The only reason I'm giving this 1 star is because their website is not helpful at all. Half the…read moretime the links don't work and the information on there is often limited. The biggest omission from their site and the individual properties is that many of them in the DMV are income restricted but it isn't listed there anywhere on the site. I guess you can assume that from the price of many but there are some properties that are expensive for someone that is on section 8. The onsite property people have all been very nice and pleasant which is why this isn't about them and if you are on section 8 or are eligible for income restricted housing, I would by all means advocate reaching out to the individual properties but the main management office wasn't really helpful as they directed me back to the website which wasn't really helpful. I asked simple information that the management office should've been able to provide like "Are all of your properties income restricted?" Most of the people I talked to didn't understand what income restricted meant but maybe that's because they just always refer to it as section 8. Another question, "Can you tell me which properties aren't income restricted?" I was referred back to the website where you can't find that information either. As a property management company you should be very familiar with the product you're providing and how you're providing it. The webpage is terrible and someone should on a daily basis check it to make sure it is working properly. There should also be a review of the information that is on your site and what's missing. The fact that these properties are income restricted is very important in this area because it is filled with people from all income brackets looking for property at all times. Making it easy for people to navigate to and through your site is key. https://www.edgewoodmgmt.com

I won't go into all the details but to say the least my immediate neighbors are nothing less than rude and inconsiderate. I have been awaken out of my SLEEP several times because of noise, pounding, stomping etc. I have also complained numerous times....still happening and i'm not one to just up and complain about any little thing it has to be substantial. It's sad to see people like this ruin a community that could otherwise be ok. I would not advise anyone to move here unless maybe if you happen upon a top floor unit or a unit on the very bottom which is surrounded by concrete other wise you will be in hell like I am. I can not wait to move! However, on a positive note there are some nice people in the community and I see many out walking their dogs and chatting and I do speak with several OTHER neighbors. The landscaping is also very well kept in the spring/summer months when flowers, trees etc are blooming and blossoming. I must say that in the beginning when I first moved here (about 5 years ago) I did enjoy it but the neighborhood has changed over the years I guess. I've seen better condos around since I've been looking.

She left mid 2016 and things went South after that. I never received a Move Out report, pictures of my unit or communication. I had to ask for status updates. The only reason I stayed with them to manage for the 2017-2018 lease year was because I decided to buy a house and it was not a good time to switch managers. This last lease year was the worse. I discovered inaccurate rental ads about my unit. He blamed Realtor.com for one. His excuse would have worked, however my significant has been a Broker for 30 years, so I know how that works. I terminated my agreement. Do not use UrbanaRe to manage your property.

It's been two months & I have been calling and calling and most of the time there is no answer and when I do get a answer They tell me the same thing "Mr. Williams is not in the office we will send a email and he will follow up." Eventually I got tried of hearing it and decided to go to the office myself in dc only to find out they moved from there in 2016 so I decided to head to the office in Va only to find out it doesn't exist. I believe this company is a BiG Scam so please use caution when applying for a home with them!!! I wish you all good luck in your search!

From Day 1, he was incredibly responsive, detail oriented and truly cared about what was best for our family, not the quickest deal. He led us step by step through the listing and staging process, handled an open house and eliminated so much stress that can otherwise come from moving. For our home search, he suggested listings, showed up to properties with us and recommended an excellent inspector, electrician, and we closed quickly. It's easy to offer Shaun to anyone in the area looking to buy or sell. We were truly blessed to work with him and should we ever need to move again, he'll be my first call.

And since I use Yelp for everything else, I decided to see what the People said about realtors in the area. As you can see, Shaun has a lot of fans. I loved what people had to say about him but it was really the video on his website that convinced me to set up a call with him. Hearing Shaun talk about where he grew up, how he ended up in DC and how he runs his business seemed almost too good to be true. But he's the real deal. Shaun wants to help you find your perfect place more than he wants to just sell you a house. Since I was doing this completely on my own it was important to me that I felt comfortable with my realtor. And while I took friends on a couple showings, in the end it was Shaun that helped me figure out which place was right for me. He would gently point out things that maybe I didn't notice or tell me when something wasn't as big of a deal as I thought. When I tried to talk myself into something he would remind me of the reoccurring dream I had about more space and how maybe XX wasn't a good fit if that was still important to me. I was on the fence about whether I wanted to leave the District. I ended up buying in DC but Shaun did a good job showing me all around Old Town. He'd listen to what I liked and didn't like and then adjust what we would look at the next time And while I'm going to be a city mouse a while longer, I made him promise that when the time comes he will help me sell my current place and buy the next one -- I'm eyeing the Parker-Gray area. Lastly Shaun has a guy for everything. Need a lender, Shaun's gotta guy. Need an electrician, gotta guy. Inspector, check. And this network is just as solid as Shaun. His network walked me through everything as a first time home buyer. I hear people talk about how hard it is to buy a place and honestly that wasn't my experience, at all. Clearly buying a place isn't like picking a happy hour spot but once again Yelp pointed me in the right direction. I love my place and finding and buying it was a really great experience because of Shaun. If I could give him 10 stars and 2 energy drinks, I would.
