BEST BREAKFAST EVER! Truly. I had Mrs. Wiggs Farm breakfast- 2 eggs (I did over easy), choice of potato (went with potato cakes) and choice of meat (had to go sausage). My eggs were cooked perfectly - lovely velvety yolk and crispy egg whites. The potato cake tasted like a deep fried mashed potato pod. So stinking good! Seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The sausage patty was mind blowingly good. I'm not even sure how to put it in to words other than GO TRY IT. My husband had eggs Benedict with the potato cakes. The hollandaise sauce was so yummy! He was equally as happy with his breakfast order. We couldn't pass up on one of their holiday drink specials: Apple cider mimosa. Oh.my.gawd. I'm a sucker for bubbles but these were a whole new level. Bubbles with an apple cider liquor and caramel around the rim. Ahh! So good I had 2 and was pleasantly intoxicated when I left. The interior of the restaurant is so nostalgic. It's like eating at your grandmas house! Our waiter Eric had a great sense of humor and was really pleasant to have! I ordered the Petite chicken pot pie and a pie of pie. The Petite was $14.99 and the pie was $7.99 a slice. The chicken pot pie was fine if lacking in actually pie filling and flavor. The chocolate peanut butter pie was very dry. I should have been charged $22.98 for this meal. I was charged $26.97. I have no idea how they came up with this number. I wish I could say I brought this mistake to the attention of the server but she threw the bill on the table and disappeared and I didn't call her back. The food was not good and they can't add nor do they appear to even know how much menu items are supposed to be charged. She had great recommendations for the menu and was super nice. 2. The food was bomb.com! I got the fettuccine with blackened chicken and my husband got the chicken pot pie. Both were amazing! 3. This was our first time here, food was good. Service was horrible at best. We sat in the back dining area, and waited for the server. After 10 minutes go by, our hostess comes back to the table to ask us if we had a reservation... Not sure why, but we said no and she walked away. It took almost 20 minutes from the time we sat for someone to come by and drop waters off. I asked if we could order, and the gal said that our server would be right out. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time about 5 minutes later. It took 55 minutes from the time that we sat, to the time that the food showed up at the table. There was another table of 3 that sat next to us after we had been there for a half hour. Their food came out within 5 minutes of ours. They received excellent service, as they commented on it, so maybe we got forgotten about. The restaurant was 40% full at best on a Sunday morning, this wasn't a case of overcrowding, or under staffing. We ordered Chicken Fried steak and eggs, 2 orders of French toast with eggs, and 2 orders of teddy bear pancakes with eggs. It wasn't an overly complicated request, and shouldn't have taken as long as it did. The order took about 30 minutes to show up. The high chair for our infant son looked like it was dated from the 80's and cut his leg while we were waiting. We had to get him a bandaid because he was bleeding. We had to ask for salt and pepper to come out after our food arrived. The salt shaker was compacted in the inside and nothing was coming out, when we took he top off, it looked like crusted tobasco all around the rim. It was disgusting. I felt bad for the server because he seamed like a nice enough guy, but the time it took to get everything was beyond rediculous. The whole meal took over an hour and a half from sitting to the time the bill came. We won't be back. read more

What a cute restaurant! I love the feel of the older two-story home turned restaurant. We had a party of Sydney and were seated at a table in our own little room. Our server was awesome. Lots of delicious sounding options on the menu. I went with chicken Alfredo and enjoyed my dinner. My husband had the chef salad. It was huge and full of everything a chef salad should have! My daughter got a baked potato topped with stroganoff. Sounded like an odd combo to me but she liked it! The burgers looked good and the Mac and cheese looked good. The drinks were also great! Seems like someone took bag to baby carrots and begged broccoli and just put it on top of the potato. Fried oyster dinner was pretty good. pecan Chicken was moist and crispy on the outside. Again the veggies that came with it seemed a little cheap. Not even sliced up carrots no peppers or onions or mushrooms. Very cheap. The fettuccine was the hit of the table. Sorry to say I was disappointed. I had the large portion of stroganoff. I planned to make 2 meals but unfortunately it was not worthy of a single meal. Over cooked noodles, lack of spices, very small dollop of sour cream and the few pieces of beef were chewy, overcooked and tasted like leftovers. I actually really love this place, I'm surprised to see that they don't have five stars. It's a pretty old school atmosphere, we were probably the only young ones in the entire restaurant. Surrounded by older couples, and a few families. However, our server was tentative, constantly checking on us, clearing plates as we finished, and treated us very well considering we were pretty loud with five girls all catching up. Wanted to try something new so stopped by on a whim. I wasn't sure if our visit was wanted since we didn't make reservations but it was after 2pm and didn't look very busy. I also mentioned we were visiting for the first time. I say that because the atmosphere felt that way. We weren't greeted right away and when we were the hostess (young gal, tall thin) said nothing to us not even that our table was ready. She motioned with her hands as if annoyed. Actually she seemed annoyed the whole visit. Eric was our waiter, he was friendly however, he promised us our jelly and scones but never brought them. Another couple sat down after us, and I noticed they got scones so I asked to try them. I mean why not? Everyone else got them, I'm wanting to make a review post so I wanted it. Eric said that normally they don't serve scones after 3, but he would make an exception. But I'm like "I was here at 2"...Anyways we did get our food and it was great. Four stars for great food but gave it less one bc of their lack of customer service. Would I eat here again? I definitely would give it another try. The cabbage patch restaurant seems to be a local favorite but as a first time customer, I would not recommend this restaurant. I ordered the drunken chicken, and while it was an ok tasting dish, the portion was way too small (equivalent to maybe two chicken strips) for the cost and quality. $17 dollars is a lot to pay for something that is likely on par with Denny's. The server was nice, but she just wasn't a good server. I was looking forward to trying another old diner as they are hard to find out in the Pacific Northwest, but I was disappointed again. Your dollar probably goes just as far (especially when you consider quality) at the Repp or even Gorilla Bites. I would just stay away from the cabbage patch. read more

My boyfriend and I decided to explore anew place so we tried out the patch tonight. We were sorely disappointed. - Took about 10 minutes for a server to come to our table - The hostess sat us and gave us water and bread with butter...but no silverware - Our meal took about 20 minutes to come out and it was clear it had been sitting awhile - We ordered the chicken parm baked spaghetti to split, it was brought out on a single plate and we had to ask for an additional plate AND silverware AND a drink refill - The hostess came out with my refill and some bread (stale, mind you) and an extra plate...but still no silverware - By the time we had silverware the food had been sitting even longer and was tepid to cold in temp. The chicken was dry and bland, the sauce was clearly from a can (see picture of the yellowish tomato indicative of canned sauce)...the entire dish was underwhelming and the side of veggies were unseasoned and cooked al dente We had to find our server to ask for our check and she left it and immediately disappeared. We had to find her AGAIN to pay the check at which point we were told their CC machine was down. We didn't have cash so we asked what could be done and they finally offered to run the card manually. I have no frame of reference for this restaurant since this was our first time trying so it could have been a bad night for them, but we certainly won't be back to find out. Our company had their Christmas party in the upstairs banquet room. Appetizers were coconut prawns with sweet chile sauce, stuffed mushrooms, and artichoke and spinach spread with crostinis. They all tasted freshly made, served hot, with wondering flavor. For the main course my wife and I had prime rib with baked potato. Oh my goodness, the size of the prime rib looked over 16 ounces! It was served with horseradish sauce and au jous, with lots of sour cream and freshly made bacon bits. The flavor was wonderful. Desserts were tartlets, which looked like miniature pies. Flavors were cheese cake, lemon, peanut butter, and marion berry. My favorite was the cheesecake, my wife's was the lemon. Service was timely and friendly, as our group was well taken care of. The owner even came up to check on us. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. read more

The food was mediocre...I ordered the chicken pot pie and the hubby did a meatloaf. These are standard comfort food. The pot pie was attractive on its face but lacked flavor. The unusually phyllo top crust was really hard and pot pie filling was very small. The meatloaf seemed meh too...and it came out from the kitchen within less than 10 minutes which makes these dishes suspect. The only real winner was the dessert. It was okay. After all the positive reviews I was expecting to be blown away, but I wasn't. We ordered the fish and chips for lunch. I thought the batter was a bit greasy. Our server Alexia earned every star here! She made every table she was serving smile with their whole hearts. She made us feel welcome and not once seemed put off by our presence there during COVID (which I experience at restaurants more than ever lately), and she even bothered to have conversation with EACH. TABLE. When I asked for garlic on my fries (not on the menu btw) I didn't get the response "I'm sorry, but we have a limited menu and I can't fill that request". Instead her response was, "Wow! That sounds yummy! Did you want the garlic diced or minced?!" (I chose minced incase you were wondering). I ordered the beef stroganoff and it was delightful. Very creamy. This place had the most amazing PIE!! First we shared the pot pie. Amazing, flaky puff pastry on the chicken pot pie. The filling tasted like my mom's homemade chicken and dumplings. It was plenty for the two of us to split, but as a just in case we added the seasoned fries. They called them JoJos...I beg to differ. Still tasty though. The only "meh" moment came with the veggies. Tasty squash and zucchini that were unnecessarily sauteed with a variety of peppers. The green pepper taste over powered the delicate zucchini and left me not wanting to finish my veggies... Wait a minute though, back to the PIE! We ordered the chocolate peanut butter pie (which I had decided on before deciding on the chicken pot pie) and I think I found heaven. I overheard a waitress tell one gentleman that the crust was made with shortening and whipping cream. No surprise that it was the flakiest crust I've ever had. I could actually separate it into layers...layers! I have honestly never had that experience before. And the filling...OMG! It was had this amazing mouth feel. I can't even describe it. The peanut butter mousse was so amazing that I didn't even really need the dark chocolate ganache on top...but I ate it anyway. Keep in mind though, this thing is HUGE. After eating dinner we had to go on a half hour walk--and we shared! This truly is life altering pie. Man......I sure wanted to love this place. I was sat and greeted with a pretty wonderful scone which to my delight was served with super tasty jam. I ordered the Seafood patch sandwich for a whopping price of 18.99. But I did ask the waitress her thoughts and of course she said two people had just had it and devoured the entire meal. They must have been served the warm version then. My sandwich arrived and unfortunately it was cold..........nothing like cold hollandaise sauce and cold crab and shrimp on what is supposed to be a hot sandwich. The Jojos however where PIPING hot!!!! With no taste whatsoever. No salt, no pepper, just hot oil. I told the waitress and she took the plate back only to arrive back to me with the same plate of now luke warm seafood sandwhich.......the English muffin the glob of crab, shrimp and hollandaise sat on was the only part warmish. I ate one part of the sandwich and 2 jojos. It was disgusting. Located in a old historic 1900 era house in downtown Snohomish, that still has some original and refurbished furnishings. Feels like grandma's house when you walk in, crochet doilies, antiques and all! This is our go to spot for breakfast if we go out since moving to proper Snohomish 4 years ago. Always on point with food and service. They bring you hot home made scones and jam when you are seated to enjoy while you browse through their specials and menu. My favorite breakfast dish is the chicken chicken fried steak, cooked perfectly juicy and tender, with a side of potato cakes and eggs. Our server specifically was incredibly friendly and sweet, and despite us being the only ones sitting outside, she never forgot about us and checked on us several times. Went in with high expectations because of the great looking menu but it kind of fell short. Arrived about 4:30 pm and only a couple customers inside. Quaint establishment in a converted old house with antique style furniture. Problem is, it smells as old as the building is. You know how an old musty house smells right? Anyway, not to overpowering but noticable. Got seated at a table with a great view of the patio and a filthy carpet that hadn't been cleaned since the night before. Ever hear of a carpet sweeper? Did not receive any starter bread and then noticed every table sat after me did. Waitress forgot I suppose. Crab and shrimp stuffed mushrooms were good but a little too much cheddar cheese. Ribeye steak ordered medium rare was more on the rare side and pale like it was cooked on a flat griddle too quickly. Tasted good if you like Montreal steak seasoning though. Fettuccine alfredo was pretty good but honestly I have had better. Pecan Praline pie was awesome as was the marrionberry crumble pie. Other than the missing bread at the start the server was great. We waited 6 minutes for soda and once our food came out we weren't checked on at all. Food was flavorless and was Dennys diner quality for top dollar prices. The host had an eat poop and die look as she walked around the restaurant. Got side eye from our waitress. The chicken la cordon blue wasn't at all la cordon blue. It was chicken strips thrown in a bowl of oily sauce with canned ham chunks and half steamed vegetables. The only thing edible was one scoop of mashed potatoes. My plate was the chicken fried steak and even though the meat was cooked well the gravy was extremely oily and what were supposed to be seasoned potatoes was really fried potatoes with salt. My eggs were liquid egg and cafeteria quality. Will not return ever again, spending $50 for both plates wasnt worth the food/service so we left $25 and went elsewhere. Super cute and friendly! The house, decorations, and menu kept us quite entertained while waiting for our order and the service was excellent! (Thanks Lisa!) The bf and I each got the prime rib and while I cringed a little when told we would be given the last two pieces, the meat was still tender and satisified our craving perfectly. The oyster shots were delicious and fresh. A total steal at about $1.50 each! Be sure to check out their happy hour Mon-Friday 3-6pm for cheap beers and 50% off appetizers. I'm so sad I'm not around to milk it. We were pretty full so the idea of pie seemed over-the-top. Came here after my friend had her bridal appointment earlier in the day. This is an old school 2 story home, that has been converted into a restaurant. I was surprised at how many tables/people can fit in there! They also have a really talented wait staff, going up and down the stairs with food orders is quite amazing. We went here on a Saturday and this place was packed. The wait wasn't too bad to get a table. Once we were called, we were seating on the 2nd floor of the house/restaurant. The servers were really great and friendly. Although, it did take a while for the food to come to us (probably noticed it more because we were hungry, teetering into hangry lol). They brought us scones to eat prior to the food arriving - pretty delicious! Portion sizes are HUGE! You totally can split a plate with someone! I ordered the country fried steak, and it came with potatoes, 2 eggs, a slice of fruit and lots of gravy on top! Not bad for the price either! Overall, great spot to go to!
