My older daughter has been dancing at CC for 4+ years now. My son also dances here as well as my younger daughter. This year my daughters have both been invited into different dance companies where they will be competing for the first time. We love the fun atmosphere that allows for personal expression while learning the techniques specific to each area of dance. I have found that if your child isn't having fun it is a lot harder for them to learn. When I first toured the building I loved how they had brightly colored rooms--like orange and teal and purple. It may seem like a little thing but I feel like the colors enhance the fun atmosphere and my kids certainly feel the difference. I had heard from others that they don't like the way they do the recitals or galas at CC & Co but once I went through it once, I loved it. They have your child come to the auditorium 1 1/2 hrs before their show time. During that time the kids do a full dress rehearsal/run through. They get to see the lights, the size of the room, hear the music level, etc. Which is great for young ones but also helpful for kids as they get older. Then the gala itself runs under an hour. Which if you have ever sat through a 3 hour dance recital you can really appreciate! And the short galas also result the ticket prices are very affordable. When my daughter first started I will say that communication was a bit confusing but over the years has *really* improved and I am much happier with the communication in person, in email and on their website. The opportunities the dancers get at CC& Co are great too--and not just the company dancers. Last month 10 company dancers got to dance on stage with Janet Jackson to Rhythm Nation at Walnut Creek. Next month a dancer who is currently on tour with Taylor Swift is planning on coming to my son's recreational hip hop class. There are principal dancers who teach and dancers from the dance shows on TV that come and teach Master Classes. The experience the teachers have shows through in not just what they teach but also the opportunities they are able to bring in. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. They may not always know the answer but they get back to me as soon as they can. We are very happy at CC& Co--and we live very close to another well known studio in the area and happily drive the extra 15 minutes to go to CC and not the other dance studio. Oh, one thing I forgot to add, as the mother of 2 girls I am concerned with how they feel about their own bodies and that they have a positive self image. There are dancers at CC of all sizes. The diversity in size isn't something you see at many studios. And it is something not only I notice and appreciate but something all the grandparents have noticed as well. read more

My daughter is in her second year at CC & Company Dance. At first I just thought it was a fun activity for her. Then I went to their Gala performance at the end of the year and was amazed. They put on TEN Galas in one weekend, so everyone would get a chance to dance. They are amazingly well organized. The dances were wonderful: a great showcase of all the ages and abilities of their students. I was very excited to enroll my daughter in class this year. My daughter's teachers have been Miss Chrissy and Miss Charlene, and they are wonderful. They are so warm and loving and enthusiastic. My daughter loves them both. I'm thrilled that my daughter is taking dance lessons at a studio that values excellence, but doesn't push or pressure her to be perfect. If she pursues dance I know she'll get quality instruction and be challenged, but if she just wants to do it as a fun hobby, I know she'll be able to enjoy herself. read more

There is not another studio in the Triangle area, or North Carolina, that offers all of the amazing things that CC&Co does! There are programs for every age and level of dancer from babies through adults and Recreational dancers through Pre Professional! My daughter is a member of their Core Company and it has been such a wonderful experience for her! The community between the dancers is beautiful and then same can be said about the staff! CC&Co has the most incredible staff and provides countless opportunities for the dancers to work with world renowned Guest Teachers and Choreographers in the dance industry! I love CC&Co!!!! My daughter dances there with Miss Charleen who is the BEST teacher ever! My daughter talks about her all the time. She also has Miss Nicole for her second class and loves her so much, she always gets stamps on her hands and loves to show them to me after class. Miss Melissa loves my daughter and always gives her some candy when she comes in! It is a must stop in her office everyday we are there... And then there is the owner Christy Curtis! This woman is my hero! She is always at the studio and is always smiling, I swear she doesn't sleep! I'm so glad we found this little gem in Raleigh! This is a fantastic dance studio! My daughters are preschool-aged and my oldest has started her 3rd year at CCs. Ms Charlene is such a delight and my girls absolutely adore her! She is the perfect dance teacher, as she is colorful, experienced and knows how to teach/talk to small children (which is so hard to find!). Her classes perform dances for parent observation for Halloween, Christmas, and the end of year Gala. They are so cute and fun to watch! I also highly recommend, Ms Nicole, who is an acro teacher and is wonderful with the kids. My daughter is already surprised me with back bends and cartwheels. Love this place! read more

The owner of this studio should be ashamed. we were a dance family there for a year- unfortunately this year- and there have been 2 teachers arrested for being SEX OFFENDERS!!!!! To make things worse- it has come out that the owner KNEW and instead of firing these people or keeping them from children, she dismissed it as only "allegations " and put our children at SERIOUS risk. On top of that, in the past two years, they have had a child killed by their parade float. This all shows some serious lack of care for the wellbeing of children and I would not trust them. There are too many other studios in the Triangle. read more

This is an amazing dance studio! We love this place! Every instructor that my daughter has had over the last three years has been wonderful. The instructors are so knowledgeable and talented, it's no wonder that CC's has produced so many professional dancers. Not only do the instructors want the kids to do well, they want them to have FUN! The office staff is very helpful and kind in answering ALL of the questions that are thrown their way. We left another dance studio in the area three years ago because of issues and so happy that we chose CC's and can not imagine ever leaving there! read more

I took a beginner adult hip hop class at CC&Co and it was a super cool experience. It was the first dance class I've ever taken, and it was such a warm, inviting, and encouraging environment to be a part of. Justin, our teacher for the class, was absolutely amazing. He made the class easy to follow, productive, and comfortable for everyone involved. He was super motivating and made me want to come back for more classes! CC&Co's facilities, teachers, and staff are all amazing to be around, and a great place for anyone to try dance at any level. I couldn't recommend this place more! read more

C C & Co has been such a wonderful gift for my daughter. She started dancing there in Kindergarten and has learned SO MUCH. The amazing teachers have nurtured her love for dance and acro that now she's there 3 days a week taking 5 styles of dance. She even begs to stay when it's time to leave. If she could dance 7 days a week, she absolutely would. We're in awe of the support CC&Co teachers give to our daughter. They empower her, celebrate her strength, and push her new heights each class. My almost three-year-old is having the time of her life in her first dance class. We had our first parent observation class last week and I was AMAZED that after only two months Ms. Charlene had these two-year-olds dancing and moving in sync. My daughter comes home singing and dancing every Friday and asks when she can go back to dance just about every day. My son loves dancing at this studio! He is 11 and was a little shy about starting a hip hop dance class but once he got started, dance days are his favorite days. He looks forward to going to class and actually gets upset on days we can't make it. The owner is great and takes the time to talk with people when she has free time and the staff is always helpful and accommodating. This studio is a little bit of a drive for us but we don't mind because we know the quality of instruction that our son is getting. read more

I have a 4 and a half year old daughter that attends weekly class and she enjoys it. As a Parent I can see how much she likes going to class. Recently I attended her class dance recital, (quite the show, is it a recital) and could see how much enthusiasm the instructor has for the kids and how well they react to her. Ms. Charlene is a ray of sunshine. Her love and passion for dance shows every time my 3yo daughter Bailey enters her class. We just saw the most precious performance on Friday in Halloween costumes (followed by a party with treats) and even though my child was the most disruptive in class she never lost patience with her. I said mostly it's a great dance studio. The people there can be pretty nice, some stricter than others. The only thing I have about this is that the information between the teachers and receptionists are completely off, as the receptionists don't tell the teachers anything like if you call in sick. If your not Sarah Pippin, good luck getting any attention, or respect from the studio director. If you want your child to grow and be noticed, this is not the studio for you. read more
