a local favorite. whenever the Lynnwood Senior Center goes to Snohomish for an excursion everyone runs over to the Cabbage Patch. i never did because i had other places to try. finally! i had lunch at the Cabbage Patch. what a cute little place. the large dining area in the enclosed porch in the back is light and sunny. the staff are friendly and efficient. the food was as expected: nothing super spiced or seasoned; mild enough for anyone and everyone. even the salt was very subdued. the food was warm, not hot. patch soup: cabbage and tomato soup. not quite a minestrone. serve lukewarm seafood patch sandwich: Dungeness crab, Bay shrimp, and Jarlsberg cheese. Open faced on an English muffin with Hollandaise sauce. tasty but served room temperature. the hollandaise sauce was a few degrees warmer. clubhouse: as expected. prime rib dip: the au jus was bland. beef needed seasoning. millionaire pie: claim to fame is the pineapple and walnuts folded into the whipped cream base. it reminded me of the 1950s style food that introduced pineapple, jello-aspic, and stuff like that. tasty enough, but again, the appeal is very middle-of-the-road flavors. not my first choice but if i needed to accommodate various tastes and appetites The Cabbage Patch would be a good choice. read more

This place was beautiful and unique in design. Food was great but sadly the service was subpar :/ for the price we paid for our plates we should have received our food in shorter time than 40 minutes. It is Easter Sunday and they can be busy but we noticed a table receive their plates sooner than ours and there was only a 5 minute difference of arrival time. I hope they can improve their customer service as our waitress kept forgetting to bring out what we requested (water, scones & jam) but was quick with other tables :( left us feeling unhappy and second class. read more

I've dined at Cabbage Patch a couple of times and always enjoyed the experience. A friend and I had lunch recently as I haven't been back in many years. We chose to sit at the front room so we could enjoy the street view. We started with their signature scones and jam. We shared the Asian Lettuce Wraps with coconut chicken, Asian slaw and peanut sauce, served with lettuce leaves. It was good since I've never had it coconut crusted. I had to ordered their Cabbage Patch Soup since the last time I had one was decades ago. I didn't care for it... maybe that's the reason why it's been ages since I had one! My friend ordered a sandwich (can't recall what it was but a have a photo) and I had the Dungeness Crab and Shrimp Louis (Dungeness Crab and Bay shrimp served on a bed of greens with cucumber, egg, tomato and mixed cheese). Good portion size loaded with crab and shrimp. Our server was pleasant and accommodating. I wanted to order a whole apple pie, but they did not have any available. What I love about this restaurant is the interiors. Reminds me of old homes that have a choppy layout with separate sitting rooms. Vintage charm at its best. read more

No outright issues but there is so much great food in Snohomish, I just don't think I can recommend this one. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo with blackened chicken (I liked having that option!), and my mom ordered the pot roast. We both thought they were fine. We also had the clam appetizer and we each had a salad. Everything was decent but nothing to rave about. I do love their menu, and that the entire menu seems to be served all day. That'll probably be the reason we eventually give it another shot. So many things that sounded good to both of us! The interior was nicer than I was expecting, they've done some work since many of the photos shared on Yelp. But it was kind of noisy in the back area where we were at, and there were only a couple tables seated. Service was polite, if a little slow, but we were fine chatting. Our waitress was cute with the child seated next to us, which I appreciated. Not specific to the Cabbage Patch but parking is always tough to find in the area on weekends. We stopped in around 11 on a Saturday and had to park a few blocks away, past the First & Union bakery, even! We almost went somewhere else just because we couldn't find parking, even on our usual side streets. This pace really took us by surprise. We were shopping for some fencing near by for our new home we bought in snohomish. This place came up when we searched for nearby restaurants. We were looking for a place that served breakfast all day long as an option and lunch items. It was a very busy Saturday, so parking can be tricky in this area of snoho but well worth it, if you can snag a spot! We got lucky and ended up parking a few blocks away. It made for a nice walk on a nice warm sunny day for the 1st of October. Finally we get to this historical restaurant filled with life and old timey feel. When you walk in it's unmistakable this used to be a house of some sorts easily from the 30s/40s. Beautiful high ceilings, interesting and unique lay out for dining tables. Just not something you're going to find at an Applebees for example. (Probably why we never go there LOL- boring!) We are greeted right away by the lovely host she sits us on the very 1st right of what I think used to be the formal living room. Very cool! Now to the fold: We look at the menu, first off: I LOVE options, I know that's pretty American of me, (according to my English boyfriend) but I do, and he'd be lying if he said he didn't like them to. They served breakfast ALL day and lunch, even had a dinner section. Very impressed by the yummy hearty food options they had. It was a hard decision to pick from. I saw they had a club house sammy option which takes me back to when I was young and eating with my grams. So I thought let's give it ago, assuming it would be Turkey deli thinly sliced meat. My partner got the corn beef hash, his only complaint because he's from the UK: to minced not enough chunks of corn beef itself. Other than that he said flavor was incredible and couldn't knock it for that. Fluffy perfect scrambled eggs! My club house served with French fries, Wow! Perfectly crispy fries (or chips as my partner refers to them LOL) and just enough salt. The club house sammy did NOT disappoint HUGE sammy cut into half and thick hearty slices of bacon, and real thick slices of actual Turkey! To say we were impressed was an understatement! Then a table away a guy heard us talking about our curiosity is the restaurant wondering what the story was. He said apparently it used to be an orphanage and is allegedly haunted! Lol but hey either way it as a fascinating story! We will definitely be back and looking forward to trying more options! Oh! Where do I begin... Let me start by saying I am disabled and walk with a cane. We start this experience with the hostess asking me to climb up a flight of stairs to be seated. When I said I could not she became rather rude. This was the beginning of a horrible dining experience. We get seated at a tiny table with only two open sides as it's pushed into a corner. Our waitress was nice enough however after she brought our drinks we did not see her again for at least 30 min because that's how long it took for our food to get to us and all we ordered was a salad and fish and chips. The lettuce in the salad was wilted and cost $17. The fish and chips were greasy and dripping with oil. Portions were very small and not worth what they charge. The place appeared dirty and I even had some sort of flying insect fall into my food. Dine here with caution. read more

This place was incredibly charming! Luckily we came after a huge rush so it was quiet and relaxed but I can see where it would get kind of crazy. Our server was mostly attentive with a few lulls when other tables had food coming out (no big deal though). The cabbage patch soup was very good but the corned beef was kind of dry. I have a feeling the rest of the menu is much better than what I ordered. The millionaire pie was so unique and delicious! Try a piece! The decor was quirky and the bathroom was absolutely freezing but it's an old building. Worth checking out for breakfast more than lunch I think but overall a descent place. read more

My best friend is from Snohomish so I've heard The Cabbage Patch mentioned quite a few times over the years. After a poor customer service experience last year (the hostess literally refusing to seat our dinner party), I finally got the opportunity to try it for a late lunch this year. The ambiance was very homey and cute. I felt like I was walking into grandma's house with the flowered wall paper and antique-y wood trimmings and tables. This all makes sense as the restaurant is a renovated house and I absolutely adored it. The food however, left a bit to be desired for me. After some deliberation between breakfast and lunch, I opted to try the Turkey Sandwich on the 12-grain bread with a side of the seasoned fries. The sandwich was good, but nothing to write home about. The turkey and bread were fresh, but overall a bit bland. The sandwich really needed more ingredients than the basic meat, mayo, cheese and lettuce. Tomato, sprouts, and maybe some seasoned turkey slices would really add a little flavor to the sandwich. The fries were cooked very well, but again, were quite lack luster. The menu advertises them as seasoned, but I hardly saw a sprinkle of seasoning on them. Fortunately, the Ranch dressing was very creamy and delicious so I was able to douse both my French fries and sandwich with it, which greatly helped. Biscuits and jam are brought out prior to your meal, which is always appreciated. The jam is raspberry flavored though which I don't like, but I can imagine that being quite the treat for those who do like the flavor. Rather than asking for a different flavor, of which I'd bet they have, I decided to just put a little butter on my biscuit. They were nice and soft, but as the theme of my meal went, they were also flavorless on their own. The menu is so expansive that I'd definitely be willing to come back and try some other things that maybe have more ingredients. I also think that these types of restaurants are generally best for breakfast so I think in the future I'd go that route. And of course, the amazing pie selection is to die for and I'd be more than happy just to stop by for dessert! read more

First off this place is a cute little 2 story house that they do their best to make you feel at home. The service was really good when we were there. My family and I came here about a month ago for a belated Mother's Day brunch. I decided to go with the Eggs Benedict, as I'd never had it before and wanted to try it. Now I will admit, I was a bit nervous trying something new at a restaurant I'd never been to before. Well, I was nervous for no reason, because the dish was absolutely fantastic, it absolutely blew me away. My dad kept saying he should've ordered it . Everyone loved their food, and it was actually a quiet meal, due to how much we all enjoyed our food. Brought the family and my mother-in-law to try Cabbage Patch. Parking downtown was fairly easy. Inside the decor is very antique. It seemed pretty clean, which is impressive considering the carpeted dining area and lace curtains. Certainly not an "easy wipe down". We did have a fly bothering us our entire meal. The hostess was not particularly welcoming, but the rest of the staff were very personable and helpful. We enjoyed the scone starter and ordered a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes, as well as some blackberry cobbler and bread pudding to go. Overall, I don't know that I would go back. The food was pretty good, but not spectacular and the ambiance at lunch time wasn't doing it for me. One plus was the large restroom. Very nice for having little ones in tow. I would imagine that the restaurant is more romantic and less stuffy feeling at night. The bar had a stained glass feature window, and some other details that don't quite stand out in the afternoon. I don't review often but this one needed a review. Let me start off by saying the service was amazing and quick and if it was just for service and drinks I would return but I won't be back. The food was Awful!!! I ordered the NY steak with baked potato and veggies. My husband ordered the prime rib with mashed potatoes and veggies. Everything was tasteless and bland. My steak was a weird texture and I spit out my first and only bite. My husband who NEVER uses steak sauce drowned his prime rib in it and ate his. My wife and I stopped in here for breakfast and left delighted with our choice. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. This restaurant was amazing for a family. They had a drawable kids menu with crayons provided. The bacon potato soup had fresh ingredients and was made from scratch. My first time eating at this restaurant. I had the salmon and chips and hubby had cod and chips - delicious! Used panko breading instead of the heavy batter type, fish tasted so fresh! I have been a customer at the Cabbage Patch restaurant for years. The last couple of times I have been very disappointed in their food. I had the cabbage soup and did not taste the same at all. And Friday my daughter and I went (she has never been) had the Prime Rib stroganoff, and my daughter had the Pecan Chicken salad. First, they forgot to put the Prime Rib in the stroganoff and took forever to bring it back to me with the meat in it. Never offered me a discount. And my daughter had never had a more flavorless salad. The dessert we got was good. It was a cobbler. I don't know if I would go back. Did they change chefs??? read more

Went here on a random Sunday around 3 and completely empty. Decided to go anyways...big mistake! Staff very nice, but food not so much. Ordered pork mango tacos and came out very cold. The meat was warm, but the corn tortilla cold. Did not say anything, just figured I would take the rest home and warm up. (Still not good) the "ribeye" steak ordered was maybe 1/2" thick and far from a "ribeye"!! Disappointing meal for $80.00.
