a Karl Largerfeld which was $350), 18 rolls of tp, two bar stools. AND A RING CAMERA which was in a small box marked RING so they knew what it was. Called the office, got the run around. They want me to file a claim for 60 cents a pound. Dunno how they weighed it, that's their policy. Because I was so dead, I didn't check everything before they left but my friend who left 30 Mins before them did and luckily took photos. You can still see these items in their truck, These people will steal, they don't care. Furniture was damaged too and they will crawl to jack up the bill. This is the beginning forget their claim system, I will be contacting Rio Rancho police because this is theft and the dollar amount is now a third degree felony. Forget their claims dept. They will be facing legal charges. RUN THIS IS A PREDATORY BUSINESS USED BY A LOT OF SENIORS AND THEY INTEND TO TAKE THEIR TIME TO JACK UP THE BILL AND STEAL YOUR STUFF.

However, they spent 45 mins moving 35+ boxes/bins, a grill, 2 bikes and literally a couple small misc. items... NO FURNITURE... from a UhAul to a storage unit... (very close proximity indoors on ground level) the LEAST they could do is make sure labels were visible. They were paid $490 for 2.5 hours minimum charge (pre-tip) for 45 mins of work... next time take the extra hour and 15 (that were paid for) and consider someone may need to something from storage.... LABELS OUT!!! I'm not asking for anything extra.. it would have taken an extra minute per box... so 20-30 mins?!?! I paid for it with my 2.5 hr minimum charge... I spent 2 hours moving things around today... super frustrating...
