He laid the sod mostly by himself, when he was done he wasn't happy with some rolls and went and picked up some more to make it match. He went over and above what was required. He was always on top of it great guy and he also put in a new smart timer for my sprinklers to go off on their own. The smart timer he put in connects to my phone, so I can control it and don't have to worry about manually opening and closing it . The service requested is very fast so I'm happy with that. Even though we changed our minds a few times, Chris was patient and worked with us until we agreed on the details. He started the job right away and finished it quickly. Since we weren't at the property while he was working, Chris sent us pictures and videos to show us the progress. He called us if he had any questions and always kept us in the loop. He answered all our questions and gave us updates regularly. When we asked him to do extra stuff, like adding more water lines and planting trees, he did it without charging more. This review being made by a 28yr. home owner who is one that could not be more satisfied. Avoiding going into detail with the nightmare I experienced with the previous landscaping contractor (found through Angie.com) named Mario's Landscaping and Tree Trimming-managed by an Emerson Aldana (AKA). That is who I made payment to through Venmo. Keep in mind I take much responsibility due to the fact that at my age I should have been more skeptical and scrutinized more. However, I realize now that it was a well coordinated, planned scam on an elderly woman living in a large home. I am providing a bit of the previous history with my situation in order that you will understand my sincere appreciation and my 101% satisfaction with Christopher Castro. He is the actual contractor that did the work on my system. What took five days, was never completed, money totally wasted, where in the end ended up costing three times as much as the initial proposal. Basically, summarily a total rip off from A-to-Z. It took Christopher two hours to completely evaluate my system: involving efficacy of power system and individual sprinklers, along with checking all the valves. In the end I had a perfectly running sprinkler system: included perfectly accurate timer set up, as it had run from the first day it was installed. With all this being said let me address my interaction with Christopher. A very soft spoken unimposing man that was more than patient with me. I am 73 years old and at the time we initially met I was more than frustrated and definitely jaded. He thoroughly explained everything he was doing and why it needed to be done. When the job was completed he charged a very reasonable price; which you can well imagine after all I had been through for the last week I was ecstatic and eager to pay. With all of this being said, I can only hope that you have thoroughly read yelps' venue from those reviews and opinions supplied by other customers.
