Scott was very accommodating. He let me keep my car there over the weekend while I figured out what to do with it, and didn't bat an eye when I wanted to come take pictures of it (while in the shop) in case I could get decent money for it instead of repair. Ended up getting the transmission rebuilt - it was shot, and the price I was quoted was reasonable. I had my car back less than 48 hours after authorizing repair, and driving it now, 6 months later, the gear changes are butter smooth. This shop is worth going to. It's not a polished dealership with a lavish waiting room and coffee and WiFi, but it IS good value, good service, and good people.

Tony said that the steering rack was cracked, The Rack and pinion.. Which his actually next to the Trans. My son would have had to run over sidewalks at that MANY to crack that and his rims would be bent. THEY broke this PART which is another $2000 to fix!!!!!!! Tony kept blaming my son, I wish he just be truthful and admit they BROKE it.. He even told me I should get my son a truck since he drives recklessly!! Are you kidding me? He told me he can leave the care up to show me the crack.. My husband called and spoke with him. Told him we were deciding what to do.. Decided to have a Town truck come and get the car and have a Mechanic that Runs a local Tire and auto place look at it. Well, once I told Tony I was having someone Come get the car he said I had to sign papers and pay him $125.00 because they did a diagnostic on it.. And here is the big thing.. HE had the CAR apart when I never authorized him to take the car apart! Once we had it at the other shop they were able to see the crack without taking the car apart.. Why was the car apart? Just DON"T take your Car here! My son now has to finance a new car because of this.. Can't get much for the car Tony fixed because of the new problem! NOT fun..

Let's be honest most women get screwed by car shops, but at Eagle Transmission he has great integrity and told me what he thought was wrong given a previous repair done in May by Firestone. In a vicious world there are still some honest mechanics out there. Thanks again Scott you saved me and my pockets and it's greatly appreciated.

At the time, Jason assured me this vehicle had a brand new engine, and that a considerable amount of other parts and components where recently replaced, as Jason had owned this vehicle prior. At the time, this truck had just over 240000 miles and Jason assured me that if I brought the truck to him he would honor a "warranty" that would cover parts... No labor. At the time, i was being pressured from my organization to purchase a vehicle, so I had little choice but to agree. Furthermore, I made the mistake of not paying attention to the quality of tire and what kind of rims/tires the truck needed... 22s as it were are difficult because no one has them on hand... The truck ran fine for a couple of months until those tires had to be replaced... Only 3000 miles after I bought the truck. Increasingly, more and more, issues began to arise with this vehicle... Coolant lines needing to be replaced, oil pressure senders and sensors going bad... My dashboard backlight going out (they are not individual lamps, but a whole piece that needs to be replaced) and to top it off- the knock sensor in the "brand new" engine Jason claimed all began showing signs of wear and needed changing... Fast forward to today- 255,000 miles on the frame - I've sunk close to $2500 already, owing $2800 still and still needing close to 1k work... Igo to ask Jason to to honor his promise for a warranty on the knock sensor and the dash light as I feel they pertain to the year warranty... What do I get as a response? Defensive rhetoric and accusations of not taking care of the vehicle... This guy will go back on his word and professional promises to his customers. I wish I could continue but at this point I will not be doing any further business with this establishment.

The repair was reported by Carfax as "Transmission Replaced". That sent off alarm bells to my mechanic. I went to the source and discovered the truth; it was a distance sensor replacement, not a complete replacement of the transmission. Sounds like a simple enough question and answer, but it wasn't. Joe and Chris took their time to explain everything done on the car during the repair and what it meant to the future of the car's maintenance. And here's the best part: they had no agenda nor reason to tell me, a complete stranger, everything I needed to know and take the time to carefully do so. But by doing so, they have helped me make an informed decision about purchasing this car. They are stand up folks, people, and I hope they continue to do well into the future.
