Which is fine because it's policy but just letting you know in advance that if you need more flexibility around time this may pose as difficult. They mentioned they would let the manager know to see if theres credit reimbursement but I havent heard anything since. I've only been to beginner classes but the instructors seem ok! Not super advanced but not super new either so would be according to each person's judgement.

The website is easy to navigate and the studio owner, Alicia, is extremely kind to answer questions prior to registration. A few email exchanges along with a follow up and 5 stars on customer focus was appreciated. I opted to begin by jump starting and return to yoga practice on Saturday, then Sunday....next one Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, ... no option Thursday so I will have a rest day, then back Friday and so forth! A real kick starter to get my fitness goals back on track and strengthen my body, mind, heart, and soul. Pura Vida Studio is a lovely, well appointed, and top notch studio in the safety category. Class starts on time and door locked for client safety and security this is pivotal and while some may disagree, fundamental safety protocols are essential. Pura Vida Studio is clean and utilized space well and even offered a tour first day as new client. A sense of positivity in this local community. I enjoyed meeting the owner who set up the room prior to a full class with a motivational card which seems to be spot on and a delightful presentation and experience. She had a nice time but had no intention of pursing lessons she was there just supporting a friend. After the class ended Paul approached her with a contract and began the sales pitch. Which you know I get it, you are trying to get business. My mom politely declined several times. I'm not sure if Paul misses social cues or is just not used to women saying no but he then got completely inappropriate. He asked her if she was declining because she had body issues then proceeded to tell her she must not love herself all because she wouldn't sign up for his stupid dance classes. Really? She's almost 70. This is a pathetic sales tactic, how dare you make women feel bad about themselves for saying no to you. If you did this to my mom I'm sure it's being done to other women once you can't make money off them. Do better.

When I told the video person they needed to at least move over a seat to remove it from my line of sight, I was told that would not be possible, even -- AMAZINGLY -- though there were TWO vacant seats to the right. I was told my comments were unkind. This, too, is amazing since compromising my experience to satisfy their desire to be center-row is the very epitomy of "unkind." This posture is, however, consistent with comments below that pertain to their arrogance. These guys need to do better and improve their attitude.

The location is great for us and my daughter just likes acting goofy so we let her stay for now. If she continues to be interested, I will put her in a more serious program. On the administrative side, it's been less than stellar given early troubles with costume ordering. We followed details to a T, and as a first time dance mom was a bit neurotic. Costumes arrived and you not only had to melt her I to it, but craftsmanship was poor as there were visible tears in the fabric in multiple spots. Uncertain of what to do, I naturally turned to the dance studio front staff who were rude and basically said I must not have paid attention to the instructions. Needless to say, I was clearly on my own to find a remedy which was not only irritating and confusing but costly. On a side note, and maybe by design but the front lobby is always packed and boiling degrees given it's small cramped size.

Kay and the faculty are very supportive and attentive to all the kids, regardless of their level. They keep a careful eye on who needs what kind of work and suggest classes accordingly. It's remarkable how well they know each kid, and everything they are dealing with both in and out of dance. They also enforce a policy of all the kids being nice to each other. Everyone applauds for everyone else, everyone thanks the teacher at the end of each class, everyone works hard and is supportive of each other. The studio is growing along with my daughters, so that there are always challenging classes to take and interesting things to learn. They have been given wonderful opportunities not just to perform and to compete, but also to do things like dance at local cultural festivals and for seniors in a care facility. The studio is also very respectful of family time and homework time, and many of their dancers are also honors students in school.
