AVOID -- extremely unprofessional and a serious lack of communication. One of the worst vendors you could choose to work with. I've attached all of the emails so people can see the full timeline and judge for themselves. We initially reached out through their website on March 9 for a quote on 6 table florals while my planner and I were still in the very early stages of planning. At that point, we were very clear that we did not yet know the final quantity or full setup because we were still waiting for our planner to send us the layout for the event. Mariana responded with a quote and even called us the next day (March 10). During that call I made it very clear that we were still figuring things out and expected to have a better idea early the following week once my planner finalized the layout. Many of our vendors are coming from the city and offered to pick up the florals along the way since the florist is located in San Jose and our event is in Morgan Hill. The only reason we even considered this vendor in the first place was because of the convenience of the location. However, we were quoted $299 just for a delivery fee from San Jose to Morgan Hill, which felt excessive. Florists from San Francisco were quoting around $150 for delivery, which honestly seemed much more reasonable. I called again on March 11 to understand how pickup would work and how the florals would be packaged so I could explain it to the vendors who offered to transport them. She strongly pushed for delivery instead. At that point we figured fine--let's just pay the travel fee to make things less stressful. Around 2:30 PM on March 11 I asked her to send her Venmo so we could move forward with the deposit once I confirmed the details with my planner. Less than 24 hours later, she started sending multiple emails pressuring us for payment. At no point did she communicate that there were other inquiries or any urgency about availability. I didn't even see the emails until the morning of March 12. We have two small infants at home, so as you can imagine our days are busy and chaotic. I also still hadn't heard back from my planner about the layout or whether we needed more florals, or if pickup was the better option. I purposely wanted to wait until those details were confirmed before sending a deposit -- flowers are expensive, and we wanted to make sure everything was finalized. For the past two days we felt nonstop pressure from this vendor to send payment immediately -- even though key details about quantities, setup, and flower availability were still unclear. Meanwhile, none of the other vendors we're working with for this event have behaved this way. Every single one of them has been patient and professional, understanding that planning takes coordination between multiple people. What made this even more concerning is that she herself wasn't even sure if she could secure the specific flowers we wanted. That alone made us nervous. Imagine feeling pressured to send a non-refundable $800 deposit when the florist hasn't even confirmed if the flowers you want are available. When we didn't rush to send the payment within her unrealistic timeline, she suddenly became "unavailable." The timing of that was very telling. Planning an event requires trust, clear communication, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience showed the complete opposite. If a vendor is this pushy before you've even finalized details, imagine how stressful it would be once money is already paid and you're locked in. No one tells you how expensive florals are for a wedding until you start showing your Pinterest boards around and realize that all the things you've pinned add up. I reached out to multiple different florists to find someone who could execute my vision but also at a reasonable price and within my budget. Mariane was very quick at responding, had experience with the venue I was getting married at, and from her IG I was able to pick examples of what I liked along with blending it with my Pinterest boards. Another thing people don't tell you is that you don't really get to see how your vision will come together until your wedding day! You can share photos, color schemes, etc. but the first time you see it all together with your table settings, decor, or even just a garland or bouquet is generally day of. Mariane sent me a preview photo of my wedding bouquet the night before. Feeling so anxious about my own special day that photo calmed my nerves and got me excited to see how the rest of the florals would turn out! I asked for fall colors with succulents and proteas and provided photos for inspiration she executed everything so well and better than I could have imagined! We repurposed a lot of flowers from our ceremony to our reception which was important for me. TL;DR - Without hesitation, I would recommend (and have been!) CM Fleuri to anyone who is looking for tasteful, elegant, natural wedding florals from a vendor that is supportive, responsive, and affordable! Despite my long overdue review, I can't sing enough praises about Mariane at CM Fleuri. While I initially had plans for a family friend to do our wedding floral, an emergency changed all of that and I was left in a small state of panic. With just under 5 months to my wedding, I thought there was no chance I would be able to find a florist for my summer wedding date that would be within my budget. I took a chance and messaged CM Fleuri via Wedding Wire as a quick browse of Instagram confirmed that Mariane's style was what I was looking for. She responded within HOURS and I knew that she was someone I wanted to work to so long as our availability lined up. Cue my over-the-top requests and photo-heavy email, which I expected a lot of pushback on due to the fact that I wanted a large, cascade-like bridal bouquet, a garland for a backdrop, 7 bridesmaids bouquets, 10 boutonnieres, 18 centerpieces and 6 pinned corsages for under $2200. Mariane responded within 24 hours with many photos of her own, and suggestions on how to make my vision come true within my budget. As we got closer to the wedding, I realized there were changes that needed to be made, and Mariane was just as flexible as she was when we first signed the contract. On the day of the wedding, she had everything ready in our bridal room and stayed to make sure everything from the centerpiece to the garland was set up perfectly. I received compliment after compliment from my guests, and get to smile every day when I look at my dried bridal bouquet. I couldn't be happier with her work, and only wish it made sense to get married again ASAP so I can have another reason to use her services. At our initial consultation regarding flowers for our wedding, Mariane was well-prepared with examples of her past work, and very knowledgeable about what flowers would be in season, the estimated cost, how well they would hold up, etc. She provided expert guidance on the types of flowers that would match our color choices (including greenery), and was very helpful regarding various options for centerpieces, sprays, and more. We were impressed with her attention to detail, including logistics on everything from loose petals to cake flowers, and we felt that she was very passionate about and committed to her work, all at a great price. Day-of, the flowers arrived on time, and setup went smoothly without requiring any guidance from us. Flowers looked as fresh as can be, of high quality, and they were exactly what was discussed. Agreed-upon details were all there, including late changes and additions such as the exact positioning of flowers attached to the stage arch. Boutonnieres were attached and adjusted by her staff, who were kind enough and patient enough to allow the videographer and photographers to take the footage and shots they wanted of the process. Cake flowers were impeccable, and provided in water jars as requested. Flowers lasted the whole day without a problem, and her staff even stayed longer to move the spray from ceremony site to reception, above and beyond the agreement, to ensure that the spray was not damaged in transit and that it looked good on the reception stage. After the wedding, we managed to dry some of the bouquet flowers without issue (another good sign), and one of the bridesmaids managed to dry an entire centerpiece--which looked surprisingly good two months afterward.
