The BEST experience I've ever had for a birthday party! Just recently had my daughters 1st birthday party and we didn't have to do much ! The ladies entertained the kids, cleaned up for us, only thing we had to bring was food. I recommend x100!! This is a fun place for kids and the adults had a lot of fun too!! Definitely will be returning for a regular class! Thanks so much ! Go check them out

I took my 2 year old for open play, and we had a great time! I loved all the different large motor activities and how clean it felt. I felt the cost was very reasonable and really appreciated that the staff member asked us to sanitize our hands before entering. She was super helpful and friendly too. We haven't yet been able to attend a class yet, which is my largest complaint, simply because we only can attend classes on Thursday, and it seems to have been the same schedule every Thursday. Hopefully it will be switched up next month and we can attend! The descriptions sound so great! The only other thing is that a child this age would need to be well supervised during open play because there are a few things geared towards older kids and there's no separation between age groups. We will be back for sure!

I can't say enough good things about Theatre Raleigh. They have been great to work with! I called…read morewith some questions and I actually got to talk to a person and she just took care of everything and was so kind! Loved the show we will be going back!!

Update: As someone who values local businesses, I am saddened that my relationship with this venue…read morehas ended this way. I did everything 'right' by buying my season tickets the first day of subscriber pre-sales (September 9th) and selecting a specific seat for my needs. Only to show up for my performance to learn that my seat had been changed. Instead of enjoying a performance of my favorite show, I was forced into a position that shouldn't have happened. There has been a complete lack of transparency or any communication from the venue, from my seat being changed in January 2026 without my knowledge, to another refund I received 'out of the blue' that I had already attended. Was this unexpected refund for a past show an attempt to cover the taxes and fees they withheld from the first refund? Or was it an attempt to avoid apologizing for the original error? Over the years, I shared 157 photos and many reviews to support this venue's growth. I have removed most of these photos. I will leave the documentation of my seating error. I also organized group outings to the venue, which led others to purchase tickets. One person's voice matters. I hope my experience ensures that future subscribers are treated with the respect that their loyalty deserves, rather than being treated as a single seat that can be moved to accommodate a more lucrative sale. Update: Management stepped up and provided me with a full refund for the season, including the performances I've seen, excluding taxes and fees. This was after the box office called me a liar and unkind, not in the spirit of the show. Kindness starts with respecting your customers and believing them when they have the evidence in hand, with the paper-timed-stamp ticket. I have uploaded photos showing my original September 9, 2025, purchase date and the handwritten seat change forced upon me at check-in as proof." Then, with the Ludus system, they likely know who moved my season seat to sell two seats together. "When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time." Theatre Raleigh does not seem to respect its season ticket holders or donors. When I select a seat with my season ticket package, that is the seat I expect to sit in for the show. I specifically chose aisle seats as my preference, and the extra room helps with my knee injury. So I was upset when I arrived at a performance and was told my seat had been moved. Usually, it has been from a changed seating chart, but in my last performance, the actual seat number was changed. The aisle seat I had purchased on the first day of season-ticket sales was occupied by another patron. It appears that someone at the box office chose to relocate my seat so that two seats were available for sale together when individual tickets went on sale in January. So this tells me that they do not value season ticket holders and are more concerned about another sale. This was the final straw for me, and I cannot recommend this theatre to others. It feels like a slap in the face as a donor to be treated with such disdain. Granted, I am a low-level donor. When I complained at the show that my seat, purchased in September 2025, had been moved from the aisle, I was told the show was sold out. No, that is not acceptable. I will support and donate to other performing arts organizations that better value and recognize their patrons, and walk away from those that treat me like a transaction. I can no longer donate to an organization that prioritizes last-minute sales over the explicit seat selections of its long-term supporters.

Some kids were playing and some were watching the show. There weren't that many kids there when we arrived but when we left a few kids came. They offered lunch for an additional $8 which is good. My son had already eaten so we didn't get the lunch. There was one caregiver with the kids and one at the desk. It looked as if she was helping with the kids too when she wasn't needed at the desk so I wasn't concerned about supervision. The price was very reasonable for child care. I only said I would maybe recommend it bc we've only been once. However , we will be trying it again.

There is a lot of turnover among the coaches, and the quality of coaches and consistency between…read morecoaches is low. There is a clear split between the competitive teams, the Stars 'teams', and tumbling. If you are on the Stars 'team' or in a tumbling class, your children will be bumped off of the equipment, or shortchanged on time regularly because there is not enough space in the facility for the number of kids enrolled in those programs. The Office Manager, Laura, is rude, condescending, and pretends to hold all the power in the gym. She does not like hearing about any issues with the gym, facilities, or coaches. She will tell you that you are the only one who complains, that other parents do not have any concerns, or that it must be your (or your child's fault) that there is an issue. Even if your child is injured, as several of our daughter's classmates have been, there is no care from the gym, and no extra attention given to safety amongst the coaches. Laura's only concern is that you sign the contract, pay the money, and act grateful that your child has the opportunity to attend such a great gym. RSG does not hold up their end of any part of the contract. If you have a problem, there is no one to turn to. The coaches are afraid of her. There is no communication when coaches leave, and a lot of them leave. When you show up, there is just a new person leading the class. There was an email recently that no water service was available at the gym, but that classes would continue anyway. You could not use the toilets, or drink from the water fountain, but were free to purchase water from the gym. WHAT? It is really a shame, too, because it IS a nice facility, and most of the coaches really do care about the gymnasts. But the entire place is poisoned by the fact that the Office Manager is the person you need to deal with for everything else. And for some reason, she walks the floor during practice, talks with the coaches, distracts them from teaching, and makes people wait at the front desk, and never answers the phone.

In August 2015, I enrolled my 2 daughters into RSG's competitive team classes (Level 2). The class…read morewas contracted to teach the girls competitive techniques/skills and a routine for competitions beginning in January 2016. Early on, I noticed that there seemed to be a lot of down time and they were not making it to each of the stations as promised. Some days the girls would even complain that they barely broke a sweat and that they felt that they kept getting kicked off equipment so that the higher levels teams could train. I spoke to the coach who also agreed that she was frustrated as well. The coach said it was too crowded and that something needed to be done. When I brought it to the manager's attention, she was very defensive and short with me. She argued that they were going to all the stations and that if they weren't it was a coach issue not gym issue. We were unhappy with how it was going, but decided to give it some time because the girls really wanted to train for the competitions and they wanted to better their gymnastics skills. Unfortunately, the girls' coach became sick in October and had to take some time off. Once she left, the girls were under the guidance of various other coaches. These coaches had the girls run through the basics, but it seemed more like babysitting than training and still nothing had been mentioned about the routine for the upcoming competition. One day, the substitute coach stood there talking to another adult and when my daughter approached her with a question about what they should be doing, she very rudely said, "Whatever you usually do is what you should do." Then she turned and resumed her conversation. On another occasion, the entire team of girls sat waiting for class to start and it wasn't until 20 minutes past the start time, when a parent finally asked who was teaching that day, that the manger finally pulled someone to cover the class. One day, my daughter came over and asked me if we could just go ahead and leave because the person who was covering that day was just talking to another coach while the kids sat waiting. Sure enough as I watched, the girls were just sitting on the mat as the coach stood chatting with another adult. Another parent and I approached the gym manager to point out what was happening and she immediately became defensive and even challenged my daughter as though she was not telling the truth. I told her not to address my daughter, but to talk to me directly. I told her we were dissatisfied with the gym's instruction and that we would like to talk to the owner because they were not getting the instruction that I signed them up for. She told me the owner was very busy and couldn't talk to all the parents whenever there was a problem. She said it was policy to pay for the next two months of training whether we came or not. Again, I asked if she could have the owner call. My husband also called two more times in the following weeks requesting to speak to the owner, but we have yet to hear from him. RSG does not care about parental feedback and their main concern is just getting paid regardless of the situation. If you choose to go with this gym, be sure that you understand that the owner does not care to talk to parents if they are not personal friends of his and the manager is defensive and unwilling to listen to problems within the program. RSG expects us to pay another $855 even though we are no longer attending classes because they require a two month notice when withdrawing. I think it is such a shame that we have already spent $2137.50 for five months of training that mainly consisted of the girls sitting, watching, and waiting. Rather than paying the extra $855 for nothing, don't you think RSG should be offering to reimburse us for not holding up their end of the contract? Or at the very least, don't you think a return phone call is the least they could do?
