Miss April is so creative with providing extra opportunities to dance like fundraisers, summer camps, the Cary Christmas parade, teas, a daddy-daughter dance, etc... Many GE dancers have earned parts in the NC Ballet's Nutcracker productions. Another thing that we really appreciate about Miss April is her noticeable attention to keeping the girls young ladies by not dressing them like tramps when performing. (Just go to the Cary Christmas parade to see!) In addition to a small, quiet waiting room with closed circuit TV to show the children dancing in the main studio, there is a back room in which you can take young children to watch movies or play, and a nice seating area outside. Located in downtown Cary, it is close to parks and the Cary Public Library. Graceful Expressions is a blessing to my family.

However my experience didnt match that initial conversation. The lesson was 20min where they showed us posters on the wall, waltz, "rumba" and 5 minutes of prebasic salsa. That curriculum is amazing." My son loves his teachers and was so happy to see them again after vacation. He often says "I will tell my teachers about this." He is eager to please them. The Quality: the teachers know what they are doing. The kids jump around in the morning and sit quietly during lunch. It doesn't feel chaotic but under control, safe and calm. There are free and paid specials - free music and gym are free. There are also paid dance classes (Little People's Creative Workshop) and Soccer (Soccer shots). My son loves all of these and it's certainly convenient for us. My son has started really looking at books on his own, recognizing letters, writing letters etc. We are very happy with his progress and his teachers. They have a big screen in his class which they use for yoga, music, lessons etc. Value: It's not cheap, for sure. But many people don't know that religious-sponsored schools do not have to adhere to safety/quality standards which is one of the reasons why they are cheaper. My son is safe, happy and healthy in school. They provide meals but you can opt out if you'd like. They provide generally healthy options for kids and my son likes to eat there. It's a great school.

I'm sad that when we are able to go back to daycare we won't be able to do it since they won't accept part time kids anymore. Both these instructors are outstanding and some of the best I have experienced in the last 12 years we have been taking lessons. Ashley is patient, emotionally supportive, and able to break silver level steps into small parts that we eventually put together into whole steps. We have progressed a lot because of this. Plus, there is teaching charm and etiquette so that any woman I dance with has a positive experience not matter what their level of skill. The other dancers there are a friendly group that always welcomes any newcomers. The men dance with all the women, and the women feel comfortable asking men to dance. It's such a pleasant supportive atmosphere, especially in the Friday practice dances. We have tried other dance studios and consider Move with Grace the best.
