We have been clearing out our yard and home during the COVID closures and has a ton of things to get hauled. Dave and his team set up an appointment and were right on time. They limited contact and cleaned up afterward. This business was professional, reasonably priced, timely and stood behind their commitments. We were VERY impressed with the work provided. The person I was chatting with didn't ever have enough decency to respond back to the text I sent after TRYING to respond to their text that they sent me asking about my access to my property I needed service with. They started chatting about when and where services were needed and then just stopped after the access quetion ODD and very unprofessional!! Once again, JunkCo provided a timely, professional service. I called, spoke with scheduler, Anthony, described the items to be hauled (measurements and weight), got a firm and very reasonable quote. They gave me an hour window, then texted the morning of the service to indicate they would be arriving at the end of the time window, and they did. Anthony and Johnny carefully hauled out the furniture, taking care to avoid doors and door jams. These guys are pleasant as can be, professional, timely, and they communicate well with the customer. I needed the compost dumped in one spot as I am sharing it with my neighbor and the mulch in a different spot closer to my garden. He picked up the materials in a timely manner, dumped them in the 2 designated areas and even put a tarp under each pile and the two materials did not get mixed together at all even though they were in the same trailer. I was impressed that with such a big trailer he was able to dump the mulch within feet of the gate I will be using to bring it into the garden. Paul has also done elm removal for me and other yard work and always does a thorough job and does not leave a mess behind or wreck anything like bricks or pavers or other yard decor in the process of removing the elms and carries away all of the debris. Paul did a great job in a timely manner.

I was told by the local transmission shop that my vehicle needed the transmission replaced. The…read moretransmission shop quoted me somewhere between $1,800 and $2,500 just for the replacement, not including labor! I could not afford that so I needed to locate a good, used transmission that was also affordable. Southwest Auto Recyclers were able to provide me one at GREAT value for only $650. Their mechanic, Mark, even checked out my car first to give me a second opinion and make sure that I even needed it replaced. The manager, Joe, was super professional and very helpful. He made sure to run my VIN number against the replacement to make sure that it would fit for my specific vehicle. He was very transparent about everything and gave me the full run-down on where the donor vehicle came from and why it was brought to the shop in the first place. He also informed me of all the different tests they had run on the vehicle and about the condition of the transmission and other parts. While the mechanic, Mark, will begin the transmission replacement tomorrow, and I haven't yet received the finished service, I am quite confident that I am in good hands. Joe offers a 90-day warranty on all parts, and that made me feel that he really stands behind his products. I look forward to the finished product and I would DEFINITELY recommend this salvage/recycling yard to anyone looking for affordable, yet quality parts, and excellent customer service.

Unfortunately I had a rental house that was damaged due to a fire and I had a large amount of appliances, trash and debris that needed removal.
