The lodge has an older, rustic feel to it. Location is nice as it kinda sit right on the lake; literally 10 steps and your feet are rubbing against the sharp, jagged, not so soft sand. However, the warmth and clearness of the water does make up for it. Upon arrival, check-in was a breeze. They do require you to mask up before entering the office. Our room was clean, no complaints. The view of the lake and the pool was spectacular, I'm sure my husband did not mind the pool view lol. Breakfast was grab-n-go as we are living in the pandemic. Check-out was also a breeze. During our stay here, we got Mexican foods like fifteen times!! From the taco truck to a sit down Mexican joint, all was finger licking good! Felt as if I was in Mexico for a sec. Price to stay here is reasonable. Of course it's not your 5-star resort in Vegas, it is exceptional for a family of 5 to stay here. Check it out guys!!

I love the many vegetarian friendly options, including the fettucine alfredo and stir fried rice. There's a kids menu full of choices for kiddos too. Many of the foods here can be made gluten free, as well. The staff is wonderful, atmosphere beautiful and relaxing, and it's truly the best place to take your visitors to our beautiful lakeshore city.

My husband attends a physical therapy conference here every year, and the staff always does a great job taking care of everyone and making the event run smoothly. As a business owner myself, I completely understand that renovating and updating an entire property is a big financial decision. That said, it does feel like the rooms are reaching the point where a refresh would really elevate the experience. I imagine that will happen eventually. One of the highlights of the stay was the restaurant, which is just steps away from the rooms. We ate there multiple times and every single thing we ordered was really good. The quality of the food was consistently excellent and the servers were kind and attentive. They also had live music on Friday night, and the woman performing when we were there was incredibly talented and made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely come back again. The location, views, service, and restaurant make it a really special place to visit in Lake Chelan.

The day my husband and I checked in we noticed an odor in our room as soon as we walked in the door. I checked to see there were no old garbage or damp used towels. I put baking soda down all the drains. I looked everywhere, but could not discern where the odor was coming from. It never went away. Very sad. We were also disappointed in the restaurant upstairs. The service was extraordinarily slow. The food was ho-hum. The hollandaise sauce was tasteless. Please, please fix this!!!

They kept calling us on the day of arrival and again on the day we were leaving, which felt a bit excessive. I did appreciate the complimentary toothbrush and razor, though that was a nice touch. The kitchen amenities and sink area were also very nice and convenient. The biggest drawback was the smoke alarm beeping in the middle of the night. It really disrupted our sleep. I understand maintenance may have needed to come in, but I wasn't comfortable with someone entering while we were out or disturbing our privacy while we were inside I'm a bit particular about that when my belongings are in the room. Overall, the views were the highlight, but due to the outdated features, staff experience, and the alarm issue, our stay fell short of expectations.

We booked the presidential suite, which was beautiful and came at a high price, so we expected a high standard of hospitality. Sadly, that's not what we received. As the only Black family staying at the property, we were met with rudeness and clear disrespect from the staff throughout our stay. It was made obvious that we were not welcome. The staff working on Sunday, July 6th around 10 a.m. were especially dismissive and unprofessional. It's incredibly disappointing to spend good money only to be treated like an inconvenience. The setting is gorgeous, but the treatment we received was unacceptable and left a lasting negative impression.
