I have been dancing over 12 years but have only had 3 long term instructors who I have really connected with and they were all in Massachusetts; until now. Whitney (co-owner) has the ability and the presence of mind to see what I already know and build on it. Breaking down steps in a language that I understand is key and she nails it. She leverages her communication with me and she has just enough humor to make me feel at home. Austin, her husband and co-owner, is always happy to help when needed to assess or advise. Their other instructors, Ian, Cassie, although newer, are equally committed to making dancing a great experience. As I watch new students join and work with a staff who makes it all about the student I can understand why the studio is growing every week. The very enthusiastic, friendly and patient staff can handle both beginner and experienced dancers. I can go there in the most foul mood and leave feeling so much better. Singles and couples can have a great time taking lessons or attending Friday night "practice" parties. They have both private and group lessons. The group lessons are a great way to meet others interested in ballroom dancing.

I just love watching her in this class…read more- her instructor plays fun princess music, they dance with little props that go along with the seasons/holidays - pumpkins, "falling" leaves, etc. One class they all got to put on a princess dress. It's a great combination of age appropriate ballet activities mixed with ballet terminology and moves. It's a busy studio, lots of dancers of all ages coming and going - and they all look very happy and excited to be there, which is a great sign! Already looking forward to the recital in June!

Highly competent instructors. The staff at CBC are all highly skilled, and will help you improve your technique regardless of your current skill level. 2. Lower prices. The price per lesson at CBC is quite a bit less than the typical franchise studio. 3. Great atmosphere for learning. The staff is very friendly and encouraging, allowing you to learn at whatever pace you feel comfortable with. 4. No contracts. Unlike some franchise operations, you are not pressured into signing any contracts designed to prevent you from switching studios. Since CBC is a such a great studio, they don't have to worry about that.

Walking into Legacy I have never had that experience. Each new person is brought into our family. I have been going to this studio for 9 years and each year brings new experiences, great people, and a whole lot of fun. I've found myself wanting to explore every form of dance that has ever been created and goodness knows this studio has no shortage of them. I'm amazed that in 9 years I have not only expanded on my technique but I never ran out of things to learn.

My oldest daughter has been enrolled in Acro, Ballet and Jazz and excelled tremendously in her skills during that time. She attended a summer dance program with a friend and excelled beyond the expectations of the teacher although it was only a week and I know it was due to her time spent at Stage Door. Chasta and Willis are very invested in developing a quality and nurturing environment for all the students and it showed on all levels of my daughters' participation in the studio. We also participated in the Christmas parade and the end of year recital and it was extremely organized even though there were hundreds of participants.
