PDC…read moremanages the rare feat of doing two things incredibly well; it is both a very warm, welcoming, friendly, well run and well organized studio and also an incredible teaching facility for dance. Kay and the faculty are very supportive and attentive to all the kids, regardless of their level. They keep a careful eye on who needs what kind of work and suggest classes accordingly. It's remarkable how well they know each kid, and everything they are dealing with both in and out of dance. They also enforce a policy of all the kids being nice to each other. Everyone applauds for everyone else, everyone thanks the teacher at the end of each class, everyone works hard and is supportive of each other. The studio is growing along with my daughters, so that there are always challenging classes to take and interesting things to learn. They have been given wonderful opportunities not just to perform and to compete, but also to do things like dance at local cultural festivals and for seniors in a care facility. The studio is also very respectful of family time and homework time, and many of their dancers are also honors students in school. My daughters have learned not just how to dance, but how to manage their time, how to be responsible, and how to support and nurture others. No connection with the parent....no staff present, or so it seems. Do you even care when you open the door at the end of the class if my child is picked up? You don't even make a connection with a parent to make sure the children are safe... And if there is a problem, there's no one there to speak to, for the child or the parent. No place I want my child going. Need to learn some manners, at the very least....or do you just care about the tuition??? Glad to be out of that place.

It's a great combination of age appropriate ballet activities mixed with ballet terminology and moves. It's a busy studio, lots of dancers of all ages coming and going - and they all look very happy and excited to be there, which is a great sign! Already looking forward to the recital in June!

When I told the video person they needed to at least move over a seat to remove it from my line of sight, I was told that would not be possible, even -- AMAZINGLY -- though there were TWO vacant seats to the right. I was told my comments were unkind. This, too, is amazing since compromising my experience to satisfy their desire to be center-row is the very epitomy of "unkind." This posture is, however, consistent with comments below that pertain to their arrogance. These guys need to do better and improve their attitude.
